The annual gala—widely known as the “Nerd Prom”—had been underway for only about 20 minutes after the president and first lady arrived when the dramatic incident unfolded. According to federal authorities, an armed man tried to force his way through a secured checkpoint and advance toward the main ballroom before being confronted by U.S. Secret Service agents.

Investigators identified the suspect as 31-year-old Cole Tomas Allen of Torrance, California, a teacher, video game developer, and California Institute of Technology (Caltech) graduate. Officials said Allen was carrying a shotgun, a handgun, and multiple knives when he rushed the security perimeter, setting off an immediate law enforcement response.

Secret Service agents intercepted the suspect inside the hotel lobby before he could reach the crowded ballroom. A violent struggle followed, during which gunfire erupted. One Secret Service agent was struck at close range, but officials said the agent’s ballistic vest prevented fatal injuries. The wounded officer was transported to a nearby hospital and was reported to be in stable condition. Allen sustained minor injuries before being taken into federal custody.

Within moments, security teams ordered a full evacuation of the venue as heavily armed officers swept the hotel to ensure there were no additional threats. Although organizers initially considered resuming the evening’s program, the White House Correspondents’ Association ultimately canceled the event, citing ongoing security concerns. Officials say the dinner is expected to be rescheduled with significantly enhanced security measures.

President Trump praised the swift actions of the Secret Service, crediting the agency with preventing what could have been a far more serious tragedy. He condemned the suspect’s actions and backed the decision to prioritize the safety of everyone in attendance.

Federal investigators have launched an extensive investigation into Allen’s background, possible motives, and recent activities. Authorities are searching his California residence and reviewing writings reportedly sent to family members shortly before the incident. Investigators currently believe Allen acted alone and have found no immediate evidence of a broader plot or continuing threat.

The attempted attack has intensified scrutiny of security procedures surrounding major political events in the nation’s capital, with officials expected to review how an armed suspect came so close to one of Washington’s most heavily protected annual gatherings.

What Models Amelia Gray and Delilah Belle Hamlin Might Look Like without Cosmetic Procedures, According to AI — Their Transformations in Photos

Amelia Gray and Delilah Belle Hamlin have grown up in front of cameras, and photos show how their appearances have evolved. AI offers another striking perspective.

The sisters’ changing looks have drawn commentary online and from cosmetic professionals. But what they have actually said about procedures tells a more complicated story.

Now, images tracing them from childhood to their modeling careers put those changes side by side. And an AI experiment offers a glimpse at an appearance that can never truly be known.

Growing Up in the Spotlight

Amelia and Delilah are the daughters of actor Harry Hamlin and “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” alum Lisa Rinna. Both eventually followed their famous parents into public careers.

Their childhood and teenage photographs captured them years before fashion campaigns and high-profile events became routine. Later images show both sisters developing the distinctive looks now familiar to their followers.

With that visibility has come speculation about whether cosmetic procedures played a role. For 28-year-old Delilah, however, the supplied sources do not establish that she has undergone facial plastic surgery.

Commentary about her appearance remains speculation rather than confirmation. Her smile offers one documented example of how her appearance has evolved over time.

Delilah’s Smile Didn’t Happen Overnight

A review of Delilah’s smile through the years by Lema Dental Clinic described a gradual evolution rather than a dramatic overnight transformation.

In photographs from 2014, when Delilah was still a teenager, the clinic described her teeth as having natural shapes and slight variations in color. It said there was nothing obvious at that stage to suggest whitening or reshaping.

By 2016, the clinic observed that her teeth appeared somewhat brighter. It suggested whitening or a more dedicated dental-care routine as possibilities, rather than presenting either as established fact.

The difference became more noticeable in 2019. According to the clinic’s assessment, Delilah’s teeth appeared whiter, more aligned, and more symmetrical, while retaining a natural appearance. The clinic noted that her smile did not show the extreme whiteness or uniformity often associated with obvious veneers.

By 2023, it described her teeth as brighter and more even, with cleaner-looking enamel and refined alignment. The clinic associated such a glossy appearance with regular whitening and polishing treatments but did not establish which, if any, procedures Delilah had undergone.

Photos from 2025 showed what the clinic considered the most polished stage of that progression. Her teeth appeared bright, smooth, and aligned while retaining individual variations.

Asked whether Delilah had likely whitened her teeth, the clinic said the increased brightness could point to professional whitening or enamel polishing. It also said smoother tooth edges could suggest minor contouring or bonding.

Veneers were another possibility it addressed, but with an important qualification. The clinic said that if Delilah has veneers, they appear to be minimal because her teeth do not have what it considered a typical veneer appearance.

In other words, the photographs may show refinement, but they do not establish exactly what produced it. The questions surrounding Amelia’s appearance are different because she has publicly confirmed several procedures herself.

Amelia Has Spoken about What She Changed

Amelia, 24, has addressed cosmetic-procedure speculation more directly, including one persistent question about her lips. Despite their fuller appearance in recent photographs, she has denied using lip filler.

“I’ve always had these lips,” Amelia said in January. She did disclose another injectable treatment. “I’m doing this thing right now called SkinVive, which is a moisturizer injection, not a filler.” Amelia has also been open about having a nose job.

Facial plastic surgeon Dr. Jeffrey Spiegel later examined changes in Amelia’s appearance in a social-media video. His comments were based on her appearance and should not be treated as confirmation of procedures beyond those Amelia has disclosed herself.

Looking at her nose, Spiegel said it appeared very slender and sculpted. He suggested that some of the visible detail could be associated with a prior rhinoplasty as skin thins and settles over the underlying structure.

In Amelia’s case, a previous rhinoplasty is not merely an expert guess: She has acknowledged having the procedure. Spiegel also commented that her lips appeared fuller. Amelia, however, has specifically said she has never used lip fillers, making the distinction between visual assessment and her own account important.

He additionally pointed to what he described as a strong masseter muscle, the jaw muscle used in chewing. He suggested Botox in that area and recommended discussing a night guard with a dentist if nighttime clenching were involved.

Those remarks were recommendations based on his visual assessment, not evidence that Amelia has received Botox in her jaw. Her confirmed history with cosmetic procedures extends beyond her face, and one experience became far more serious than an ordinary beauty decision.

