Peabo Bryson’s Family Story Reveals Never-Before-Seen Details — Photos

The world is mourning Peabo Bryson after the Grammy-winning singer’s death at age 75. But as tributes continue pouring in, a quieter family story has emerged — one filled with little-known details, personal struggles, and rare photos that reveal a side of the music legend many fans never knew existed.

Following Peabo Bryson’s death, a closer look at his family reveals little-known details, including rare glimpses of his daughter Linda and the mother he never publicly discussed. For decades, Peabo kept much of his private life out of the spotlight. Now, in the wake of his passing, those hidden chapters are coming into focus.

Peabo died on June 2, 2026, after suffering a stroke, according to reports. In a statement, his family later revealed that he “transitioned peacefully at 5:00 p.m. ET on the evening of Tuesday, June 2, 2026, surrounded by the love of his family and those closest to him.”

In the statement, the family described him as a beloved husband, father, friend, and artist whose impact stretched far beyond the stage. “In this deeply difficult moment, the family asks for privacy as they mourn the loss of a beloved husband, father, family member, friend, and artist whose impact extended far beyond the stage.”

Details regarding a celebration of life and memorial services will be announced at a later date. Peabo’s death came days after a concerning health update. On May 31, 2026, concerns about his health had surfaced after his representative confirmed he had suffered a stroke and was receiving medical care.

Even amid the health scare, Peabo had recently been sharing moments of joy with fans and loved ones.

The Family Celebrations That Came Just Before Everything Changed

On April 13, the singer marked his 75th birthday with an Instagram post featuring him surrounded by family and friends. Photos from the gathering showed Peabo smiling beside large silver “75” balloons, posing with loved ones, and celebrating with a custom cake marking the occasion.

Other images captured him blowing out candles and spending time with relatives during the celebration. “This is 75!! 🎂 Thankyou for all my well wishes 🫶🏾,” his post read.

The milestone was also celebrated by his daughter Linda Bryson-Thigpen, who shared a heartfelt tribute on Facebook. “HAPPY 75th BIRTHDAY TO MY HANDSOME FATHER PEABO BRYSON!!! We had a nice celebration last night!! Here’s to 75 more!!! Just kidding,” she wrote.

The post offered a glimpse into a father-daughter relationship that many fans may not have realized existed.

The Daughter Peabo Rarely Spoke About

According to People, Peabo welcomed Linda in 1968. That means the future music star was only 17 years old when he became a father — a little-known fact from the earliest chapter of his life. Despite decades in the public eye, Peabo rarely discussed Linda publicly and never made her a prominent part of his celebrity narrative.

As a result, many fans knew him as the voice behind classics like “Beauty and the Beast” and “Gentlemen of Souls” without ever hearing much about his first child. That silence makes the family photos and personal stories Linda has shared in recent years all the more revealing.

The Loss That Left Linda Struggling Behind the Scenes

While the Bryson family was celebrating milestones, Linda was also carrying a heartbreak many followers may have missed. In August 2025, Linda revealed that her mother had died and opened up about the difficult months that followed.

She explained that she had been struggling with the loss in ways she never expected. At the same time, she shared how a thoughtful gesture from her assistant principal reminded her that her prayers had not gone unheard during one of the most challenging periods of her life.

The emotional message offered one of the few public references to the woman who shared Linda with Peabo — a woman whose identity the singer never publicly discussed. Months later, Linda revealed that the pain was still very present. In a March 1, 2026 post on Facebook, she shared:

“It took me awhile to post this but my birthday celebration this year was full of love mixed with sadness. This was my first birthday without my mother!”

The Rare Photos That Reveal a Hidden Family Chapter

As Linda documented her grief online, she also quietly shared something even more unusual — photos of herself with her late mother. For longtime Peabo fans, those images provide a glimpse into a family story that remained largely private for decades.

Unlike many celebrity families who regularly appear in interviews or red-carpet photos, Linda and her mother lived almost entirely outside the public spotlight. That makes the images especially striking today, as fans revisit Peabo’s life and legacy following his death.

Rather than focusing on fame, the photos tell a different story — one centered on family bonds, personal loss, and memories that now carry even greater significance.

The Woman Peabo Called ‘The Absolute Love Of My Life’

While much remains unknown about Linda’s mother, Peabo was far more open about the woman who became his wife. According to People, he married Tanya Boniface, a member of the British R&B group The 411, which found chart success in the United Kingdom during the 2000s. She also appeared in several acting projects, including “Cells” and “Becky & Barry #theactorslife.”

The couple later welcomed a son, Robert, in 2018. In a birthday tribute posted in October 2023, Peabo left little doubt about how he felt. “Today, is a day I will always be grateful for, in every way imaginable. This day, marks the moment, that Devine fates, ushered Tanya Elizabeth Boniface, (now Bryson,)into this world!!”

He continued, “Cheers to you my Love, you are the other half of the soul, that I was born, missing!! You made me whole again!!” The message called Tanya “the absolute love, of his life.”

The Family Legacy He Leaves Behind

Following his death, The Hollywood Reporter, confirmed that Peabo is survived by his wife, Tanya Boniface Bryson; his children, Robert and Linda; and three grandchildren. For many fans, the headlines focused on the legendary voice behind some of Disney’s most beloved songs.

Yet the family stories emerging in recent days reveal something equally memorable — a devoted father, a proud grandfather, and a man whose private life held far more depth than the public ever saw. And among the most unexpected discoveries are the rare glimpses of Linda and her late mother, a hidden family chapter that remained largely untold until now.

While Linda’s posts offered a rare glimpse into a family chapter Peabo largely kept private, the singer spent his final years sharing a different side of his personal life — one centered on his wife, Tanya, their son Kit, and the music that remained at the heart of it all.

His Final Posts Showed Him Doing What He Loved

The loss is especially poignant given how active Peabo remained in the months leading up to his death. His social media posts from 2026 showed the singer continuing to perform for audiences around the world.

In January, he shared an Instagram video inviting fans to attend an upcoming concert in Philadelphia. “Who’s coming to see me in Philly??” he wrote. “Tickets are still available!!”

A month later, Peabo posted photos from a performance in Jakarta, Indonesia. Thanking concertgoers for their support, he described the experience as “incredible” and said he could “feel and see all the love.”

His final Instagram post offered a more personal glimpse into his life. Shared in early May, the video showed his young son, Robert “Kit” Bryson, joining him onstage during a concert in Atlanta.

“Super proud Dad moment from last nights Gig in Atlanta ♥️,” Peabo wrote. “Keep shining Kitt 🫶🏾✨.”

Looking back, the posts captured a performer who was still touring, connecting with fans, and embracing family life well into his seventies.

The Little Boy Who Became Part of His Final Chapter

The appearance of Peabo’s son in his final Instagram post carried special meaning.

The Grammy winner welcomed Kit in 2018 while in his sixties. Announcing the birth on X, Peabo described the child as “a new life, a greater love and God willing, a extended legacy.”

Months before Kit’s arrival, Peabo reflected on becoming a father to a son during an appearance alongside Tanya. “Yeah, so I have a daughter, but raising your own son is different because the dynamics are reversed,” he said on Oprah.

Tanya jokingly predicted that her husband would not be nearly as strict as he claimed he would be. “He thinks he’s gonna be like, super strict,” she said. “He’s gonna rain down hard on this little boy, and I’m like, you’re gonna be butter when that baby comes along.”

In a 2022 interview with Simply Buckhead, the hitmaker said he loved being a husband, father, and grandfather while continuing to write, record, and perform.

The publication described a busy life in Atlanta, where Peabo balanced touring with time at home and spoke proudly about his family.

