Heidi Klum, 52, Dazzles in Gold Gown With Sheer Details as She Attends the 2026 Vanity Fair Oscar Party

She stepped onto the carpet in a look that shimmered under every flash, but it was the unexpected details that truly stole the spotlight.

Heidi Klum made an appearance at the Vanity Fair Oscar Party on March 15, 2026, held at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art.

Hosted by Mark Guiducci, the event drew Hollywood’s biggest names, yet Heidi’s look quickly had netizens commenting, and many compared her to the first lady.

A Beauty Look That Set the Tone

Before the gown even came into focus, it was her hair that quietly framed the entire moment. The supermodel styled her signature ombré brown-and-blonde locks in a deep side part, letting the soft waves fall effortlessly around her shoulders.

Her makeup followed a similar philosophy, leaning into subtle glamour with a smoky eye, a nude lip, and just a hint of bronzer that added warmth without overpowering her features. The finishing touch came in the form of a soft blush polish on her nails.

As the cameras moved closer, her accessories began to shine just as brightly as the dress itself. Heidi opted for a chunky gold bracelet paired with a collection of gold rings, creating a cohesive metallic theme.

These pieces didn’t compete with the outfit but instead enhanced its glow in a careful balance that hinted something bigger was coming into view.

The Gown That Sparked All the Attention

Then came the dress. Heidi wore a striking butter yellow Chrome Hearts gown that immediately caught the light with its rich, golden tone.

What made it unforgettable were the strategically placed sheer cutouts, revealing glimpses of her chest and legs while maintaining an artistic, almost sculptural feel. The transparent fabric was embroidered with delicate paisley-like detailing, adding texture that rewarded a closer look.

Just when it seemed the outfit couldn’t get any more cohesive, the supermodel completed the look with gold mirrored leather mules.

Every detail, from head to toe, played into a unified vision that was impossible to overlook. And yet, as polished as it all appeared, the internet had thoughts of its own.

The Internet Weighs In

As photos from the night began circulating, reactions quickly poured in across social media, with fans offering admiration, confusion, and blunt honesty.

Under a Facebook post, one person admitted, “Gotta be uncomfortable having to watch every move,” while another viewer confessed, “For a second I thought this was Melania,” referencing Melania Trump, the first lady.

Someone else echoed the sentiment more directly, “Thought it was Melania!”

Over on Instagram, the conversation took a sharper turn. One commenter questioned the styling direction entirely, writing, “Who is dressing her lately she’s so beautiful but these outfits are so unflattering [sic].”

Another added, “When I first saw this I was sure it was FLOTUS,” doubling down on the comparison. And in a more humorous jab, someone quipped, Temu prom dress. 😂”

What do you think? Is the dress flattering or not? Does Heidi look like the first lady?

Melania herself has had netizens buzzing with her looks many times. As previously reported, on November 18, 2025, she turned heads and sparked a flurry of comments online, looking like a precious gemstone at a state dinner held at the White House in honor of Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman.

All Eyes on the First Lady

Emerging from the presidential residence, Melania stunned the world in a strapless absinthe green floor-length gown by Lebanese designer Elie Saab, radiating effortless glamour as the cameras flashed.

With its dramatic ruching and stiffly sculpted draping across the bodice, the gown hugged every inch of her statuesque frame, evoking a look that was both sleek and commanding.

The elegant creation, currently retailing for a jaw-dropping $3,350 at Neiman Marcus, was paired with a perfectly matched set of green velvet heels.

Her accessories were minimal, of course — just a pair of sparkling diamond earrings. Her honey-brown locks were worn in soft, cascading waves, falling down her back with quiet grace.

And while the event was attended by some of the world’s most powerful figures, it was her presence, along with her body language, that sent netizens into a frenzy.

Fans Lose It Over the Look

“This is the best thing she has worn so far this term… love this 💚,” one person swooned.

Another gushed in detail, “I’m obsessed with this dress! I love how it has a high slit but only opens slightly when walking. If you want a more risqué photo, you simply bend your knee a bit further. She wore it perfectly. She paired it perfectly with green heels and minimal jewelry to keep the attention on that gorgeous dress! I think I even saw a huge emerald ring! My eyes are very happy!”

From the curve-hugging cut to the perfectly coordinated color palette, fans couldn’t get enough of the bold style statement. One admirer confessed“It’s a beautiful dress. Green is my favorite color, but It’s not just the color the way it fits and hugs her curves, it is by far my favorite that she’s ever worn. Oh yeah and I’m straight [sic].”

Another breathlessly praised“She looks like a walking gemstone, a rare beautiful emerald ❤️,” while one netizen simply declared“The green velvet shoes are just oh wow.”