A Piercing Led to a Medical Crisis

Amelia previously revealed that she underwent breast reduction surgery at 16 after developing a severe infection. She said the problem began at Coachella after a nipple piercing caught on something and created a small wound.

She also said she had been eating eggs and claimed that eating them could cause her to develop strep in her throat or elsewhere in her body. According to Amelia, the infection then reached her breast through the wound.

She recalled developing a 104-degree fever and mastitis in her left breast. Mastitis is inflammation of breast tissue and is most commonly associated with breastfeeding women. The swelling remained even after Amelia recovered from the infection.

She eventually underwent a medically necessary breast reduction, which was intended to prevent the situation from progressing to sepsis. She later described the ordeal as “the worst thing I’ve ever been through.” But that operation was not the end of her surgical history.

Her Later Breast Augmentation Had Serious Consequences

Amelia subsequently decided to undergo another breast augmentation after being left unhappy with scarring from the reduction. A relationship she had when she was younger also affected that choice.

That distinction becomes particularly important when looking at images of both sisters over many years. A photograph can document that someone’s appearance changed, but it cannot establish why. And that is also the key limitation behind the most unusual images in this comparison.

AI Imagines Them without Cosmetic Procedures

After years of childhood photographs, red-carpet appearances, modeling images, expert observations, and Amelia’s own disclosures, artificial intelligence provides a different kind of visual.

AI-generated images imagine what Amelia and Delilah might look like today without cosmetic procedures.

The results are not photographs of an alternate reality, nor can they establish exactly how either woman would have aged naturally. They are artificial depictions based on a hypothetical premise.

That caveat matters especially for Delilah. The supplied sources do not establish that she underwent the facial surgeries the hypothetical images remove, and dental experts have described the evolution of her smile largely in terms of subtle refinement.

For Amelia, there is more confirmed information to work from. She has acknowledged a nose job and SkinVive while firmly denying lip filler, in addition to discussing her breast surgeries.

Madonna Once Said She Didn’t Think She Was Beautiful — AI Now Imagines How She Might Have Aged Naturally — Photos

Madonna has reinvented her image for decades, but changes to her face have fueled a more personal debate over beauty, aging, and what might have been.

Doctors have offered theories, fans have scrutinized her appearance, and Madonna has challenged her critics. Now, AI imagines a different path for her face.

Social media users were among those who commented on Madonna's changing appearance, with some expressing concern and surprise over how she looked. | Source: Instagram/madonna

Long before Madonna became one of pop music’s most recognizable figures, she struggled with how she saw herself.

In a mid-1980s interview with actor Harry Dean Stanton, later republished by Interview magazine, Madonna spoke candidly about the insecurity she carried as a teenager. Before finding a sense of purpose, she said, she questioned both her appearance and her abilities.

“Before I started feeling devoted to dancing, I didn’t really like myself very much,” Madonna recalled. “I didn’t think I was beautiful or talented.”

She said she spent much of that period feeling that she did not fit in at school and resenting her parents’ authority. “I really had a lot of self-hatred,” she said.

Dance gave her a way to redirect those feelings. Madonna described herself as “unmolded clay” and said she gradually realized that work, discipline, and help from others could allow her to transform herself.

“When I started having a dream, and working toward that goal, having a sense of discipline, I started to really like myself for the first time,” she said.

That growing confidence became part of a broader outlook. Madonna told Stanton that she believed in herself because she had started as “a little girl from Michigan” with a dream, worked hard, and watched that dream become reality.

Born Madonna Louise Ciccone on August 16, 1958, in Bay City, Michigan, she moved to New York in 1978 and pursued dance, according to IMDb. She studied with choreographer Alvin Ailey and later joined the Patrick Hernandez Revue.

Her ambitions soon expanded into music. Madonna became involved with Breakfast Club and later worked with Stephen Bray on dance-oriented recordings. Producer and DJ Mark Kamins eventually passed her demos to Sire Records in early 1982.

The breakthrough that followed transformed the aspiring dancer into an international star. Through the 1980s, Madonna’s music, fashion, performances, and changing image made her one of the era’s most influential pop figures.

Reinvention became central to that public identity.

Experts Examined Madonna’s Face – and Saw Several Possible Changes

By October 2022, speculation about Madonna’s changing appearance had intensified. Page Six consulted three medical and aesthetic professionals, who compared photographs of the singer and offered their views on the cosmetic work she may have undergone.

Dr. Ehsan Ali, Dr. Ramtin Kassir, and physician associate Pamela Weinberger had not treated Madonna. Their assessments were based on photographs of the singer rather than firsthand knowledge of the procedures she may have undergone.

Ali believed several features pointed to possible cosmetic work.

“She for sure had a facelift,” Ali said. “You can see her skin is pulled back and tightened, with no loose skin and no wrinkles. A facelift also alters the shape of your eyes, which you can see in her image, her eyes seem ‘pulled back.'”

He also suspected that her nose had been surgically altered and believed Botox could explain the appearance of her forehead and the areas around her eyes and between her eyebrows.

Kassir independently focused on Madonna’s nose. He said it appeared unusually narrow, with a more pointed tip than in earlier photographs. But the nose was only one part of the change he believed he could see.

Her facial proportions also caught his attention. Kassir described Madonna’s overall facial shape as more exaggerated, with cheeks that appeared particularly high and full.

The fullness of her cheeks led Weinberger to a different part of the cosmetic discussion: filler.

She believed repeated filler treatments may have created excess volume in Madonna’s cheeks and temples. Too much filler, she explained, can begin to obscure the underlying structure of a person’s face rather than simply restore lost volume.

Ali also believed Madonna’s cheekbones looked “completely different” from when she was younger. He suspected filler had contributed to their more prominent appearance. The experts then moved beyond the center of her face.

Weinberger and Kassir both raised the possibility of a brow lift after examining Madonna’s brow and hairline. Weinberger also suggested Botox in the masseter muscles may have helped create a narrower appearance through the jaw.

Ali focused instead on the definition of Madonna’s lower face. He believed the sharpness of her jawline could be consistent with liposuction beneath the chin and a neck lift.

Kassir nevertheless believed the overall effect was significant. “Overall, she looks like she has taken plastic surgery and aesthetic procedures a little too far,” he said.