“Love is the only true commodity worth anybody’s salt,” Peabo said at the time. “Love has never been so unpopular, and I’m still writing about it.”

Peabo Once Credited His Wife With Saving His Life

The recent stroke was not the first major health challenge Peabo had faced. As reported in 2019, Peabo’s team first announced that the “Feel The Fire” singer suffered a mild heart attack at his home two days before and had been taken to a hospital.

“He is currently listed in stable condition and is awake and responsive. Both his medical team and family are optimistic for a speedy recovery,” a rep statement read at the time.

In a later statement, the legendary singer’s representative assured that he was in stable condition.

“We are happy to report that Double Grammy/Double Oscar Award-winning balladeer, Peabo Bryson, is on his way to making a full recovery!” the statement read.

It continued:

“Mr. Bryson is still listed in stable condition and is improving, rapidly. The family continues to request privacy, but extends their deepest gratitude and appreciation to friends and fans for the outpour of love and support expressed throughout this experience.”

The acclaimed singer took to Instagram shortly afterward to acknowledge the support he received and provide an update on his condition.

“First of all, I have to say THANK YOU to all of you for coming together and praying for me!!!” Peabo wrote, alongside a video of him sitting upright in his hospital bed.

He added: “I know and understand that we have a choice in this world and when I needed everyone the most, everyone came to together and said a prayer for my health and for that… I THANK YOU with a full heart of love and my family THANK YOU too!! I’m getting stronger by the day!”

Peabo had also publicly expressed gratitude to the people who supported him during the ordeal — especially his wife, Tanya.

In a May 2019 Instagram post, the singer revealed that his wife played a critical role during the medical emergency. He wrote, “This woman is my wife… She is my SHERO! This woman saved my life! Read that line again… ‘She saved my life’!”

Peabo said his wife helped save his life by following instructions from a 911 operator during the ordeal. He also thanked fans for respecting his family’s request for privacy and for keeping him in their prayers throughout the ordeal.

The post offered a glimpse into how deeply the experience affected the singer and how grateful he was for the support he received during his recovery. In the final months of his life, Peabo Bryson continued to share what mattered most to him: music, family, and the son he proudly welcomed onto the stage beside him.

But as fans celebrate the career that produced some of the most beloved love songs of the past four decades, another story has quietly emerged in the background. Through Linda’s memories, rare family photos, and reflections on the loss of her mother, a deeply personal chapter of Peabo’s life has come into view.

For years, that part of his story remained largely unseen. Now, in the wake of his death, those glimpses offer a fuller picture of the man behind the music — not just a Grammy-winning performer, but a father, grandfather, husband, and family man whose legacy lives on through the people he loved most.

Lionel Richie, 77, Breaks Silence After Hospital Rush, Sparking Buzz Among Fans

Lionel Richie’s joint tour with Earth, Wind & Fire was supposed to be a victory lap. Instead, the very first night sent the legendary singer to the hospital — and his fans into a frenzy of worry.

The 77-year-old “All Night Long” hitmaker has since broken his silence on what happened, and the words he used are now circulating widely among concerned fans on social media.

What Happened Onstage in St. Paul

Lionel Richie, 77, was rushed to a hospital after falling ill onstage on Wednesday, June 24, 2026, in the middle of his concert at the Grand Casino Arena in St. Paul, Minnesota.

The moment came during “Dancing on the Ceiling” — a normally high-energy spot in the setlist. Richie told the crowd he felt “dizzy” and “strange,” and even took a seat on one of the stage platforms while still trying to sing.

Ever the showman, he joked with the audience that the best thing to do in his situation was to “sit your ass down.”

His saxophonist, Dino Soldo, eventually stepped up to tell the crowd that Lionel wasn’t feeling well and would be unable to continue the show.

The Ambulance Ride

Sources connected to Richie said paramedics met him backstage, and he was taken by ambulance to a hospital — though it was described as a precautionary measure.

The incident came on the opening night of his joint tour with Earth, Wind & Fire, a run scheduled to hit 26 venues. Next up on the calendar was supposed to be Chicago on Friday night, followed by Columbus.

How Lionel Addressed It

Then came the update fans had been waiting for. In a post shared by Live Nation Chicago, Richie’s team confirmed that under advisement by doctors to rest and return to full health, he had postponed his next two shows — Friday, June 26 in Chicago, and Saturday, June 27 in Columbus, OH.

He and Earth, Wind & Fire would return to the stage on Tuesday, June 30 in Pittsburgh, PA.

And then the line that caught fans’ attention: Lionel was “heartbroken” to postpone the two shows and “cannot wait to be back performing for his fans.”

That single word — heartbroken — set off a wave of reaction. For a performer known for joyful, sing-along arena nights, it landed harder than the usual boilerplate apology.

Rescheduled dates, the statement added, would be announced soon. The United Center in Chicago echoed the news with its own show update on Facebook, noting the postponement was made “Under advisement by doctors.”

What Fans Had to Say

The comments under the announcement filled up fast — some sweet, some pointed, and a few that didn’t hold back.

“To one of the nicest guys in the world hope you get to feeling better🙌,” wrote one fan.

Another commenter, still thinking about the abruptly cut St. Paul show, asked: “What about Saint Paul Mn ? An hour concert was not enough….get well soon.”

One ticket holder pleaded for a return date. “Will he come back to St. Paul to finish the second half of his show? I waited my whole life to see him!! Would love more than anything if he came back to do so. Most importantly, praying he is okay! 🙏🏻 @lionelrichie,” she wrote.

Not everyone was sympathetic. “He’s Faking It,” one skeptic posted bluntly. Another claimed, “He can’t sing anymore anyway. Voice is gone. This is all a PR stunt.”

But plenty pushed back in defense of veteran artists still touring into their late 70s and 80s. As one fan put it, “they are the real ones.”

For now, Richie’s team has asked fans to hold tight. The Pittsburgh stop on June 30 is the next time the world will see whether the heartbroken icon is ready to do what he does best — perform.

As we previously reported, fans who gathered in Minnesota expecting a night of classic hits instead witnessed a moment many never imagined seeing from Lionel Richie.

Lionel Richie had barely launched his latest tour when fans watched him struggle through a performance and suddenly disappear backstage. Videos from the concert, an ambulance ride, and a new health update have now revealed what happened next.

The singer appeared determined to keep entertaining the crowd, but as videos later showed, something seemed off long before concertgoers learned he had been taken to a hospital.

‘That’s a Bad Sign’: Videos Captured an Unusual Moment

Richie was in the middle of his June 25 performance at Grand Casino Arena when he suddenly appeared unable to continue as usual. During “Dancing on the Ceiling,” typically one of the most energetic numbers in his setlist, the singer sat down on a platform onstage while continuing to perform.

Addressing the audience, Richie joked about the situation while acknowledging that it was unlike anything he had experienced before. “Now, what I have learned about my years of being in the business. When you are feeling busy, sit your [expletive] down. Ha ha ha ha ha ha! And when you are feeling strange about yourself, sit your [expletive] down.”

He continued, “Now, I want you to know that’s the first time in the history of ‘dancing on the ceiling’ I’ve done it sitting down. That’s a bad sign. That’s a bad sign, y’all.”

Music critic Jon Bream, who was at the concert, later noted in a social media post that Richie, who was feeling “dizzy” and “strange,” performed “Dancing on the Ceiling” sitting down during opening night at Grand Casino Arena.

The Show Came to an Abrupt End

Fans soon learned that the concert would not continue. Richie’s saxophonist, Dino Soldo, then stepped in with an announcement. “Unfortunately, Lionel is not feeling well. He won’t be able to continue with the show, and additional information will be available. Thank you for your patience and your understanding. It’s been amazing. Safe travels home, everyone. Thank you. Thank you so much.”