Melania Trump Turns Heads in a Pale Pink Dress at State Dinner with Queen Camilla and King Charles III — Photos

From two shades of pink to butter yellow and classic white, Melania Trump and Queen Camilla’s fashion choices throughout the state visit sparked mixed reactions and hinted at a subtle break from tradition.

A night of royal glamour at the White House took an unexpected turn when Melania Trump’s outfit emerged as one of the evening’s most talked-about moments.

Melania Trump’s Gown May Hold a Subtle Nod to King Charles III

King Charles III and Queen Camilla were in Washington, D.C., on April 28, 2026, for a state dinner hosted by Melania and President Donald Trump. The elegant evening followed the monarch’s address to Congress earlier that day.

According to WWD, Melania wore a pale delphinium pink silk strapless gown designed by Jonathan Anderson for Christian Dior, featuring a clean, structured silhouette that highlighted its elegant simplicity.

She completed the look with long off-white opera gloves and matching heels, creating a polished and cohesive ensemble that balanced modern minimalism with classic glamour.

The color choice may have been intentional. Delphinium flowers, reflected in the gown’s hue, are known to be among Charles’s favorites.

Meanwhile, Camilla wore a bright pink evening gown that stood out for its rich tone and classic silhouette, paired with a historic diamond necklace that added a touch of royal sparkle.

Both Charles and Donald appeared in traditional white-tie attire, reinforcing the formal tone of the evening. Together, the group created a striking visual on the red carpet.

Online reactions were mixed. On Instagram, one netizen wrote, “Melania so gorgeous❤️.” Another commented, “I love Malania dress and it was a tribute to the princess of Wales ❤️🔥🔥 [sic].”

Someone else added, “Camilla could you please have someone help you with your wardrobe 🤦🏻‍♀️,” shifting focus to the queen’s outfit.

On Facebook, the tone was more critical. One commenter said, “That looks like a ’70s prom dress.” Another wrote, “A large dinner napkin,” while someone else remarked, “I see a pink bib and maybe a baby bump😳?”

The mixed reactions highlight just how closely state dinner fashion is scrutinized, especially when long-standing traditions appear to shift. And this time, both Melania and Camilla may have subtly broken with style expectations.

What Their Fashion Choices Could Mean

The online reactions also point to a broader shift. These fashion choices may have strayed from long-standing royal expectations, something royal watchers rarely miss.

According to Elle, Grant Harrold, former butler to Charles, noted that “White is a very traditional colour for the state Banquets.” The custom has been followed for years, including by past attendees like Michelle Obama in 2011.

This time, however, both Melania and Camilla chose shades of pink instead — a subtle but noticeable departure from tradition. The shift was not limited to color.

In an April 27 visit to the White House, both women signaled a more personal approach to diplomacy through their fashion choices.

As reported by GB News, Melania wore a bespoke butter-yellow suit by American designer Adam Lippes, while Camilla chose a white chiffon dress by British designer Anna Valentine — both spotlighting designers from their home countries.

Together, these choices suggest a move toward individual expression over strict protocol, adding another layer of intrigue to an already closely watched state visit.

Melania’s White House appearance alongside the British royals came during a week of heightened scrutiny for the Trump family. Although the evening centered on diplomacy and style, it unfolded amid a public feud with late-night host Jimmy Kimmel.

The Joke That Sparked the Political Firestorm

Only after the criticism intensified did Jimmy’s original joke begin circulating widely online — revealing why it struck such a nerve. During a monologue, Jimmy turned his attention to Melania with a line that quickly went viral.

“Of course, our first lady, Melania, is here. Look at Melania. So beautiful. Mrs. Trump, you have a glow like an expectant widow. Melania’s birthday is on Sunday. That’s right.”

He didn’t stop there, adding another jab that drew mixed reactions, “She’s planning to celebrate at home, the same way she always does, looking out a window and whispering, ‘what have I done?'”

The First Lady Delivers Direct Criticism

As previously reported, the first lady stunned many with a response to Jimmy that was as direct as it was intense.

In a statement shared publicly, Melania wrote, “Kimmel’s hateful and violent rhetoric is intended to divide our country. His monologue about my family isn’t comedy- his words are corrosive and deepens the political sickness within America.”

She didn’t stop there. She added:

“People like Kimmel shouldn’t have the opportunity to enter our homes each evening to spread hate. A coward, Kimmel hides behind ABC because he knows the network will keep running cover to protect him.”

Then came her closing demand — one that quickly fueled headlines. “Enough is enough. It is time for ABC to take a stand. How many times will ABC’s leadership enable Jimmy’s atrocious behavior at the expense of our community.”

Donald Trump Escalates the Pressure

Donald made his outrage known. In a statement on his Truth Social account, Donald wrote that Jimmy “should be immediately fired by Disney and ABC,” describing the comedian’s remarks as “really shocking.”