Then One Grammys Appearance Changed the Conversation

Madonna’s appearance at the 2023 Grammy Awards brought another surge of commentary about her face.

On X, one netizen wrote, “#GRAMMYs I really wish Madonna never touched her face. There really was no reason. She was going to age beautifully. She’s always been beautiful. #Stopplayingwithyallface #Grammys2023 #Madonna [sic]”

Another commenter connected the issue to Madonna’s history of challenging convention: “She could have redefined what growing older looks like as she redefined a lot of other things. Guess I was kinda hoping for some trailblazing here…”

Others questioned whether the public scrutiny itself was part of the problem. “I wonder if it has anything to do with the constant commentary on her appearance from people who should know better,” one user wrote.

Another remarked, “Such a shame!” A fifth commenter wrote, “It was pretty cruel of them to give comparison photos behind her. She really was aging well. It’s so sad she didn’t see it.”

The reaction continued on Instagram. “Noooo more stuff in the face please my sexy star since I was a Lil girl…..girls just wanna have fun. Please your already beautiful no more needle…no disrespect [sic],” one person wrote. Another asked, “So sad 😢 what happen to you?”

One commenter claimed, “This is so sad to see her looking this way, she’s had that much work done her eyes don’t move and she looks like she’s got zero movement in her face, come on Madge you once said you would never have plastic surgery what the hell happened, you don’t look good hun you look like a wax work.”

Another wrote, “Just horrific…why did she do this to herself. She looked better before.” A different user said, “She looks scary and I am going to have nightmares tonight…she was so beautiful, why would she do this to herself?!?!”

“You have ruined yourself. You dont even look like yourself[sic],” another wrote, while someone else commented, “Wow eyes give it away.”

One longer response suggested public pressure had played a role: “Daw, you really fell victim to the pressures of self and the public eye to where you’ve injected your face to the cheap standards of modern day sold expectations? 😢 I’d defend your right to freedom if only you remained free….”

Madonna Had a Very Different Explanation for Her Appearance

In a February 2023 Instagram post, Madonna said the fixation on her appearance had overshadowed the reason she was at the Grammys.

She had introduced Sam Smith and Kim Petras before their performance. Madonna described Petras’ appearance as a “History making moment!!” and said she wanted attention focused on artists willing to take risks.

Instead, she said, many people discussed close-up photographs of her taken with a long-lens camera that “Would distort anyone’s face!!”

“Once again I am caught in the glare of ageism and misogyny That permeates the world we live in,” Madonna wrote.

She argued that society refuses to celebrate women past 45 and instead punishes them when they remain “strong willed, hard-working and adventurous.”

Madonna also made clear that she did not intend to change her approach because of the criticism.

“I have never apologized for any of the creative choices I have made nor the way that I look or dress and I’m not going to start,” she wrote.

Days later, she addressed the attention with humor. In an X post, Madonna shared a photo of herself seated with her arms crossed. She wore a black cap, dark jacket, ripped jeans, and long orange braids.

“Look how cute i am now that swelling from surgery has gone down. Lol 😂,” she wrote.

Two Years Later, a Surgeon Noticed Something Had Changed

In May 2025, plastic surgeon Dr. Steven R. Cohen reviewed more recent images of Madonna following the Met Gala and compared them with her appearance roughly two years earlier.

“Two years ago, she looked overfilled,” Cohen said in a TikTok video. “Now, she looks normal.”

The difference led Cohen to consider what might have changed. He questioned whether some of Madonna’s filler had been reversed, but he also raised another possibility: weight loss associated with a medication such as Ozempic.

Cohen did not claim that Madonna had dissolved filler or used the drug. Instead, he presented both as possible explanations for the changes he believed he could see in photographs.

His attention then shifted to specific areas of her face. Cohen noted some hollowing around the upper and lower eyelids, along with extra skin and deeper nasolabial folds – the creases that extend from the sides of the nose toward the corners of the mouth.

Then, in August 2025, Page Six reported that Madonna may have been moving toward a less sculpted appearance.

An unnamed insider claimed her boyfriend, Akeem Morris, had encouraged her to move away from fillers and augmentations.

“She’s starting to listen to Akeem, who tells her she’s beautiful,” the source said. “She doesn’t normally listen to anyone but she does him.” According to the insider, Madonna wanted to “own being 67 rather than trying to look 27.”

The source said she was instead trying LED lights, oxygen facials, and lymphatic drainage. “Her face is so iconic that it needs to look like her,” the insider said. The source added that Madonna wanted her appearance to look “more natural,” “less sculpted,” and wanted her face “to move.”

Still, it raised a question that years of photographs and public debate cannot answer: What might Madonna look like now if her face had aged differently?

Taken together, the images offer a new way to view a face that has changed throughout Madonna’s decades in the public eye. They also add to a larger conversation about beauty, cosmetic choices, and growing older under constant scrutiny.

Madonna has often challenged that attention rather than avoided it. Years after speaking openly about learning to accept herself, she continues to push back against expectations about how women should look as they age.

According to Page Six, Gaga and her fiancé, Michael Polansky, recently became parents to their first child together.

The baby’s name, sex, and date of birth have not been disclosed. Gaga and her child were recently spotted together in Northern California, marking her first reported public outing with the baby.

The sighting came months after Gaga’s last reported public appearance. In August 2026, a fan shared an Instagram selfie after unexpectedly running into the singer in the Bay Area.

The Photos Drew Reactions on Social Media

On Facebook, the first photos sparked a range of reactions, with the baby’s appearance among the first things people discussed. “That’s the biggest newborn baby,” one netizen wrote.

Another reaction shifted attention to Gaga’s hand: “The ring is bigger than the baby 😆.” Another person observed, “That baby seems larger than a newborn to me…”

The jewelry also prompted questions about Gaga and Polansky’s relationship status. One viewer asked, “Dang look at the size of that rock on her finger !!! she married????”

On another Facebook discussion, attention shifted to Gaga’s appearance. “She already looks frazzled. Soon the nannies will appear,” one netizen remarked. Another reaction returned to the baby: “That’s the biggest newborn baby.”

In another discussion on the same platform, the baby’s undisclosed name inspired some wordplay.“I heard they named it GooGoo Gaga,” one participant joked, playing on the singer’s stage name. “Aww, baby GooGoo!” another chimed in.