According to TMZ, paramedics met Richie backstage shortly afterward. Sources connected to the singer told the outlet he was transported by ambulance to a hospital, though the trip was described as a precautionary measure.

At the time, his condition remained unclear.

Fans Admitted the Videos Were Hard to Watch

As clips from the concert spread online, viewers shared their concerns in the comment sections.

One person wrote, “He was smart, he knew something was wrong.” Another person stated, “I can’t watch. He’s one of my favorites.” A third commenter speculated, “I would not be surprised if he was overall fatigued and dehydrated, and possibly coming down with a sudden illness. He’s 77 years old and it touring takes a toll on an artist.”

In another clip, others who attended the concert said they remained anxious for news. One fan asked, “I was in the audience, [sic] is there an update? Truly worried.” Another person commented, “I get dizzy just watching this. Too much going on with lighting and effects ect [sic].” A third wrote, “So scary.” COMMENT SCREENSHOT

Richie Once Thought He Might Lose His Voice Forever

The recent scare also reminded some fans of another frightening chapter in Richie’s life. During the 1990s, he developed a mysterious illness that affected his vocal cords and underwent four separate surgeries before doctors determined that diet-induced acid reflux was causing the problem.

In an interview with People, the singer later recalled that period as being “about as close as you ever would’ve come to a nervous breakdown” because he worried he might never sing again. “You don’t want anybody fooling around down there. This is your identity,” Richie said, adding, “I never really thought that it would end.”

For now, fans appear relieved that Richie was hospitalized as a precaution and encouraged to rest, while many wait for confirmation of when the Sing A Song All Night Long Tour will resume.

Phil Collins’ Son Matthew, 21, Sparks Buzz as His Dad’s Double, Yet He Chose a Life Outside Showbiz – Photos

Most of Phil Collins’ children followed him into the spotlight in one way or another. His youngest son, however, made a very different choice — and while he has largely stayed out of the public eye, photos of the two of them together tell their own story. Keep reading to see them.

On 6 April 2026, Matthew Collins, a rising footballer, took to Instagram to share a warm, close-up photo of himself alongside his father, music icon Phil Collins, capturing a rare and intimate family moment.

In the image, the pair leaned in shoulder to shoulder, both smiling softly at the camera, their resemblance immediately striking. Matthew, dressed casually in a rust-coloured sweatshirt, mirrored his father’s relaxed demeanour, while Phil, wearing glasses and a pale blue polo shirt, appeared content and at ease.

“The best of surprises. ❤️,” the caption read. Away from the post itself, the visual likeness between father and son has not gone unnoticed, with many pointing out just how closely Matthew resembles the Genesis legend.

“Double of his dad,” one person said, while another added, “And he is very handsome like his father ❤️.” A separate comment read, “He could be his grand dad [sic],” reflecting the ongoing conversation about their striking resemblance.

Supportive remarks also turned towards Phil’s wellb-eing and presence, with one person sharing, “So glad Phil felt well enough to go to his game!🥰 Keep fighting Phil! 🥰,” while another weighed in on Matthew’s career path, writing, “Footballer, what about to be a big drummer like his father [sic].”

Despite the natural comparisons and expectations that come with being the son of a global music figure, Matthew has notably carved out a path entirely his own. Phil has five children, and nearly all of them have built their careers in entertainment, with Matthew being the one exception.

Joely Collins, Phil’s eldest child, was adopted in 1975, the year he married her mother, Andrea Bertorelli. Raised in Canada, Joely built a career as both an actress and producer.

She appeared in the television series “Madison” and “Cold Squad” before producing the 2012 feature film “Becoming Redwood.” Joely also founded her own production company, StoryLab Productions, in 2009.

Simon Collins, born 14 September 1976, is Phil and Andrea’s eldest biological son. He spent his early childhood in London before moving to Vancouver at the age of eight, and like his father, took up the drums at a young age before expanding to the piano and writing his own material.

At just 12, Simon was already performing alongside Phil, playing drums on the hit single “Easy Lover.” He went on to release his debut album, “All of Who You Are,” through Warner Music in 2000, and in 2012, co-founded the band Sound of Contact in Vancouver.

Of all Phil’s children, arguably none has drawn more widespread recognition than Lily Collins, his daughter with second wife Jill Tavelman. Lily first appeared on screen at the age of two in the BBC series “Growing Pains,” and 18 years later joined the cast of the US teen drama “90210.”

A supporting role in the 2009 film “The Blind Side” alongside Sandra Bullock opened further doors, and she later earned a Golden Globe nomination for Best Actress for the 2016 romantic comedy “Rules Don’t Apply.”

Nicholas Collins, Phil’s son with third wife Orianne Cevey, inherited the family’s passion for percussion early. He began playing the drums at the age of two, and after impressing Genesis members at a charity event, joined the band on their 2019 world tour.

And then there is Matthew, also Phil and Orianne’s son, and the one who chose an entirely different path. He began his career with Hannover’s under-19s before signing with Austrian club WSG Tirol in 2023, initially joining their reserve side, WSG Tirol Juniors, who compete in the fourth division.

The club’s manager later confirmed they had no idea who Matthew’s father was when they were deciding whether to sign him.

What the manager did not know, and what fans online could not stop pointing out, is that Matthew carries his father’s legacy in the most visible way possible. He may have traded the stage for the pitch, but one look at the photos below makes clear that some things simply cannot be left behind.

For those who have been following Phil’s journey in recent years, seeing him turn up at his son’s match will have meant something as the Genesis legend has been open about the significant health challenges he has faced.

Phil has offered a rare and deeply personal update on his health, revealing the extent of the challenges he has faced in recent years.

In a new interview with BBC Two’s Zoe Ball, the 74-year-old musician discussed his ongoing medical issues, including multiple surgeries, complications from alcohol use, and a series of chronic ailments that have left him needing round-the-clock care.

The exclusive interview forms part of “BBC Eras: Phil Collins,” a five-part podcast and television special that traces Phil’s six-decade career through music, memory, and candid reflection.

The first four episodes, featuring rare BBC archive footage and interviews with those closest to him, were released on January 19, 2026, with the final episode — “In Conversation” with Ball — set to air on January 26, 2026.

Phil, who rose from a West London stage school to become one of the best-selling artists of all time, did not shy away from detailing his health struggles.

“It’s an ongoing thing,” he told Ball. “I have a 24 hour live-in nurse, to make sure I take my medication as I should do. I’ve had challenges with my knee — I had everything that could go wrong with me did go wrong with me.”

“You know, I mean, I got COVID in hospital, my kidneys started to back up, you know, everything that start, that could all seemed to sort of converge at the same time,” he continued.

He went on to reveal that he had undergone five knee operations. “Now I’ve got a knee that works and I can walk, albeit with assistance, you know, crutches or whatever,” he added.

The problems date back nearly 20 years. In 2007, Phil suffered a spinal injury that led to severe nerve damage and later developed drop foot, a condition that has made walking difficult.

Following surgery on his back, he experienced a further decline in mobility and retired from performing after Genesis concluded their final tour in 2022. Throughout the tour, he performed seated, with his son handling the drums.

Alcohol compounded his issues. “I’d probably been drinking too much, and so my kidneys were messed up, you know,” Phil said. “I enjoyed coming off tour. Coming off the road, but I thought, right, I’m gonna do all those things that I couldn’t do.”

Despite not drinking to excess at night, he explained, “I’d drink during the day, but I guess I had too much of it. I was never drunk, although I fell over a couple of times. But it is just one of those things that happened and it all caught up with me and I spent months in hospital.”