“Wow, Jimmy Kimmel, who is in no way funny, as attested to by his terrible Television Ratings, made a statement on his Show that is really shocking […] Jimmy Kimmel should be immediately fired by Disney and ABC. Thank you for your attention to this matter! President DONALD J. TRUMP.”

He went even further, tying the controversy to a disturbing real-world incident. “A day later a lunatic tried entering the ballroom of the White House Correspondents Dinner, loaded up with a shotgun, handgun, and many knives,” Donald said, calling the situation “far beyond the pale.”

“He was there for a very obvious and sinister reason. I appreciate that so many people are incensed by Kimmel’s despicable call to violence, and normally would not be responsive to anything that he said but, this is something far beyond the pale.”

As backlash intensified, Jimmy addressed the controversy during his show, pushing back against claims that his joke had dangerous implications.

The Late-Night Host Responds

Jimmy, however, wasn’t backing down. The “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” host reportedly responded to both the president and first lady during his Monday, April 27, monologue.

In the monologue, the host insists that a joke he delivered three days before the White House Correspondents’ Dinner could not have had an impact on the attempted assassination attempt on Saturday, April 25. He firmly denied that his remarks were anything more than humor, calling the criticism exaggerated.

“It was not by any stretch a call to assassination,” Jimmy said, adding that he has long spoken out against gun violence. “And they know that I’ve been very vocal for many years, speaking out against gun violence in particular.”

Still, he acknowledged the gravity of the situation surrounding the White House Correspondents’ Dinner.

“I am sorry that you and the president and everyone in that room on Saturday went through that. I really am,” he said. “Just because no one got killed doesn’t meant it wasn’t traumatic and scary. And we should come together and be best. We really should [sic].”

But then came the line that added another twist to the saga:

“But if you want us to believe that a joke I made three days before this dinner had any effect on anything that happened, well maybe you should look into this psychic lady, too.”

A Controversy That Continues to Unfold

Jimmy has since defended the joke, insisting it was not intended as anything more than humor and rejecting claims that it encouraged violence. At the same time, both Melania and Donald Trump have maintained their criticism, with calls for accountability directed at the network.

With reactions continuing to surface, the moment has evolved into a widely discussed clash between politics and late-night television.

Bruce Willis and Demi Moore’s Daughter Tallulah Wore a Custom Balenciaga Wedding Dress That Took 712 Hours to Make — Photos From Her Final Fitting

Tallulah Willis had her wedding dress custom-made by Balenciaga, but the finished gown was far from a conventional bridal look. Just over a week before her wedding, Tallulah invited Vogue into her final fitting, where the dramatic creation was finally revealed.

Tallulah, the youngest daughter of Bruce Willis and Demi Moore, married musician Justin Acee on August 8, 2026, in Sun Valley, Idaho.

The couple had announced their engagement in December 2024, when Tallulah shared a photo of the pair with a simple caption“everyday @justinacee.”

Tallulah has also followed her parents into acting, appearing in films including BanditsThe Whole Ten Yards and The Scarlet Letter, according to her IMDb biography.

But in recent years, Tallulah has become increasingly open about the personal experiences that shaped her, making the moment she stepped into her wedding gown especially meaningful.

From Etsy Dresses to Balenciaga Couture

She had previously been engaged to director Dillon Buss, who proposed in 2021, before the director later ended their relationship.

Her path to Justin eventually led to a wedding dress that was considerably more elaborate than the gowns she had once casually considered online. As Tallulah’s sister, Scout Willis, recalled during the final fitting, Tallulah had once been sending her family wedding dresses from Etsy.

“This was like six months ago. She was like ‘What about this one?’ and it was on Etsy. From Etsy to Balenciaga couture — that’s a moment. Who would have thought?”

The leap was indeed dramatic. Within months, Tallulah was working with Balenciaga creative director Pierpaolo Piccioli on a custom couture gown, making it one of the first bridal gowns he created for the house after taking on the creative director role.

Tallulah later described the experience as almost surreal. “This morning I’m feeling almost out of body,” Tallulah admitted. “I have my family here, I’m trying on this dress, being in kind of a princess moment.”

Demi was there for the process, too, and remembered meeting Piccioli shortly after his first couture collection for Balenciaga. “The day after his first couture collection for Balenciaga, he was with us for four hours,” Demi recalled. “And I think he would have stayed there playing all day.”

Tallulah worked with Demi’s longtime stylist Brad Goreski to gather references and inspiration before the Balenciaga team began translating those ideas into couture. Brad said the goal was to create something “whimsical and ethereal” while still seeing those qualities through Balenciaga’s distinctive design language.

The final fitting took place in a suite at the Chateau Marmont in Los Angeles, just over a week before the wedding. Vogue was invited inside for the occasion, where Tallulah’s mother and sisters Rumer and Scout joined her as she prepared to see the finished gown.