The conversation then returned to the child’s apparent size, with one parent drawing on personal experience. “Huge new born. Can support it’s big head! I have given birth to a 10 pounder but that baby is bigger [sic]!” someone else wrote.

What We Know About Michael Polansky

Polansky has built a career across investing, technology, and life sciences. His LinkedIn profile describes him as a founder and investor based in San Francisco.

He has served as co-founder and CEO of Outer Biosciences since March 2022 and as founder and managing partner of Hawktail since January 2021. He is also a co-founder and board member of the Parker Institute for Cancer Immunotherapy.

His work also intersects with Gaga’s business interests. Polansky has served as a board member of Haus Labs by Lady Gaga since August 2024, according to his profile.

Before his current roles, Polansky spent more than 14 years as CEO of the Sean Parker Family Office, from September 2009 to December 2023. His profile lists him as a special adviser to the organization beginning in January 2024.

Polansky attended Harvard University from 2002 to 2006, where he studied applied mathematics and computer science.

Years before their engagement, a source told People that Gaga and Polansky had already developed a close partnership. “They almost act like a married couple already,” the source said in November 2021.

Lady Gaga Opened Up About Her Engagement to Michael Polansky

By October 2025, Gaga was speaking openly about her engagement to Polansky and the support she found in their relationship. During an interview with host Stephen Colbert on “The Late Show,” Gaga called Polansky her “best friend in the whole world.”

Gaga said the two met through her mother, who believed Polansky could be the man she would marry. When Gaga eventually met him, she said the connection was immediate.

“He always I think really saw me and I think I always really saw him,” Gaga said. “I felt that right away. And it was very powerful.”

She explained that their relationship also changed how she approached difficult periods in her life. Gaga said she had previously felt as though she was navigating things on her own, but no longer felt that way with Polansky by her side. “He just fights for me every day,” she said.

Polansky has also become part of Gaga’s creative life.

During the interview, she discussed working with him on “Mayhem,” for which he served as an executive producer and co-wrote songs. Gaga said working together felt natural and that Polansky could challenge her creatively in ways she could not challenge herself.

The conversation also turned to their engagement. Gaga said Polansky proposed after the couple went rock climbing in Utah, describing the occasion as the happiest day of her life.

“He proposed to me with a blade of grass,” she recalled.

The conversation eventually turned to what Gaga wanted next in her life. Her answer pointed to a goal she had discussed publicly for years.

Lady Gaga Had Long Hoped to Become a Mother

Gaga had spoken about wanting children years before becoming a mother. During a December 2019 YouTube video with NikkieTutorials, Gaga discussed her plans for the next decade, including more music, movies, expanding Haus Laboratories, and having children.

“I wanna have babies,” Gaga said.

Gaga spoke more extensively about motherhood in a 2020 interview with InStyle. “I will say I am very excited to have kids,” she said. “I look forward to being a mom.”

She continued, “Isn’t it incredible what we can do? We can hold a human inside and grow it. Then it comes out, and it’s our job to keep it alive. It’s so funny – everyone works out of my house every day. When they come in, I always say, ‘Welcome to the Womb!'”

By October 2025, motherhood remained one of Gaga’s personal goals. During her interview with host Stephen Colbert, she was asked about other things she wanted to pursue.

Her answer focused on the role she hoped would come next. “What I really want is to be a mom,” Gaga said. “That’s my next starring role, I hope.”

Gaga and Polansky Made Time for Their Baby

Gaga has now reached the personal milestone she had discussed for years. After welcoming their first child, she and Polansky reportedly set work aside to spend time with the baby.

A source told People that the couple “both took time off of work this summer to be with [the] baby.” The insider also described a change in Polansky since becoming a father.

“Michael seems lighter, happier,” the source added. According to the insider, the couple’s happiness also comes through when they discuss parenthood. “They both beam when they talk about being parents.”

Sass Jordan Dies Peacefully Surrounded by Family — What Her Loved Ones Shared in Their Final Tribute

Sass Jordan’s family announced her death with a deeply personal farewell that reflected the humor, fearlessness, and love they wanted people to remember.

The Canadian rock singer has died, weeks after she unexpectedly stepped away from the stage. Her family’s farewell ended with a deeply personal message that offered a final glimpse of Jordan in her own words.

Sass Jordan’s family announced her death in a post on her official Instagram account. “On Oct 2 2026, surrounded by her loving family, Sass Jordan peacefully crossed over to the other side,” the statement read.

The family did not disclose a cause of death. Instead, they described how they would remember the 65-year-old singer. “She remains in our hearts, an inimitable force of nature,” they wrote. “An irreplaceable being of light and joy!”

Music journalist Eric Alper reported that Jordan’s family also asked for privacy as they grieved.

The People Jordan Encouraged Remembered What She Gave Them

Former “Canadian Idol” contestant Mikey Bustos remembered Jordan on Facebook as the judge who supported him when he questioned whether he belonged in the competition.

Bustos said Jordan encouraged him through successive rounds of the show. When self-doubt set in, he said, she gave him hope and made him feel he belonged on the “Canadian Idol” stage.

He also thanked her for her energy, kindness and music, ending his tribute with a reference to her hit “Make You a Believer.”

Japanese drummer Yoyoka shared a different memory on Instagram. She described Jordan as her favorite vocalist and said their connection began when Yoyoka was about 8 years old.

According to Yoyoka, Jordan regularly sent messages, followed her career and encouraged her as a young musician. The two eventually discussed writing an original song together, and Yoyoka hoped they would one day perform on the same stage.

Neither plan was realized. Yoyoka said she was devastated that they never had the opportunity and remembered Jordan as someone she admired, respected, and wanted to emulate.

Singer Lee Aaron’s Facebook tribute focused on friendship.

Aaron described the news as unexpected and crushing and offered condolences to Jordan’s family, bandmates and loved ones. She called Jordan a formidable talent and a fellow “rock’n’roll sister.” Aaron had expected more years of making music together and enjoying time backstage.

Jordan’s later recording work prompted another remembrance. Geoff Kulawick, owner of Linus and Stony Plain, told Billboard Canada that signing her to Stony Plain Records was one of his proudest professional accomplishments.