He has now celebrated two years of sobriety. In addition to his past injuries and kidney troubles, Phil suffers from type 2 diabetes — yet despite all this, Ball encouraged him to consider returning to the studio.

Though he previously stated he had no plans to record again, he hinted that his creative spark had not entirely gone. “I’ve got some things that are half formed or were never finished, and a couple of things that were finished, which I like, so you know. Maybe life in the old dog. Yeah. You’ll see,” he teased.

Ball, a lifelong fan, described the interview as a dream come true. “Phil Collins’s music is woven into all our lives, those songs are time machines, full of heart, drama and joy,” she shared.

“To dive into his extraordinary story for ‘Eras’ and sit down with him again for such a special, intimate conversation about music, family and everything in between is an absolute dream,” the interviewer added.

The podcast is available on BBC Sounds and promises a deep dive into the highs, lows, and legacy of one of Britain’s most successful musicians — a man whose work defined the 1980s and beyond, selling over 100 million albums globally.

As news of his health update spread, tributes and messages poured in across social media. “One of the greatest to ever do it. Terrible what he has to go through 😞,” commented one person.

Another typed, “Noooo my absolute favorite artist 💔,” while a different netizen said, “Not Phil too.” Others offered words of support and concern, with one writing, “So sad for Phil, he is one of the greatests musician out there. Hope he recoger for the issues [sic].”

While Phil Collins’s legacy remains intact, his influence undiminished — his story, as this new series makes clear, is one not just of success, but of resilience in the face of extraordinary adversity.

Gemma Collins, 45, Ignites Buzz after Dramatic Reaction to Extreme Jungle Trial on New Episode of ‘I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here!’ – Photos

What began as a test of endurance soon spiralled into chaos. The tasks grew more demanding and unpredictable, pushing limits and sparking a moment that quickly set viewers talking.

Gemma Collins’s latest Bushtucker Trial pushed her to the brink, delivering one of the most intense and talked-about moments in the current series of “I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! South Africa.”

The 45-year-old reached her breaking point during a gruelling overnight trial on the ITV series, competing against fellow contestant Scarlett Moffatt across three relentless underground challenges.

The pair went head-to-head for gold nuggets to bring back to camp, but what unfolded had fans reaching for their keyboards before the episode had even finished.

What began as a test of endurance escalated into a multi-stage ordeal involving insects, forceful blasts of unknown substances, and physically demanding tasks deep within a mock coal mine setting.

In the opening round, Collins and Moffatt were required to grip onto overhead straps while maintaining their composure as ants crawled across their bodies. The situation intensified when a powerful jet of liquid unexpectedly blasted towards them.

The force appeared to overwhelm Collins, snapping her grip and knocking her backwards in a moment that proved decisive. Despite her visible effort to hold on, she conceded defeat, telling Moffatt — who secured three gold nuggets from the round:

“Oh, forget it. You’ve won.”

The second challenge shifted underground, where both contestants were instructed via intercom to retrieve gold nuggets buried within piles of coal, navigating through restrictive barbed wire.

The environment became increasingly hostile as bursts of smoke erupted without warning, obscuring vision and adding pressure. Collins regained momentum here, securing eight nuggets, while Moffatt collected six, bringing her running total to nine.

Their final task placed them face-to-face with a series of enclosed boxes filled with live animals, including rats, scorpions, iguanas, cockroaches, and frogs. Hidden among them were more gold nuggets, forcing both women to confront their fears head-on.

As if that were not enough, opening some boxes triggered sudden eruptions of thick, slimy liquid that splashed across their faces and clothing. By the end, Collins had clawed her way back to a total of 16 nuggets, but Moffatt ultimately triumphed with 20.

The aftermath proved just as dramatic. Upon returning to camp, Collins appeared emotionally overwhelmed, breaking down during a confessional. She said tearfully, capturing the toll the trial had taken:

“I feel like you’re trying to kill me. You’re gonna kill me. It’s, like, not even funny. I definitely feel like you’re trying to kill me.”

The scenes quickly sparked a wave of reaction online, with many rushing to defend Collins’s performance. One person said, “Ridiculous. The objective of the first round was to hold on for dear life and Gemma did.”

“Her straps broke coz [sic] the girl was holding on for dear life. The force of that literally knocked her off her feet @itv @imacelebrity #justiceforgemma,” they added.

Another shared, “Still holding onto her straps that broke!! Makes me think that was done on purpose by itv to make a mockery of Gemma! ‘Good tv’ and all that. Not impressed. Well done Gemma you’re doing AMAZING!! ❤️”

Support for Collins’s resilience continued, with one netizen commenting that the force which caused the straps to break did not seem right and praising her strength, adding that many others would likely have quit under the same pressure. Others responded more emotionally, with one writing, “I want to hug her.”

However, not all reactions were sympathetic. One commenter offered a more critical take, typing, “Gemma, I feel her pain. Oh, the rich life! The spoiled life! She so used to be waited on sitting around clicking her fingers, getting everything done for her.”

“Now she living the poor life, the pain of it all is making her really believe that they trying to kill her. Because that something she not uses to is….walking. And that why she can’t stop crying [sic],” they continued.

Whether viewed as a moment of vulnerability or controversy, Collins’s reaction has undeniably become one of the defining talking points of the series so far, highlighting both the physical intensity of the trials and the emotional strain placed on contestants.

That reaction, however, was not the first time Collins had found herself at the centre of attention in this series — with her earlier arrival in camp already sparking conversation for very different reasons.

The television personality made her debut in the South Africa camp during the second episode of “I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! South Africa,” and was thrown straight into a head-to-head eating trial with fellow new arrival Craig Charles by hosts Anthony McPartlin and Declan Donnelly.

Seven rounds of increasingly challenging “delicacies” stood between the pair and dinner for their campmates.

The trial opened with Critter Canapés — blended ants’ eggs piped onto critter pastry crackers. Both contestants had to secretly choose how many they could eat, with the higher number committed to finishing the full count.

Collins pledged eight crackers and Charles pledged seven, meaning the former had to eat every single one to claim the points for her team. She gagged and cried through all of them, but still finished.

Round two brought cocktail sausages made from bull’s penis. Charles pledged ten portions and Collins pledged five, so he took on the full ten for his team. He powered through and won every point.

Round three was Terror-ine — chicken hearts and intestines. Charles chose three portions and Collins chose two. He attempted all three but could not finish, and Collins, needing only two portions to claim her points, also could not manage it.

Fish Eye Pie arrived in round four — critter pastry filled with fish eyes. Both chose one piece each before being offered a bonus point for a second. Collins said no, Charles said yes, and he finished it.

Round five, Brain Freeze made from springbok brain, produced the trial’s most memorable exchange. When offered a bonus point for a second portion, Collins agreed and Charles did not.

But in the end, the television personality just could not keep it down. The round ultimately ended in a forfeit, with the 45-year-old declaring, “Sorry. I can’t. I’m going to be hospitalised.” Charles was then offered the same bonus point for his single portion, but he declined.

Round six was Pig Nodies, made from pig testicles. Collins pledged two portions and Charles stopped at one. This time, she delivered on both and claimed the points.

Then came the finale. Bloody Mury shots, a blend of bull’s heart and blood, started with both contestants choosing ten portions each. The numbers crept steadily upwards as neither backed down, until Collins declared she would down the entire tray of 30.

Charles matched her without hesitation, turning the round into a flat race against the clock, with 30 points for whoever got there first. However, viewers will have to return for the next episode to find out who won.

Still, fans watching at home were quick to respond, and the praise came immediately. “Well done Gemma, I’d be sick if I tried that, you’re a star!” one viewer wrote, while others seemed taken aback.

“Like a different lady .. so impressed [sic],” one commented, while another added, “She’s like a different person.”