The moment was clearly a family affair. Tallulah’s own August wedding post later kept the celebration characteristically simple: “Buusk here — tappin in! 💍⛓️💍 @justinacee”.

Then the Dress Finally Appeared

When Tallulah emerged in the completed gown, the reaction around her was immediate. The strapless column dress was made from silk satin backed with silk organza, with a draped train and a dramatic bow at the back.

The bow was not an afterthought. Tallulah explained that it came directly from Piccioli’s vision for the gown. “[The bow] was something that Pierpaolo wanted,” Tallulah said. “He wanted it to be like a package that was being unwrapped.”

That detail becomes particularly striking when the gown is seen from behind. The fitted silhouette opens into a flowing skirt, while the oversized bow sits low on the back and gives the otherwise elegant gown an unexpectedly sculptural finish.

The craftsmanship behind it was equally remarkable. The dress required 712 hours of work, including 405 hours devoted to construction and atelier alterations, while another nine hours were spent creating the veil.

Artisans at the Balenciaga atelier completed the hand embroidery. Individual organza petals were each beaded and then applied by hand, with approximately 60 hours going into that process alone.

Even the bodice involved painstaking construction. It was made from cotton tulle and reinforced with hand-pivoted faille for structure. At the same time, the neckline drew inspiration from a Balenciaga look Demi had worn to the Vanity Fair Oscar party earlier in 2026.

Tallulah remembered that original inspiration clearly. “It was [a] beautiful, black, super simple sheath, but it had that really sculptural Balenciaga [neckline],” she said.

“When I first tried on the original iteration [of my wedding dress], it was flat across [the neckline], and I just thought, wouldn’t it be so beautiful to have no necklace and nothing up here, but just the shape.”

And then there was the veil. Once the sheer fabric was placed over Tallulah’s head, the mood changed again, with those around her comparing the finished bridal look to a “movie star goddess.”

The resulting photographs show exactly why the fitting was worth documenting. From an image within the carousel, Tallulah stands with her back to the camera as she looks toward the people around her, allowing the gown’s dramatic open back and oversized bow to take center stage.

Her long dark hair is pulled into a low, loose bun, with waves falling down her back and exposing the open-back construction. Nearby, her mother in a black top and colorful patterned skirt sits on the floor watching the fitting, while fabric from the gown extends across the patterned carpet.

The photograph makes the scale of the bow especially clear. Its large loops sit at the lower back before the skirt continues downward into the long train.

Another fitting image offers an entirely different view. Tallulah is seen through a large mirror, where her reflection provides a clear look at the front of the strapless gown, while her actual figure appears blurred in the foreground with her back toward the camera.

In the reflection, she stands with her hands on her hips, seemingly assessing the finished dress herself. The gathered fabric at the waist falls into a full skirt, while several people can be seen working in the room behind her. The mirror composition is particularly effective because it shows both sides of the gown at once: the front in the reflection and the open back in the foreground.

The veil receives its own moment, too. In another photograph, Tallulah stands with her eyes closed as her mother and a member of the fitting team hold the enormous sheer fabric above her head, creating a soft veil of translucent material between her and the bright windows behind her.

The ivory gown is visible beneath it, with its sculpted strapless bodice and delicate fabric details. The scene feels less like a formal wedding portrait and more like a glimpse into the final, intimate hours of preparation.

In another intimate frame, Tallulah is shown from behind as one of her sisters present for the fitting leans in to kiss her on the lips while gently holding her face. Tallulah’s open-backed gown is again visible, along with the oversized bow and the loose waves of her dark hair.

The opening image from Vogue’s carousel shows Tallulah seated on the edge of a large white bed, surrounded by the sweeping ivory fabric of the gown. Her strapless bodice is fitted through the waist before the material cascades downward, with the train spilling across the bed and onto the patterned floor.

Tallulah’s dark hair is loosely gathered back, with soft pieces framing her face as she looks to the side. The warm bedroom setting, white bedding and dramatic spread of fabric give the photograph an almost cinematic bridal-editorial quality.

Why This Dress Meant More Than a Wedding

The spectacular gown also carried a meaning that had little to do with fashion. Tallulah has spoken publicly about a long struggle with body image and self-acceptance that began when she was still a child.

At 11, after attending an event with her mother, Tallulah searched online to see whether photographs of her outfit had appeared on party and style websites. Instead, she encountered cruel comments about her appearance that stayed with her for years.

She later recalled comments including, “‘Wow, she looks deformed.’ ‘Look at her man jaw — she’s like an ugly version of her dad.’ ‘Her mother must be so disappointed,'” in an essay about her experiences.