Kulawick remembered Jordan as a major Canadian rock vocalist whose music was deeply influenced by the blues. The records reflected the blues influence that remained an important part of Jordan’s music.

“One of Canada’s greatest rock vocalists, Sass was truly inspired by the blues,” Kulawick said. “She was a force of nature – bold, beautiful, and brave.”

Mike Garson remembered Jordan on X through their work together on the A Bowie Celebration tours.

Garson recalled her voice, musical instincts, humor and warmth. He also remembered Jordan describing the experience of performing David Bowie’s music each night as “playing a love letter to his memory.” Garson said sharing those performances with her had been an honor.

Canadian producer and songwriter Derek Downham shared another recent memory of Jordan on Instagram. He said he had played drums with her the previous Christmas in Montreal and was crushed by the news of her death.

“I took this pic backstage at Massey Hall of Sass and Molly a couple of years ago. My heart is with Derek Sharp and all of her family, friends and band mates. I truly loved our laughs,” he said.

For Downham, the loss was especially painful because Jordan died on the same date he had lost his mother. He remembered Jordan’s voice and said he would always be honored to have shared a stage with her.

The encouragement others remembered was also reflected in advice Jordan had given young women entering the music industry.

In a 2017 interview with Artsmania, Jordan acknowledged how much the industry had changed since she began her career in the 1970s. She emphasized social media, self-promotion and surrounding yourself with the right people.

But her main advice was simple: Stay committed to what you want to do. “I think if you really want to do it nothing’s going to stop you,” Jordan said.

A September Announcement Took Jordan Off the Road

Jordan’s death came just over a month after health concerns brought her 2026 performance schedule to an early end.

On September 1, the Fort Frances Times (FFT) reported that Jordan had canceled her September 16 appearance as the opening act for the Tour de Fort concert series. Her team also canceled her other scheduled dates for the remainder of the year, including appearances in Thunder Bay and Dryden.

The decision followed medical advice.

“Unfortunately, due to a serious medical condition, Sass is currently unable to perform and has been advised to step away from all professional commitments for the remainder of 2026 to focus on her health and recovery,” her team said.

The FFT reported that the nature of Jordan’s illness was not disclosed.

Tour de Fort programming director John Payne said organizers were working with booking agents and other communities to find a comparable replacement. He also wished Jordan a full and speedy recovery.

Jordan’s official website showed that performances had been planned into the fall. Her tour page listed an October 24, 2026, Quebec City show with Styx, with Jordan scheduled as the special guest.

The Career Behind Decades of Music

Born Sarah Jordan on December 23, 1960, in Birmingham, England, Jordan moved with her family to Montreal when she was 3, according to Alper.

Her parents were Albert Jordan, a French literature professor, and Jean Lanceman, a former English ballerina. Classical music filled the household, but Jordan’s interests moved toward rock. Alper reported that hearing The Band became an important musical turning point. Her first concert was David Bowie’s “Diamond Dogs” tour.

Jordan began playing music as a teenager and performed with the Pinups before establishing herself as a solo artist.

Her debut album, “Tell Somebody,” arrived in 1988. The title track reached No. 11 in Canada, and Jordan won the 1989 Juno Award for Most Promising Female Vocalist.

She moved to Los Angeles in 1990. Two years later, she released Racine, the album that produced several of the songs most closely associated with her career.

The record included “Make You a Believer,” “I Want to Believe,” “You Don’t Have to Remind Me” and “Goin’ Back Again.” “Make You a Believer” reached No. 11 on Billboard’s Mainstream Rock chart, according to Alper.

Jordan’s work during that period also took her beyond her own albums. She recorded “Trust in Me” with Joe Cocker for “The Bodyguard” soundtrack and toured with Aerosmith, the Rolling Stones, AC/DC, and Van Halen.

One musician in Jordan’s touring band would later become a major rock figure himself. Taylor Hawkins played drums for Jordan before joining Foo Fighters. Alper reported that Hawkins credited her with teaching him how to be in a rock ‘n’ roll band and giving him his first rock ‘n’ roll paycheck.

Television brought Jordan to another audience in 2003, when she joined the judging panel of “Canadian Idol.” She was the only woman on the panel and remained with the program for all six seasons.

Jordan continued recording after “Canadian Idol.” Her husband, Derek Sharp, produced her 2009 album From Dusk ’til Dawn. She later explored the blues more directly in 2020 and 2022.

Her Family Shared Jordan’s Own Words in Their Farewell

Jordan’s family ended its tribute by sharing a passage in her own words. They did not say when she wrote it or provide further context about its origin.

In the passage, Jordan described meeting death without hesitation. She wrote of moving toward it with open arms rather than approaching it slowly, and said she had no fear or regret.

She also looked back with gratitude for the body that had carried her through both good and difficult times. Her words remained light at moments, including a reference to standing by laughing as she remembered the life she had lived.

The passage closed with Jordan imagining herself moving on while singing – with one difference this time: “I’ll thank it profoundly / And move on, singing / But this time, / Ah yes, this time, / In perfect tune.”

Jordan is survived by her husband, Derek Sharp; their daughter, Stella Jordan-Sharp, and her partner, Daniel Yepes; stepdaughter Brianne Sharp; and brother Daniel Jordan and his wife, Isabelle Courville, according to Alper.

Her family’s farewell brought the focus back to how Jordan approached life and how those closest to her chose to remember her: with gratitude, humor, and little room for regret. Her lasting legacy remains in her music and in the impact she had on the people who knew, worked with, and learned from her.

Dispatch Call Reveals Where Tim Curry Was Found — 14 Years Earlier, a 911 Call He Initially Objected to Ended Up Saving His Life

Emergency dispatch recordings have revealed new details surrounding the tragic death of “The Rocky Horror Picture Show” icon Tim Curry.

Fans across the world are grieving as breaking reports confirm the beloved actor passed away late Tuesday night after a legendary career.

While dispatch tapes now disclose where officials found him, the tragic event strangely echoes a near-fatal crisis from fourteen years ago.

Uncovering the Scene in Los Angeles

Police officers responded directly to the 80-year-old actor’s Los Angeles home at 11:23 PM on Tuesday. According to TMZ, emergency audio confirms police launched a death investigation after paramedics pronounced Curry dead at the scene.