The price of appearing on such a trial also inspired some reflection. “I could NEVER do eating trials unless I got paid more than 5 million pounds,” one viewer shared, which felt entirely reasonable given the menu.

Several viewers also took notice of Gemma Collins’s appearance on screen. “Thought Gemma had lost a lot of weight,” one wrote, while another typed, “Thought she had lost alot of weight she won’t last [sic].”

A third jumped in with some context, noting, “I thought the same but this was last year so maybe she has since this was filmed.”

As for what comes next in camp, at least one viewer was already weighing what lies ahead. “Hard to imagine GC doing any physical tasks or ones with height involved ..but she my surprise us all… [sic],” they added.

Whatever the next episode holds, the trial itself needs to be seen to be believed. Scroll down for a full look at the action as it unfolded, straight from the South African bush.

Gemma Collins Debuts New Hairstyle amid Continued Weight Loss

Fans were left doing a double take — and some barely recognised her.

Gemma Collins, 45, unveiled a stunning new look over the weekend that sent Instagram into meltdown, as the media personality traded her signature long blonde tresses for a dramatic short bob — and the internet simply couldn’t cope.

On Sunday, 2 March, Collins uploaded a candid selfie that showed off her fresh shoulder-length cut, swept stylishly to the side. She paired the sleek new ‘do with a hot pink sweater and lipstick to match, topping off the bold look with dark purple tinted sunglasses. The result? A bold, glamorous vibe with a punch of mid-winter summer energy.

“Pink and sun feels like a whole mood… 🩷💛,” she captioned the post, before adding in true GC fashion, “People love pink + sun because it feels like ✨ new beginnings ✨ soft confidence ✨ summer even in winter ✨ main-character moment.”

Fans flooded the comments in seconds.

“Love your hair makes you look so much younger 🥰,” one follower gushed. “Hot 🔥🔥🔥,” added another. “Unreal 😍,” raved a third. And the compliments didn’t stop there.

“Oh wow! This is a look😍🔥💖✨ you look phenomenal! Pink to make the boys wink 😉,” one cheeky commenter teased, while others admitted they barely recognised the “TOWIE” alum.

“Who is this?” one netizen asked bluntly. “Stunning, I didn’t recognise u x x,” added another.

But while fans marvelled at her bold new aesthetic, Collins’ glow-up arrives just three months after she revealed a much darker chapter in her health journey — one that left her in “excruciating” pain and forced her to briefly pause the controversial weight-loss injection Mounjaro, a drug originally designed to treat type 2 diabetes.

The star, who’s gone from a size 26 to a 20 since beginning the jab more than a year ago, revealed she “fell to the floor” in agony while celebrating fiancé Rami Hawash’s birthday at a race track. A medical scan later uncovered that Collins had developed gallstones, a side effect increasingly linked to the drug’s use.

“I had to stop the jabs for a bit because I had a gallbladder attack in August, but they’ve [my doctors at Yazen] assured me that it’s not actually linked to Mounjaro,” she told The Mirror in November.

“I’ve given it a rest and I’ve really been managing what I’ve been eating. But I think I’m going to start microdosing because I feel with the microdosing, you don’t get all the [side] effects.”

Despite the scare, Gemma remains vocal in her praise of Mounjaro, calling it “life-changing”. She’s not aiming to be “stick thin,” but rather focused on reclaiming her health and losing six stone from her heaviest weight.

“I’m never going to look stick thin. I don’t want to look stick thin. It’s not who I am. But it’s about being healthier. So it’s all going in the right direction,” she added.

Though hailed as the poster girl for curvy confidence, Collins has long been open about her struggle with weight. Diagnosed with polycystic ovary syndrome at 28, the former “TOWIE” star once tipped the scales at over 23 stone, wearing a size 26.

But everything changed in November 2024, when she began taking the NHS-approved Mounjaro weight loss injections. The results? More than three stone shed by October 2025.

And for Collins, this wasn’t just about appearance — it was liberation.

“For me, taking the jab is more about helping me not to fixate on food,” she explained. “I actually only eat once a day now and don’t snack. I used to fascinate about food all day, but now it’s not a major player in my life anymore, I’ve forgotten all about it.”

She added, “If I get a bit hungry, I’ll have something to eat, but it’s just about making smarter choices.”

While her body is changing, her mindset is stronger than ever.

Collins is adamant that she’s not chasing skinny. Why? It doesn’t align with her brand.

“I’ve become successful being who I am and I’m not going to change that for anyone. I’m really not,” she said. “God’s made me as I am and now I just embrace my natural body size. I love my hips. I love my curves. I’m never going to be thin and I’ve made peace with that. Everyone needs to accept it.”

Josie Gibson, 41, Stuns Viewers with Her ‘New Face’ — Sparks Buzz Over the Difference, Before-and-After Photos

She recently sat down on the “This Morning” sofa, ready to talk television, clutter, and a career that is busier than ever. But it has been something else entirely that has had viewers reaching for the comments section.

Josie Gibson returned to daytime television on 13 April 2026, appearing on “This Morning” where she spoke candidly about her packed schedule and latest ventures — but it was her appearance that quickly became the real talking point online.

During the segment, the 41-year-old presenter reflected on being one of the most in-demand faces on television, juggling two shows while launching a new project aimed at helping households declutter and make money from unused items.

Gibson offered practical advice to viewers, explaining how everyday belongings could be turned into profit, all while maintaining her trademark warmth and humour.

On-screen, the television personality appeared poised and polished, wearing a structured dark jacket with gold-button detailing, her blonde hair styled in soft layers around her face.

The setting — a bright studio backdrop with greenery and cityscape views — framed her as she spoke confidently about transforming clutter into cash.

However, not all reactions were negative as a wave of supportive comments also emerged.

Yet away from the studio discussion, attention shifted rapidly online, where viewers began dissecting what many described as a “new” look following her return to television and recent social media posts.

One person commented, “Cheeks look odd…fillers, her personality and natural beauty out weighs doing this to herself [sic],” while another wrote, “Different face didn’t recognise her, thought she was Carol Malone [sic].”

A third added, “Looks like a mask,” and someone else remarked, “Your face looks different.” Others were more direct in their criticism, with one netizen stating, “Don’t even look like you anymore 😕,” while another shared, “The new face has spoilt you why change beauty [sic].”

However, not all reactions were negative as a wave of supportive comments also emerged. One admirer wrote, “You’re looking younger and more attractive than ever 💕.” Another added, “You look HOT mate 😍🥵,” while a third praised, “The most gorgeous face on tv..and the Hammond of course [sic]! 🔥.”

The mixed response highlighted the ongoing scrutiny faced by television personalities, particularly when it comes to appearance. While some viewers focused on perceived changes, others were quick to celebrate Josie Gibson’s confidence and continued success on screen.

That scrutiny, however, is not new territory for the television personality. Beyond the headlines about her appearance, the presenter has long been open about the pressures surrounding her body, health, and self-image.

In a deeply personal Instagram post shared on 9 January 2026, the TV darling opened up about the painful reason behind her years of battling weight. And it wasn’t just bad habits — it was something far more complex, hidden beneath the surface.

‘Fighting My Genetics’ – Gibson’s Silent Struggle with Lipedema

Sharing footage of her gym circuit, Gibson confessed her emotional uphill battle. “Hope this inspires someone out there,” she wrote modestly. “Not that I think I’m an inspiration.”

But she is, especially after bravely revealing her little-known medical condition — lipedema, a fat disorder that causes disproportionate fat storage and chronic pain, most commonly in women.

“The fight is real as my body retains fat unlike a normal body should,” she explained. “I have not shared because I thought it looked pretty obvious anyway.”