Tallulah said those words became deeply internalized. What might have been anonymous comments to strangers became, for her, a painful story about her own appearance that she carried into adulthood.

Her struggles later included body dysmorphia and an eating disorder. In a 2023 account of that period, she described how anorexia nervosa became intertwined with her feelings about her body and with the difficulties her family was experiencing as her father Bruce’s health declined.

Tallulah has also spoken about receiving an autism diagnosis in 2024, describing the discovery as something that “changed my life.” Her recovery was not presented as a quick transformation. Tallulah has described seeking treatment, confronting her relationship with her body, and eventually learning to focus less on appearance and more on being present for the people she loved.

In one of her reflections on recovery, she wrote, “What our mirror shows does not dictate how much love we deserve, we are more than the reflection. ❤️”

She also described the shift in priorities that came with recovery: “They will live with me each day I glide this earth. But with (near) complete ownership of self comes the ability to set the rules, and they do not steer this beautiful ship anymore.”

That makes the words she shared about her wedding dress especially poignant. Rather than describing the gown simply in terms of how it looked, Tallulah connected it to the years she had spent learning to accept herself.

“The best part of the dress is the magnitude,” Tallulah said. “It’s the thing that’s getting me to my new husband. We made a decision at the very beginning of our relationship that we were going to choose each other every day.”

Her biggest hope, she explained, was for something magical but not predictable. “My biggest hope [for the dress] was that [it would be] something magical, but magical in a way that was unexpected, kind of like me.” Then came the line that puts the entire fitting into perspective:

“I’ve worked very hard to be comfortable in my own skin, to be in something that there’s a strength in is profound for me. I’ve worked so hard in my life to be able to find that beauty every day… this is definitely a very special peak celebration moment of beauty.”

After the wedding dress fitting, Tallulah and her family celebrated the moment with French fries.

“We’re going to have some French fries, [and] we’re going to soak and relish in the beauty and the magic,” Tallulah said. “Thank you to Balenciaga, and thank you to Pierpaolo, and thank you to everyone who has believed in me and stayed the course!”

Javicia Leslie Stuns in Wedding Looks as She Marries Mystery Groom — Photos

‘High Potential’ star, Javicia Leslie’s dreamy beachfront wedding looked straight out of a movie — but it’s the mystery groom and intimate moments behind the scenes that have everyone talking. As new photos emerge, the full story slowly comes into focus.

At first glance, it looked like a picture-perfect celebrity wedding — sunlit beaches, couture gowns, and glowing smiles. But as new photos surfaced, one detail kept pulling attention: the man standing quietly beside Javicia Leslie.

Rooted in Identity: From Hampton to Hollywood Firsts

Before she was a household name, much of Javicia Leslie’s perspective was shaped by her upbringing. Born in Germany to a military family and raised in Prince George’s County, Maryland, she learned early on the value of community. She later deepened during her time at Hampton University, where the HBCU experience defined her understanding of success.

“There is this pride that I have that’s not even intentional about being Black, and being in Black environments, and being around Black success,” Leslie told Essence. Growing up surrounded by Black professionals made high achievement feel like the standard. “For me, it feels normal.”

That grounded confidence fueled a career marked by historic milestones. Leslie made waves as the first Black actress to play Batwoman on television, a role that allowed her to bring her full self to the screen.

“I am extremely proud to be the first Black actress to play the iconic role of Batwoman on television, and as a bisexual woman, I am honored to join this groundbreaking show, which has been such a trailblazer for the LGBTQ+ community,” Leslie shared.

This commitment to authentic representation became a hallmark of her career, as she often stresses that true diversity requires supporting minority voices in every department on set.

That same sense of identity and intention didn’t just shape her career — it also quietly shaped her approach to love.

A Love Story That Didn’t Start in the Spotlight

While her professional life was reaching new heights, her personal life was quietly flourishing. Javicia and her now-husband, Nana-Yaw Asamoah, shared a far more low-key beginning.

The High Potential star, 38, first met Nana-Yaw in an unexpected setting — a karaoke bar in Los Angeles. Introduced by a mutual friend who sensed they were both ready for something serious, their connection quietly blossomed away from public view.

That private energy would later define nearly every detail of their wedding.

From Napa Proposal to ‘I Do’

Their connection quietly blossomed, leading to an emotional engagement at a Napa vineyard on May 25, 2025. Months before the ceremony, their engagement hinted at the romance to come. In the photos, Nana-Yaw is seen down on one knee on a vineyard terrace, while Javicia — visibly emotional — cups his face, caught between laughter and tears.

It was intimate, intentional, and quietly cinematic—a tone that would carry into their wedding day. As she began planning her walk down the aisle, Leslie embraced a vision that surprised even her. “I’m actually a very classic bride,” she revealed to Madamenoire in an interview. “There’s something really timeless about that.”