The Los Angeles Fire Department confirmed they were called earlier that evening over a medical emergency. Officials verified that no foul play is suspected in his death.

A Peculiar Health Emergency

The news of his death comes just one day after country star Dolly Parton passed away. The loss brought back memories of Curry’s frightening health crisis in 2012.

While getting a routine body massage, the actor suffered a severe paralytic stroke. Curry called the event very peculiar because he did not fade to black or feel sick.

His body showed clear physical changes that alerted his masseur to a dire emergency. Yet Curry had no idea anything was wrong and felt completely normal.

Overriding the Actor’s Objections

When the therapist insisted on dialing 911, Curry pushed back against the idea. As reported by The Mirror, Curry told his masseur, “That’s so silly.”

Curry believed his therapist was overreacting to the whole situation. He thought riding in an ambulance was a silly and unnecessary exercise.

Fortunately, the quick-thinking masseur ignored the actor’s protests and called an ambulance anyway. That bold choice ultimately saved the star’s life.

Surviving Major Brain Surgery

Doctors evaluated Curry and determined he needed an immediate craniectomy. Surgeons operated on his skull to remove two blood clots that were clogging blood flow and starving his brain of oxygen.

Curry only learned how severe his condition was after the brain surgery was finished. He later recalled wondering how he was still alive when he had not felt any warning signs.

The stroke left the star paralyzed on his left side and dependent on caregivers. He was left unable to walk and used a wheelchair for the rest of his life.

Living with the Aftermath

As detailed by People, Curry spent several weeks unable to speak during his recovery. Still, he felt thankful he did not suffer a speech stroke that would permanently rob his voice.

The actor opened up about his health struggles in his memoir Vagabond. He admitted that recovering from major brain surgery took a massive toll on his daily life.

During a September 2025 screening at LA’s Academy Museum, Curry joked about his “silly chair” and left leg trouble. He remained deeply grateful to the brave masseur who trusted his gut 14 years ago.

As we previously reported, Curry’s own medical emergency eerily echoed a childhood trauma he carried for decades — the day his father suffered a stroke and spoke what would become unforgettable words.

Before his death, Curry had been looking back on his extraordinary life with a mixture of humor, candor and remarkable resilience. In October 2025, he sat down with Ben Mankiewicz for an interview tied to the release of his memoir, “Vagabond,“ discussing his childhood, his career and the severe stroke he suffered as an adult.

But when the conversation turned to his father, Curry was taken back to a moment when he was only 10 years old.

Before the Fame, There Was a Navy Chaplain’s Son

Curry was born in Cheshire, England, in 1946 and grew up as the son of James Curry, a chaplain in the Royal Navy. Because of his father’s work, the family moved frequently, roughly every 18 months. Curry recalled that his father spent much of his time preaching at naval bases around the country, with the family often attending his Sunday services.

He remembered his father as a man who could command a room without being overbearing. “He was a good preacher,” Curry said, recalling how his father could hold people’s attention because his sermons came from somewhere “very simple and touching.”

Curry also remembered him as “very tolerant” and someone who “really enjoyed people.” He described his father as empathetic and selfless, qualities he later believed helped shape his own ability to understand even the most difficult characters he played.

That admiration made what happened next all the more difficult.

Then, One Day, Everything Changed

Curry was still a child when his father suffered a stroke. In the 2025 interview, he recalled that he did not understand what was happening at first.

His mother, Maura Patricia (Langmead), became frightened and called an ambulance, and medical workers carried Jim down the stairs and out toward the driveway on a stretcher.

Curry was there as his father was about to be taken away. And then his father spoke to him.

“Look after your mother.”

Curry was only 10 years old. For an adult, the words might have sounded like a simple request from a husband concerned about his wife. To a child, they carried a weight Curry could hardly comprehend.

“I remember thinking, ‘How exactly do I do that?'” he recalled. “You know, it seemed like an awful responsibility for a kid.”

Yet Curry later came to believe that his father had not intended to place such a tremendous burden on him. “I know that he didn’t mean it like that,” Curry said.

When Mankiewicz asked whether his father had necessarily meant that Curry would have to look after his mother forever, the actor disagreed. “No, no, I don’t think so,” he said. “I think that he was also trying to make me feel older and more adult.”

Still, the words stayed with him. Curry said his father’s request made him feel older for about two years.

The Goodbye Wasn’t Actually the End

There was another painful twist to the story: his father did not die immediately from the stroke. Instead, he was taken to a naval hospital, where he developed pneumonia twice. Curry later explained that the pneumonia, rather than the stroke itself, ultimately took his father’s life.

“He didn’t die from the stroke as people often do,” Curry said in the interview. Curry remembered the hospital as a “pretty crappy naval hospital” that was “not exactly state-of-the-art.”

Eventually, the news arrived while Curry was already away at boarding school. The headmaster called him in and sat him down before delivering the devastating message. “I’ve got bad news for you. Your father got very bad pneumonia, and he’s gone. He’s died, I’m afraid.”

Curry was left to process the death of a father he adored while still trying to understand what his final words had meant.

His Father’s Death Followed Him Into Adulthood

Curry had already been sent away to boarding school at an unusually young age, something he later described as “brutally early.” His father’s death added another layer of responsibility to a child who was already navigating a major transition.

In a later Guardian interview about his memoir, career and stroke, Curry recalled trying to support his mother and behave as though he were the man of the house. He was not convinced he had been very successful at it. His father had been only 49 when he died, something Curry struggled to reconcile.

“A baby,” he said of his father’s age. “I couldn’t reconcile it as being the truth.” The loss also changed his relationship with his mother. Curry later described her as increasingly volatile after his father’s death, while also acknowledging that he eventually came to understand some of the pain she had carried herself.

For Curry, those early losses became part of the complicated emotional history he carried into adulthood.

Decades Later, Curry Faced His Father’s Fate

The connection became especially striking when Curry himself suffered a severe stroke in 2012. He was 67 at the time and was receiving a massage when the masseur noticed something was wrong. Curry insisted that he was fine, but the masseur ignored him and called an ambulance.