Despite this daunting diagnosis, Gibson has thrown herself into fitness with a renewed purpose. “Gyms can be intimidating sometimes but we are all there for the same reason,” she added. “And I love getting stuck into my own little circuits.”

Flood of Support From Fans With the Same Condition

The post ignited a heartfelt wave of messages from fans — especially those silently suffering from lipedema too. “You look fantastic! 😍 I have it too… it’s a constant battle, isn’t it? Lymph drainage exercises and anti-inflammatory diet help me so much,” one person wrote.

Another offered a virtual embrace, “As a lipodema lady myself, I know how hard it is lovely. Well done for trying hard xxx ❤️❤️❤️.” And one fan echoed what so many were thinking, “Love this for you. You are a massive inspiration… Josie you are looking fabulous. Best of luck with your continued empowerment 🙌🙌 really lovely of you to share.”

From Champagne and Gout… to Spam and Success

Gibson’s transformation didn’t happen overnight — or without sacrifices. In late 2025, she fronted her Channel 5 documentary, “The 1970s Diet: Could It Work for You?” exploring whether the retro eating habits of boiled potatoes, liver, beans, and Angel Delight could work in today’s world.

The results? Astonishing. Within just three months, the television personality lost an eye-watering five stone!

Speaking to HELLO!, personal trainer Monty Simmons applauded her efforts. “I really respect what Josie’s done,” Simmons said. “[…] Losing five stone is no easy feat, it requires a huge amount of dedication.”

“It’s admirable that she’s done it without weight-loss jabs,” he added. “You need to find what works for you — and this clearly did the job.”

But Gibson’s road to health hasn’t been smooth. Just before the diet documentary, she underwent a health MOT following her globetrotting series “Around the World in First Class.” The diagnosis? Gout.

“I kept saying to the nurse, ‘My toes keep hurting,'” she recalled to The Mirror in April 2025. “I thought gout was only for old men but I have been living quite a lavish life.”

“Before I filmed [‘The 1970s Diet’], I caught a lot of flights, I drank a lot of champagne, I ate a lot of rich food and I had little sleep. That’s how I ended up getting gout.”

That jet-set life came crashing down when she swapped luxury for liver and spam. “I’ve come from one extreme to the other,” she joked. “I went from living my finest life ever to being brought down to earth with a bang.”

Her Body Was 48 Percent Fat — But Doctors Called Her Supremely Fit

With the help of a dedicated nutritionist, Gibson committed to a rigid ’70s-style meal plan, built around smaller portions and no-frills foods. At the start of her journey, she tipped the scales at 16 stone, with a staggering 48 percent body fat.

And yet — in a revelation that shocked even her — she was told she was still in supreme fitness condition. And by the time she sat down for her post-diet interview, her gout had miraculously vanished.

“As soon as I stopped catching all the flights and started drinking a bit more water and less champagne, it leveled itself out,” she explained.

From Size 22 to Size 8 – But It Came at a Price

Gibson’s battle with the scale has been relentless and raw. Over the years, she’s bounced between a size 8 and a size 22, watching her body change dramatically — but not always for the better.

In 2016, she slimmed from a size 20 to a size 8 by ditching takeaways and processed meals, replacing them with lean meats, fresh vegetables, and fruit.

But with the physical change came an unexpected emotional void. “I lost my personality when I lost the weight,” she confessed at the time. “I’ve always been funny, but I hadn’t realised I used to crack jokes about being big. So all of a sudden I just didn’t have anything to say.”

Though she looked and felt better than she had in years, Gibson admitted the fear of regaining weight never really went away.

“I do things now that would be unthinkable when I was big!” she said. “I do get ‘fat fear’ and weigh myself every morning as I’m so scared about putting the weight back on.” And while critics called the habit unhealthy, Gibson was unapologetic. “People say it’s unhealthy, but it keeps me on track,” she declared.

From Big Brother to the Big Time

Gibson’s story of transformation began long before the gym videos and documentaries. She rose to fame on “Big Brother” in 2010, winning with a record-breaking 77.5 percent of the public vote.

She’s since released two fitness DVDs, appeared on “I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!” in 2023, and landed her coveted role on “This Morning,” co-hosting alongside the likes of Rylan Clark and Craig Doyle.

Now, at 40, she’s embracing her age with the same charm that made her a household name. “I still feel like I’m 25. Well, my personality says 25, but my body says 55,” she joked last October. “My life has just got better and better, so I try to embrace each year because I feel so lucky. I see ageing as a privilege.”

Coleen Nolan’s New Look Sparks Buzz Among Fans

After years of silently battling the scales, the beloved ITV presenter has stunned fans with her jaw-dropping transformation. Keep reading to witness her incredible evolution through the years.

“Loose Women” star Coleen Nolan, who has long spoken openly about her turbulent relationship with her weight, is now beaming with confidence and radiating health — and her latest Instagram post proves it.

On Wednesday, 11 February, Nolan shared a glowing snap ahead of her appearance on “Loose Women”, sending fans into a frenzy.

In the chic snapshot, the longtime TV darling gazed confidently into the camera, styled to perfection. Her shoulder-length brunette hair was styled in loose, voluminous curls, with soft bangs framing her face. She donned a sleek dark pinstripe blazer over a cosy grey top, exuding understated glamour.

Accessorising with silver hoops and a classic wristwatch, Nolan completed her look with glowing natural makeup, bold lashes, and a warm lipstick hue that made her smile absolutely pop.

“Today’s Loose Women look 💋,” she captioned the post. “Hope everyone is having a great week ❤️.” But it wasn’t just her outfit that had fans talking. Compliments flooded in, with some left staggered by how different she — and stunning — looked.

“Wow look at you, how did you lose all that weight? You look absolutely gorgeous 😍 well done Colleen ❤️,” one wrote. “You look fab so slim well done Colleen you deserve the best. Your such a nice lady ❤️❤️ [sic],” gushed another.

“Looking phenomenal ❤️❤️,” a third chimed in, while another fan added, “Years younger.”

But it wasn’t all flattery — some followers were desperate to know the secret behind her slim figure.

“You look like you have lost weight, are you on the jabs?” one asked, while another commented, “You look absolutely fab! Well done for promoting the jabs. The weight battle is real & ruins your life but some people don’t understand it ❤️.”

Though Nolan had previously spoken out against using weight loss medication, in October last year, she revealed a surprising change of heart — announcing a new partnership with weight loss injection company Voy.

Voy offers clinical support and coaching for weight loss, including the use of Mounjaro, Wygovy, and Orlos.

Now, four months after beginning her journey, Nolan has been confidently flaunting her new figure on social media — empowered, energised, and utterly transformed.

Her dramatic shift came just over a year after receiving a terrifying pre-diabetes diagnosis.

Speaking candidly on “Loose Women” in March 2024, she admitted she had been struggling with crippling fatigue that left her constantly exhausted — no matter how much she slept.

Initially dismissed as menopause symptoms by those around her, Nolan revealed she only sought medical help when she began nodding off throughout the day.

Blood tests initially showed only a vitamin D deficiency — but a later call from a diabetic specialist delivered a gut-wrenching blow: she was on the brink of type 2 diabetes.

The news, which she called “quite alarming”, spurred her into action. She learned that type 2 diabetes can be reversed through diet and lifestyle changes — and from that moment on, she never looked back.

“I finally feel I’m taking control of my health in a way that’s right for me, and that allows me to enjoy life with my family,” she shared.

Now feeling stronger and more confident than ever, Nolan has revealed she’s not just focusing on her health — she’s looking for love in her 60s.

Appearing on “This Morning”, she shared that she’s back in the dating scene, although her recent outings haven’t led to anything serious just yet.