A Destination Wedding With Meaning

When it came time to say “I do,” the couple chose the breathtaking Banyan Tree Mayakoba in Riviera Maya, Mexico, for their April 18, 2026, ceremony. According to PEOPLE, around 150 guests gathered for what Javicia described as a celebration that was “warm, timeless, and effortlessly luxurious.”

“We wanted a destination that felt warm, romantic, and immersive,” she shared, pointing to the ocean views and lush surroundings as the perfect backdrop. “The ocean, the lush natural surroundings, and the serene beauty of Banyan Tree Mayakoba made it the perfect place to gather our loved ones and celebrate such a meaningful moment.”

But beneath the aesthetic, something even more powerful anchored the day.

The Ceremony That Stopped Everyone

Faith played a central role in the ceremony — and it wasn’t just symbolic. Gospel music filled the air, and the couple exchanged deeply personal vows before being married by Nana-Yaw’s sister, Afie Reid. Then came a moment guests would never forget.

What happened next shifted the tone of the entire ceremony. A prayer circle formed around them. Family and friends physically surrounded the couple, arms linked, as they prayed over their marriage in what was described as a “deeply meaningful and spiritual” experience.

It was a rare, unfiltered glimpse into the foundation of their relationship — and a turning point in the story.

An Immersive Celebration Rooted in Love and Culture

The wedding wasn’t just a single-day affair — it was a full, immersive experience. From a rehearsal dinner to a golf outing, a pool party, and a vibrant Afrobeats welcome night, every detail was designed to reflect their personalities and shared love of culture.

“It was important for us to create an experience that felt intentional, joyful, and full of love,” Javicia said. “We wanted every moment to feel like a true celebration of our union.”

And then came the looks.

Three Dresses, One Unforgettable Bride

Javicia didn’t just walk down the aisle — she commanded it, in a dramatic Pallas Couture gown with a cinched waist and sweeping silhouette. But that was only the beginning.

She later changed into a sleek, sculpted reception dress that balanced elegance with modern edge, before finishing the night in a fun, flirty two-piece set by Galia Lahav.

Each look revealed a different side of her personality — classic, confident, and carefree.

Inside the Wedding Weekend: The Moments That Set the Tone

The polished ceremony may have set the tone — but it’s what happened after that that quietly reveals the heart of the celebration as documented on her Instagram Story.

In one softly lit reception moment, Javicia stands beside her groom, holding a microphone, delivering a heartfelt speech as he watches her with quiet focus, the table in front of them glowing with candles and carefully arranged settings.

Elsewhere, the mood shifts completely — she leans cheek-to-cheek with a friend in a floral satin dress, lifting one leg playfully as the camera captures a burst of laughter and unfiltered joy.

Under strands of warm string lights, the bride reappears on the dance floor, now in a crochet-style two-piece, moving freely with her groom as guests mingle behind them, the atmosphere relaxed and electric all at once.

A posed group shot shows the couple, arm-in-arm with friends, her groom in a dark, patterned shirt holding a drink, everyone leaning in close as if the camera had caught them mid-laugh.

Then come the candid party snapshots — Javicia between two women, playful expressions on full display as one sticks out her tongue and the other pouts, the kind of moment that feels more like real life than a staged celebration.

After the Vows: The Moments That Reveal Something More

In a more polished frame, she wraps an arm around a friend in an elegant evening look, both smiling brightly as if pausing to take in everything the weekend had become.

At the reception table, surrounded by lush white florals and soft candlelight, Javicia raises a champagne flute, smiling to herself in a quieter, reflective moment that contrasts the high-energy dance floor.

Earlier in the day, the tone was entirely different again — inside a hotel room, she beams while holding an oversized champagne bottle, dressed in a silky white slip, the excitement of getting ready written all over her face.

Bruce Willis and Demi Moore’s Daughter Tallulah’s Wedding: What We Know About Her New Husband, Justin Acee

Tallulah Willis has married musician Justin Acee, but there’s more to their story than the wedding day. Some sweet clues reveal why he became the man she chose.

Tallulah Willis, the youngest daughter of Bruce Willis and Demi Moore, married Justin Acee on August 8, 2026, during a star-studded ceremony in Sun Valley, Idaho.

The wedding brought together family and friends, with guests including Andrew Garfield, Ali Larter, Lucy Liu and Zac Posen, according to InStyle.

Tallulah Willis Has Married Justin Acee in Idaho

The celebration marked the latest chapter in a relationship Tallulah had already been openly documenting online. The couple had announced their engagement in December 2024, when Tallulah shared a photograph of the pair holding hands over a path covered in rose petals, with her engagement ring prominently visible.

She captioned the post simply, “everyday @justinacee.” And it turns out that idea seen in her caption became even more significant when Tallulah later reflected on what her wedding meant to her.