That decision may have saved his life. Curry was rushed to the hospital and underwent brain surgery. The stroke left the left side of his body paralyzed, and he spent months undergoing rehabilitation.

He was unable to speak for several weeks and had to relearn abilities many people take for granted, including speaking clearly and using his hand.

In a 2025 account of Curry’s stroke and health history, he explained that the effects never completely disappeared. He continued to use a wheelchair and struggled with his left leg, while his short-term memory was also severely affected.

He even gave his paralyzed left hand a name: Teddy. It was an unusual way of dealing with a part of his body that had become a source of frustration. But Tim Curry said considering it as a separate entity helped him approach it with care and compassion rather than anger.

His Own Stroke Took Him Back to His Father’s

For Curry, the similarities between his medical emergency and his father’s were impossible to ignore. His father had suffered a stroke decades earlier and died after complications in the hospital. Then Curry found himself facing a stroke of his own, followed by an extended period of rehabilitation.

In the aftermath, Curry admitted that he thought about his father. “It was an odd thing, because my father had a stroke and died very soon afterwards,” he told the Guardian.

He also wondered how his father had coped with his own illness. “I did think about how he coped,” Curry said. “He was very determined to not be a changed man for us, you know.”

The parallel gave Curry’s childhood memory a new and deeply personal dimension. The little boy who had once stood beside an ambulance wondering how he was supposed to “look after” his mother had eventually become a grown man facing the same medical emergency that had changed his family forever.

Somehow, Curry Still Found a Way to Laugh

The parallels were serious, but Curry refused to let illness become the only story of his later life. His humor remained one of his defining traits. Reflecting on his own stroke, he told the Guardian, “The day before I had the stroke, I smoked three packs of Marlboro Reds.”

Then came the punchline: “I won’t be doing that again!” Even after losing much of his mobility, Curry maintained a stubborn refusal to indulge in self-pity. He acknowledged the frustration and limitations but continued looking for reasons to work, laugh and connect with his fans.

That attitude was perhaps best captured when he reflected on the career that had taken him from a Navy chaplain’s son to one of Britain’s most recognizable cult actors.

“I’ve had the opportunities,” Curry said. “And I’m still showing up. You know? I think that’s what you have to do. You have to keep showing up.” And throughout all those years, one sentence from his father remained with him.

“Look after your mother.”

She mentioned that he would have the music composed before shooting began and would have the actors listen to the score before filming a scene. When speaking on her acting career in the U.S., the Tunisian native explained, “My main advantage was that I didn’t ask to go to Hollywood, they called me.”

In that era, whenever a new star emerged, Hollywood studios were quick to claim them, striving to monopolize all the rising talent. They often bound actors with restrictive contracts, which could end up stifling their careers.

However, Cardinale managed to protect her own path. She resisted signing an exclusive contract with Universal, opting instead to agree to one contract at a time, which allowed her to navigate the industry on her own terms and sustain her career.

She once revealed in an interview, “I’ve never done – what you say? – lifting in the face. Things like this. My mother used to say, ‘Wait until you are older, you will always be smiling.’ It’s true. So why would you hide it?”

The movie star, whose film “And Now…Ladies and Gentlemen” was screened out of competition at the Cannes Film Festival, remained very much active in the entertainment industry right up until her final years.

Her last film project was in the Tunisian-Italian movie, “The Island of Forgiveness.” Of her continued presence on the big screen when she was 77, Cardinale expressed, “The most important thing is to stay active. I don’t like all these facelifts and plastic surgery, because you can’t stop time.”

Interestingly, Cardinale’s journey into acting was entirely unplanned. At just 18 years old, she found herself thrust into the spotlight after being unexpectedly crowned “Most Beautiful Italian Girl in Tunisia” — a contest she hadn’t even entered.

This recognition earned her a trip to the prestigious Venice Film Festival, where she was inundated with offers from film producers eager to cast her.

However, Cardinale initially rejected them all. She likened her decision to say no at first to romantic pursuit, saying that immediate acceptance often diminishes desire, while resistance fuels intrigue. Take a look at the iconic actress’s transformation over the years, showing her striking beauty.

Cardinale always had an adventurous spirit. “When I was young, my dream was to explore the world. And I did it,” she once reflected. For her, acting was simply the vehicle that allowed her to fulfill that dream.

Despite navigating a film industry often dominated by patriarchal expectations, she remained steadfast in preserving her identity and values.

Unlike many of her contemporaries, Cardinale refused to conform to pressures that sought to dictate her image. “I was never naked and I never did anything to change my face,” she stated.

The actress embraced the natural passage of time, believing that authenticity was more important than trying to defy aging. “I like to be what I am, because you cannot stop time,” the star added.

Still, Cardinale rose to fame in an era when the Italian film industry was heavily dominated by men, often reducing women to mere objects of desire both on and off screen.

Early in her career, she was mentored by Franco Cristaldi — one of Italy’s most powerful producers — who not only managed her professionally but later became her husband.

While the relationship provided her with career opportunities, it also came with strict conditions. “It was very strict. I couldn’t go around on my own. And I was paid very little, by month, not by film,” Cardinale recalled.

Cristaldi also controlled her appearance, forbidding her from cutting her hair or gaining weight. One of the most painful aspects of her early life was having to hide the existence of her son, born when she was just 17.

For years, the public was led to believe he was her younger brother. Cardinale never disclosed the identity of his father, but decades later, she revealed to the French press that something very harmful had happened to her.

However, she remained firm in her belief that she was never fully exploited by the industry. “No, no, I always refused to be treated like this. I never accepted to be naked in my films, for example,” she insisted.

When she was in her 70s, Cardinale remained as active as ever, continuing to take on film roles despite a decades-long career spanning over 135 movies. Even minor setbacks — like a volleyball accident — didn’t slow her down.

She still worked on two or three films each year while also staying in the public eye through film festivals and lifetime achievement honors, thanks to her iconic performances in classics like “8½,” “The Leopard,” “Once Upon a Time in the West,” and “Fitzcarraldo.”

For Cardinale, stopping was never an option. “I don’t want to stop!” she laughed. “This is fantastic, to continue to work. It’s important.” When asked why she kept going, she simply chuckled and admitted, “I don’t know.”