“You know, a couple of the dates I went on, they were such lovely guys, but a. they live miles away and b., they didn’t like animals. And I thought, well, as much as we’re having a lovely date now, that’s not going to work on the outside,” she confessed.

Still, ever the optimist, Nolan says she’s not giving up hope — more dates are on the cards, and she’s determined to find her person.

In the meantime, scroll down to see how the TV darling has evolved through the years.

As more of the outfit comes into view, the design begins to reveal its full shape. In the wider view, Serena revealed the dress’s fitted shape through the bodice and hips.

The asymmetrical hemline begins to emerge, hinting at a bolder cut, while the sequins shimmer throughout the look. Her black pointed heels and soft waves balance the boldness, keeping the overall styling refined.

The Full Reveal: Where the Drama Hits

And then comes the full view — the moment that brings the entire look into focus. The red sequined mini dress is fully revealed, featuring a dramatic high slit and a longer trailing panel at the back. The combination of the high neckline and bold cut creates a look that is both structured and striking.

Minimal accessories ensure the focus stays on the dress — and the statement it makes. She appeared confident and at ease — but online, opinions began to split quickly.

The Internet Weighs In: Divided and Loud

As the images spread across social media, reactions ranged from admiration to sharp critique. One commenter wrote, “The dress isn’t tailored properly to her body.” Another added, “That designer was a little scissors happy, that cut if too deep At the back [sic].”

Others focused on the design itself, with one saying, “Well…there is a way to gracefully get out of a vehicle without showing the underwear. Also, the dress is beautiful however, the design exposes too much,” while another questioned, “Why? Why do people wear dresses that make them so uncomfortable [sic].”

Another person speculated, “Did she gain the weight back she lost [sic].” Still, praise came just as quickly. One fan declared, “This is the perfect weight!!” while another defended her look, writing, “And people said she was too skinny. I see muscular curves.”

The divide remained clear, with comments like “This is not a proper dress for her body” and “This dress is not suitable for her body type. 😏😏😏😏” contrasting sharply with a simple yet strong “She’s gorgeous.”

One Thing’s Certain: Everyone Was Watching

Whether loved or criticized, Serena’s look did exactly what a pre-Met Gala appearance should do — it got people talking. In a room full of fashion’s biggest names, standing out is no small feat. But with one shimmering, daring dress, Serena made sure the spotlight stayed firmly on her.

And as the conversation around her headline-making red carpet look continued to ripple online, it quickly became clear that this wasn’t the only time Serena Williams had everyone talking about her body — because just months earlier, the tennis icon had already set the internet ablaze with a completely different, equally buzzworthy set of photos.

On August 21, 2025, tennis legend Serena Williams, 43, brought the heat to Instagram with a carousel of photos showing her impressive physique in an eye-catching yellow swimsuit. Her widely-discussed post comes at a time when Williams opened up about her weight loss journey, and what helped her in an interview with People magazine.

The sun-soaked snapshots capture Williams fully immersed in relaxation bliss, striking playful and confident poses as she wades through crystal-clear waters under a stretch of dreamy blue sky.

One photo shows the Grand Slam champion smiling radiantly with one arm raised high, her oversized sunglasses and printed green scarf adding a stylish flair to her beach-day ensemble.

Another standout displays her in mid-motion, joyfully stretching her arms out as if dancing in the shallows. The bright yellow of her swimsuit pops against the water, radiating vibrancy and confidence.

Other images include more poised moments showing Williams with both hands on her hips in one and with a hand flared out in another. She paired the sun-drenched post with the caption, “melanin mellow-yellow ⚠️” — a subtle yet punchy nod to both her glow and unapologetic boldness.

The online response to Williams’s post was immediate and passionate. Her comment section, which was flooded with admiration, quickly became a celebration of her appearance. “You look good skinny [sic] great body 🙌🙌,” gushed one fan, while another praised, “Perfection 🔥 do you, you look phenomenal!”

Echoing the admiration, a fellow admirer exclaimed, “Wow!! Beautiful😍🙌,” as someone else raved, “Absolutely smashing it! What a body and shape 😍.”

However, not all feedback was entirely glowing. One person offered a mix of concern and praise, writing, “🔥🔥🔥But don’t lose anymore!” while another opined, “Looking too thin 😢.”

Others chose to focus on Williams’s determination and discipline, expressing admiration for her weight loss journey. “She said she was going to work on it and [sic] she did!! Like her so much🥰,” expressed one follower. “Congratulations on the success you had with your weight loss program!!” applauded another.

As some fans pointed out, the striking swimsuit photos mark a visible turning point in Serena Williams‘s personal journey.

Behind the radiant smiles and sunlit poses lies a deeper story of perseverance and self-discovery — one that the tennis icon recently opened up about in a candid interview with People. She revealed the health decision that finally helped her reclaim control over her body after years of postpartum struggles.

Her challenges began after the birth of her first daughter, Alexis Olympia Ohanian, Jr., in 2017. Despite following a strict fitness routine and maintaining a healthy lifestyle, Williams said her body simply didn’t respond the way it used to.

“I never was able to get to the weight I needed to be no [sic] matter what I did, no matter how much I trained,” she recalled. “It was crazy because I’d never been in a place like that in my life where I worked so hard, ate so healthy and could never get down to where I needed to be at [sic].”

For someone who had built a career on hard work and consistency, the lack of progress was particularly discouraging. “I had never taken shortcuts in my career and always worked really hard. I know what it takes to be the best,” Williams said.

She also expressed frustration at putting in so much effort without seeing results, an experience that challenged her usual sense of control over her body.

Williams’s challenges persisted after the birth of her second daughter in 2023. Still committed to a healthy routine, she eventually realized that her usual methods weren’t enough.

In early 2024, after she stopped breastfeeding, Williams decided to try a medical approach. She began using a GLP-1 medication prescribed through Ro, a direct-to-patient healthcare company. GLP-1 — short for glucagon-like peptide-1 receptor agonists — is a class of medications that helps regulate appetite by affecting satiety signals in the brain.

The 43-year-old ex-athlete admitted she was initially nervous about starting the medication, especially given the controversy surrounding GLP-1 treatments.

On the matter, Williams disclosed, “I did a lot of research on it. I was like, ‘is [sic] this a shortcut? What are the benefits? What are not the benefits?’ I really wanted to dive into it before I just did it.”

Once she felt confident moving forward, Williams connected with a doctor through Ro and began weekly injections. She found the process straightforward and said the ongoing support made it easy to stay consistent.

Now serving as a celebrity ambassador for the company, she credits the treatment with helping her lose weight. “I lost over 31 pounds using my GLP-1 and [sic] I was really excited about that weight loss,” she shared.

Beyond the physical change, Williams said the treatment improved her mobility. “I just can do more. I’m more active. My joints don’t hurt as much. I just feel like something as simple as just getting down is a lot easier for me. And I do it a lot faster,” she explained.

She also noted a positive shift in her overall well-being. “I feel great…I feel really good and healthy. I feel light physically and light mentally,” she expressed.

Body image is also something the former tennis pro takes seriously, especially as a mother to two daughters, with whom she said she has open conversations at home about self-worth.

“With me going through what I’ve went [sic] through growing up in public and just having millions of people commenting on my body, it’s really important to teach them to be confident at any size, just like I try to be,” she said.

The tennis sensation also reflected on how looking back at old photos — whether she was thinner or curvier — reminded her of how confident she had felt at the time.

“So I just think it’s so important to love who you are. You’ll never get that moment back. You don’t want to judge yourself when you’re just always showing up as your best,” Williams stated.

With her health improving, Williams intends to keep using the GLP-1 medication when necessary. She’s currently preparing for a half-marathon and staying dedicated to her regular gym sessions, which she considers a key part of her wellness routine.