Before the Wedding, Tallulah Had Already Called Justin Her Dreamboat

Tallulah has never been particularly shy about expressing her feelings for Justin. In a December 2024 reel, she described him in a way that sounded straight out of a fairy tale — although very much in her own language.

“Justin is like the gangly freckled knight in shining Bode that I always dreamed of. I’m literally so in love with this dreamboat @justinacee. And he made a video for his song Chin Up, and it’s soosoooo [expletive] good !!! Power couple emerging 20225 lets [sic] EAT 🍰”

Justin has also given fans glimpses of that connection from his side. In a TikTok posted under his NIGHTIES music identity, he referred to Tallulah’s siblings as his “sisters” while sharing a moment involving music.

In the post, Justin wrote, “I love my sisters”, and tagged Scout and Rumer before introducing the clip as “Singing Sisters: A Heartwarming POV” and inviting viewers to watch them join him for a rendition of his song. Across the video, Justin wrote, “POV: When your sisters sound like angels and sing your song with you.”

By then, Justin was not simply Tallulah’s boyfriend or fiancé; he appeared to have become part of the wider Willis family dynamic. And one particularly warm photograph suggests Bruce Willis had known his future son-in-law for quite some time before the wedding.

Bruce Willis and Justin Had Their Own Sweet Moment

In July 2024, Tallulah shared a photograph featuring her father and Justin together. She captioned the image, “This photo is sunshine on a rainy day for me. ☀️”

The photograph provided a glimpse of Justin alongside Bruce well before Tallulah and Justin exchanged wedding vows. While Tallulah has spoken about Justin in intensely personal terms, he has also built a creative identity of his own.

So, Who Is Justin Acee?

Justin is a multi-instrumental musician who has released music under the name NIGHTIES. In a 2024 interview with Vents Magazine, he discussed his music, his creative process, and the deeply personal experiences that have influenced his work.

His single “Ugly Truth” was one of the projects he discussed, explaining that the song began with a synth line and drum pattern before the bass line and vocal melody followed.

He said he was able to become “real honest about some stuff I’d been holding onto lyrically” while writing the track. Justin also explained that he handled essentially every part of the production himself, saying he wrote, performed, produced, engineered, mixed and mastered the songs for the project.

That hands-on approach appears to be an important part of his artistic personality. As he joked during the interview, “I’m a control [expletive], remember haha…” He has described his music as “summer night driving music,” explaining that he wants his songs to become attached to listeners’ memories.

“I love when songs enhance a memory or specific moment,” Justin told Vents Magazine. “My most vivid memories are the ones where songs are attached to them. I’m trying to make songs like that.” His influences include Andy Shauf, Big Thief, King Krule and The Beatles, while he also mentioned listening to Dominic Fike and artist Lutalo at the time of the interview.

Justin’s connection to music is not limited to performing, either. He has also spoken about directing the creative process surrounding his work and collaborating with other musicians and filmmakers.

For “Ugly Truth,” he worked with director David Hinsch after sharing his vision for the music video. Justin said Tallulah, whom he referred to as his partner at the time, also worked with him on the project. The couple’s relationship and their creative lives were already intertwined long before their wedding day.

Their Wedding Also Marked a Major Fashion Moment for the Bride

Tallulah’s wedding was not only significant because she married the man she had chosen to build a life with. Her own bridal look became another major part of the celebration. For the ceremony, she wore a custom Balenciaga gown created with creative director Pierpaolo Piccioli.

The gown took 712 hours to create, including 405 hours devoted to construction and atelier alterations, while the veil required another nine hours of work.

Tallulah had previously been sending her family wedding dress options from Etsy, according to her sister Scout Willis. The eventual leap from those casual online options to Balenciaga couture was, as Scout put it, quite a moment.

Tallulah’s final fitting took place at the Chateau Marmont in Los Angeles shortly before the wedding, with Demi, Rumer Willis and Scout present.

Demi was also involved in the creative process. She recalled meeting Piccioli after his first couture collection for Balenciaga and said, “The day after his first couture collection for Balenciaga, he was with us for four hours.”

The neckline of Tallulah’s gown was inspired by a Balenciaga look Demi had worn to the Vanity Fair Oscar party earlier in 2026. Tallulah explained that she wanted the neckline to provide enough visual impact that she would not need a necklace or anything else around her neck.

But the meaning of the gown went much deeper than its construction. Tallulah has spoken publicly about her struggles with body image and self-acceptance, including cruel comments she encountered about her appearance as a child.

In one of her reflections on recovery, she wrote, “What our mirror shows does not dictate how much love we deserve, we are more than the reflection. ❤️”

She also described the shift in priorities that came with recovery, “They will live with me each day I glide this earth. But with (near) complete ownership of self comes the ability to set the rules, and they do not steer this beautiful ship anymore.”