Cardinale was never one to stay idle. “I like to be active,” she once said, and her passions extended far beyond the silver screen. In addition to her legendary acting career, she was deeply involved in advocacy work, particularly for women’s rights.

As a longtime UNESCO ambassador, she dedicated herself to championing diversity and raising awareness about important global issues, including AIDS prevention and education. Her commitment to activism made her a powerful voice both in and outside of the entertainment industry.

While she was undoubtedly still a beauty in her 80s, Cardinale’s fans liked to reminisce about her younger years, often reacting to nostalgic photographs of the acting legend.

Reacting in early 2025 to a throwback snap of the Italian beauty on the set of the 1971 film “The Legend of Frenchie King,” one supporter swooned, “She was one hot babe. It’s hard to believe she’s 86 now.”

Similarly, a fellow admirer, who had seen a different nostalgic photo of Cardinale flashing a playful smile in a pink towel, gushed, “A wonderful, and beautiful actress,” while another fan added, “A classic!”

After someone on X shared another photo of Cardinale from her youthful years, a supporter flocked to the comment section of the post to praise, “Just beautiful. Enough said.”

Cardinale passed away on September 23, 2025, at her home in Nemours, France, surrounded by her children, according to her agent and reports from Reuters and the Associated Press. She was 87. Her family confirmed she died peacefully at home, and tributes poured in from around the world, including from French President Emmanuel Macron and Italian President Sergio Mattarella.

Cardinale’s journey through the decades shows her enduring talent, grace, and resilience. As one of the most iconic stars of Hollywood’s golden age, she not only left an indelible mark on the film industry but also served as an inspiration for embracing authenticity and natural beauty.

North Dakota Mom Accused of Killing Her Two Young Children Had Chilling Words for Their Father on Video Moments Before

A 22-year-old North Dakota mother is accused of killing two of her young children and seriously injuring another, but newly released video has revealed a disturbing detail from moments before the tragedy. She allegedly pointed a gun at their father and told him something he would never forget.

Kailey Erhart, 22, is facing multiple charges following the August 6 incident at a home on South Frontier Trail in Mandan, North Dakota.

According to the New York Post, Erhart is accused of killing her 5-month-old and 3-year-old children and seriously injuring her 1-year-old, who survived.

The Family Was Already Falling Apart

The children’s father, Cameron, was at the home as the couple was separating and planning to divorce. Court documents cited by KFYR state that Cameron had previously told investigators Erhart had threatened to harm herself, him, and the children.

The situation escalated when Erhart allegedly threatened Cameron with a recently purchased handgun.

Cameron Managed to Take the Gun From Her

According to the affidavit, Cameron was able to wrestle the pistol away from Erhart during a physical struggle. He reportedly disassembled the gun and scattered its pieces throughout the house. The children’s grandmother was also at the home during the confrontation.

She later told investigators that Erhart chased her and Cameron out of the house with a knife before locking the door. But before they left, investigators say a cellphone video captured a disturbing exchange between Erhart and Cameron.

Then She Turned to Her Husband and Said Four Chilling Words

According to the New York Post’s report, the video, which investigators recovered from Cameron’s cellphone, allegedly shows Erhart holding one of the children while holding a pistol near her hip. She then turned toward Cameron and, according to the affidavit, said:

“Say goodbye to your kids.”

The words are significant because the video was allegedly recorded shortly before the children were seriously harmed. After the confrontation, Cameron called 911. According to Law&Crime, dispatchers initially received information that a mother had locked herself inside the home with her three children and was threatening to harm them.

Police Arrived at the Home

Officers arrived at the Mandan home shortly before 6 p.m. on August 6. When they entered, police found Erhart holding a kitchen knife and threatening to harm herself, according to court documents.

She eventually dropped the knife and was taken into custody. Officers then found the three children in a bedroom, where they had suffered serious injuries.

The 5-month-old was pronounced dead at a Bismarck hospital that night. The 3-year-old later died from the injuries, while the 1-year-old survived after undergoing surgery, Mandan Police Chief Jason Ziegler said during a news conference.

Ziegler acknowledged the impact the incident had on the responding officers and the wider community. “A scene like that is something that nobody should ever have to see, and the way [the officers] came through in one of the most horrific times that they’ll probably experience in their life, I’m proud,” Ziegler said, according to a report by Fox News.

He added, “I want to acknowledge this is an extreme, tragic and heartbreaking incident for the children involved, their families, our community and first responders who arrived on scene. Our thoughts are with everyone that were impacted by this tragic incident.”

Erhart’s Account Was Unclear

After being read her Miranda rights, Erhart allegedly told investigators that she believed the children had been injured before she placed them on the bed. She reportedly remembered having the knife in her hands when police arrived but said she did not clearly remember what had happened earlier that evening.

The affidavit also states that Erhart had previously been committed to a mental health facility within the previous 12 to 18 months and had been placed on medication after concerns about threats toward Cameron and the children. She had nevertheless been cleared to be around the children at the time of the August 6 incident, according to the affidavit.

A 3 Million Dollar Bond Was Set

Erhart faces nine charges, including two counts of murder, attempted murder, aggravated assault and terrorizing with a dangerous weapon, according to authorities.

At her initial court appearance on August 7, a judge set her bond at $3 million cash. District Judge Marina Spahr said the amount reflected “the extreme violence in these alleged charges and the threat to the community, victims and children.”

A no-contact order was also issued barring Erhart from contacting the surviving victims. She has not entered a plea and is scheduled to return to court for a preliminary hearing on October 6.

The Family Is Raising Money for the Children

As the criminal case moves forward, the family is also dealing with the financial consequences of the tragedy. A GoFundMe fundraiser created by Melissa Erhart says donations will help cover funeral expenses for the two children who died, as well as medical care, therapy, housing and other costs for the surviving child.

Melissa wrote that her son Cameron is “a father trying to survive something no parent should ever have to face.” She also wrote, “I lost two precious souls in a devastating tragedy after they were murdered by their mother, and the pain is more than I can put into words.”

“Every day, we are carrying unimaginable grief while also trying to stay strong for his surviving child, who is receiving ongoing medical care and facing challenges no child should ever have to endure,” the fundraiser added.

As of the time of this report, the fundraiser has garnered $31,601 toward its $35,000 goal, reaching 91% of the target.