From a headline-stealing red carpet moment to sun-soaked swimsuit snaps and a deeply personal wellness journey, Serena Williams continues to prove that whether she’s serving looks or opening up about her life, the world is always watching — and talking.

Alison Hammond Stuns Fans as She Shows Off Incredible 11-Stone Weight Loss in Mini Dress and Heels

The beloved TV host has left fans stunned, speechless and begging for more as she proudly shows off the results of her transformation in a string of sizzling new photos that have sent social media into meltdown. See at the end!

Alison Hammond, 51, is clearly living her best life — and she’s got the glow to prove it. In a series of glam snaps posted online, the “This Morning” star looked radiant and confident, her slimmer figure draped in a fitted black mini dress that hugged her in all the right places.

Sitting sideways in a sleek grey armchair, legs elegantly crossed and smile beaming, Hammond turned heads with every pixel.

With her hair cascading over her shoulders in soft waves and a slick of glossy nude lipstick, the Brummie beauty sealed the look with a killer pair of fiery red stilettos. She captioned the show-stopping post:

“High Heels, Bold Moves, Zero Apologies 👠.”

And the internet could barely contain itself.

“Look at Alison’s legs! Wow looking very slim 🔥,” gasped one fan. “Unreaaaaaaal 😍,” raved another. “Wow… speechless 🔥🔥🔥🔥❤️,” marvelled a third, echoing the thoughts of thousands.

More stunned admirers piled in. “Is this Alison?” one person asked. “Who’s that girl?! 🔥,” another wrote, while one simply shrieked, “Look at those legs!!!!! Yeeeeeessssssss 🔥🔥🔥.”

“Hot” wasn’t just an opinion — it was the overwhelming consensus.

Still, not every wellness fad gets her stamp of approval.

It’s no surprise fans are floored. Since bursting onto screens on “Big Brother” in 2002, Hammond has been a constant source of laughter, light and unapologetic energy. But behind that effervescent charm was a woman who — at one point weighing 28 stone — decided it was time to put herself first.

Determined to take control of her health, she joined forces with a personal trainer and committed to overhauling her nutrition. The journey hasn’t been about restriction, but about discovering what works for her — and that’s where reformer pilates entered the picture.

“I’ve just started doing reformer Pilates and oh my God, it’s so good,” she told Closer last month. “You feel absolutely incredible after it. I really need a good stretch — I’m stiff as a board — so reformer Pilates has been brilliant for me.”

Still, not every wellness fad gets her stamp of approval. “I did try one of those cold plunge pools once — and absolutely not!” she laughed.

But what truly sparked this new chapter wasn’t a fitness trend — it was grief. Hammond opened up to Good Housekeeping about the heartbreaking loss of her mother, who suffered from Type 2 diabetes. Her passing was a wake-up call Hammond couldn’t ignore — especially after she herself was diagnosed as pre-diabetic.

“My mum had Type 2 diabetes and she was worried for me, so when I then found out that I was pre-diabetic, that was frightening,” she said. “I thought, ‘I have to be an adult about this.’ The sweets had to stop – and the fatty foods.”

Through regular exercise and cutting down on sugar and fat, Hammond has since reversed her diagnosis. While she admits to still having insecurities about her arms and tummy, she has made peace with her body — and proudly loves her new figure.

Princess Charlotte, 11, Sparks Buzz Over Her Nails in Birthday Photo – How She’s Grown Up, 10+ Photos

Princess Charlotte turned 11 on 2 May 2026, and the internet had a lot to say about her striking new birthday portrait — including one very tiny, very blue detail. Scroll down and see it for yourself.

On Saturday, 2 May 2026, the Prince and Princess of Wales marked Princess Charlotte’s 11th birthday with a portrait that stopped royal watchers mid-scroll.

Captured by photographer Matt Porteous during an Easter family holiday in Cornwall, the image shows Charlotte standing in a field of white daisies, beaming at the camera with a confidence that belies her age.

She’s dressed casually but beautifully, wearing a navy and red striped jumper and blue jeans, with her long hair loose around her shoulders. The setting, lush and green with trees behind her, feels almost storybook. Almost, because this girl looks far too self-possessed for a fairytale.

The portrait was shared on the official Prince and Princess of Wales Instagram account, and the public’s response was immediate and overwhelming.

“My goodness is she Williams daughter! ❤️,” one viewer gushed. “Wow she’s an image of her Dad,” another agreed. “She has her mother’s hair and her father’s face 😍😍😍,” a third raved.

“She is a carbon copy of William 😮,” a fourth marvelled. “Prince William’s female version 😁,” echoed another, also seemingly delighted by this. The reactions just kept coming.

“HRH Princess Charlotte looks like Diana and William at the same age,” one viewer reflected with particular tenderness. “No one mentions her hair, but Lilly’s gets all the shade,” another noted pointedly, referencing Lilibet, Prince Harry and Meghan’s daughter.

Not everyone was focused on the family resemblance, though. Several fans were struck by something else entirely. “Wow she looks older than 11! So mature,” one viewer observed. “All grown up so fast!!! ❤️❤️❤️,” exclaimed another.

“Golly she looks so tall. Stunning photo 😍,” someone else gushed. And one commenter, perhaps summing up a feeling many couldn’t quite articulate, simply declared, “This girl is gonna rule the world!”

Then came the detail that truly set the comment section alight.

“I’m loving the blue nails!” one fan enthused. “Loving the pale blue nail polish! 🩵,” swooned another.

The Wales family also released a birthday video to mark the occasion, once again captured by Matt. The footage offers a glimpse into a recent family beach holiday in Cornwall — joyful, candid, unguarded.

In one moment, Charlotte cuddles a chocolate-brown spaniel aboard a boat; in another, she’s on the beach under a wide blue sky, hurling a red tennis ball with her whole body, hair flying, utterly carefree.

Just days earlier, on 29 April, William and Catherine had shared a family photo to mark their 15th wedding anniversary. The image shows the entire family lying together on a grassy hillside in a gorgeously relaxed tangle of limbs, laughter and sunshine, a far cry from the stiff formality royal family photos once demanded.

Look closely, and Charlotte’s pale blue nails are visible there too — a soft, pastel shade that is a quiet but meaningful departure from what royal women have traditionally worn.

Historically, the preference has gravitated towards barely-there pinks, nudes and soft whites — an aesthetic shaped largely by Queen Elizabeth II, who reportedly favoured Essie’s Ballet Slippers polish, though a former Buckingham Palace employee has since revealed the late monarch rarely wore polish at all in her later years, preferring simply buffed nails.

There is no formal rule banning bolder colours, but tradition has long made them feel somewhat off-limits. Charlotte’s ice-blue choice, worn so naturally and without fanfare, suggests that royal beauty standards — like the monarchy itself — are evolving. One polished fingertip at a time.

That spirit of quiet confidence is very much by design. Charlotte attends Lambrook prep school in Berkshire alongside her brothers — a deliberate departure from the single-sex boarding school tradition that once defined royal upbringings.

A palace insider described her as “quite a strong character — almost wise beyond her years”, while childrenswear designer Amaia Arrieta, who has met Charlotte on several occasions, notes that her composure is entirely authentic.

“It’s truly her personality — it’s not forced,” Arrieta has said. “She looks very confident and at ease with herself.”

On the football pitch, Charlotte is known for her grace and sportsmanship, often congratulating players on the opposing team. She loves ballet, tap and rugby. She reportedly keeps her brothers in line at official engagements — whispering reminders, nudging them at the right moments. At Queen Elizabeth’s funeral, she quietly told George when to bow.

Eleven, and already the glue. Scroll down and see how she has evolved over the years.