That history made her comments about her wedding dress especially poignant. “The best part of the dress is the magnitude,” Tallulah said. “It’s the thing that’s getting me to my new husband. We made a decision at the very beginning of our relationship that we were going to choose each other every day.”

Her biggest hope, she explained, was for something magical but not predictable. “My biggest hope [for the dress] was that [it would be] something magical, but magical in a way that was unexpected, kind of like me.”

“I’ve worked very hard to be comfortable in my own skin, to be in something that there’s a strength in is profound for me.” And while Tallulah’s gown represented years of personal growth, her mother’s outfit provided an entirely different kind of wedding-day fashion surprise.

Then Demi Moore Made a Very Untraditional Choice

Demi was in full proud-mom mode as she watched Tallulah marry Justin, but her own outfit did not exactly follow the traditional wedding guest playbook.

Taylor Swift Spotted at English Wedding with Sabrina Carpenter and Jack Antonoff, and Fans Can’t Stop Talking About Her New Look — Photos

Taylor Swift traded the stadium spotlight for the English countryside this weekend, turning up at a wedding surrounded by familiar faces from her music career. But amid the glamorous guests and countryside setting, one detail about Swift’s appearance quickly became the thing fans couldn’t stop examining.

Taylor Swift attended the wedding of recording engineers Oli Jacobs and Laura Sisk on August 15 at Peter Gabriel’s Real World Studios in Gloucestershire, England.

Sisk has been a longtime fixture in Swift’s musical world, with their professional relationship stretching back to the 1989 era.

Swift Traded the Spotlight for a Much More Intimate Celebration

Over the years, she has collaborated with Swift on ReputationLoverFolkloreEvermoreMidnights and The Tortured Poets Department, making her wedding a particularly personal occasion for the singer.

Jacobs also has a history with the venue, having started his career at Real World Studios before establishing himself as a recording engineer and collaborator with major pop stars.

According to TMZ’s report on the wedding, the guest list reflected those connections, with Jack Antonoff, Sabrina Carpenter and Phoebe Bridgers among the familiar entertainment names in attendance.

Despite the celebrity-heavy guest list, the celebration was reportedly kept relatively intimate and low-key. Marquees were set up throughout the gardens, with guests beginning to mingle outside around 3 p.m. before the festivities continued into the evening.

Swift was also showing that her professional relationship with Sisk had clearly developed into a personal friendship. Sisk was reportedly among the guests at Swift’s own wedding in New York last month. Now, Swift had the chance to celebrate Sisk and Jacobs as they began their own marriage.

Swift’s Wedding Guest Look Was Elegant – But One Detail Stood Out

For the reception, Swift wore a plunging navy dress covered in gold appliqués, with a voluminous skirt that created a soft silhouette. She kept her makeup familiar, wearing her signature red lip with brown eyebrow pencil and black mascara.

But the most noticeable part of the look wasn’t her dress or makeup. It was her hair. Swift appeared with a shoulder-length cut, keeping her ashy-blonde color but wearing the shorter length in soft waves that fell just past her shoulders.

According to InStyle’s report on Swift’s wedding look, the new cut represented a significant change from the longer style she had been wearing in recent months.

But the length was only part of the transformation. Swift also wore side-swept bangs, moving away from the eyebrow-skimming fringe that has remained one of her most recognizable features for years.

Her bangs have followed her through major musical eras, including ReputationLoverFolkloreEvermoreMidnights and The Tortured Poets Department. This time, however, the fringe was swept to the side, giving her familiar look a noticeably different shape.

The shorter cut also framed her face differently, while the soft waves gave the hairstyle a more relaxed appearance. And because the photos captured Swift from multiple angles, fans had plenty of opportunities to take in the change.

The Photos Gave Fans Their First Full Look at Swift’s New Hairstyle

The photos offered a much clearer look at Swift’s shortest hairstyle in years, with the shoulder-length cut and side-swept bangs visible from different angles. The new style quickly became a subject of conversation online, with some fans suggesting Swift should make even bigger changes.

One Instagram commenter wanted Swift to experiment with her color, writing, “I’ve been saying for years that she needs a different color! That is about the same color my hair grows in these days, and I hate it!”

“It lightens up if I’m in the sun a lot, but it’s still dark underneath. She’s Taylor Swift, she could have anyone color her hair. I wish she’d do it already,” the comment read on.

A third commenter was considerably less enthusiastic, writing, “Red lipstick and grandma’s hair with everything. 😬😬😬😬😬😬” The reaction wasn’t limited to Instagram.

On TMZ’s Facebook post about Swift’s appearance, commenters also debated Swift’s appearance. One person wrote, “Does my look like her or she aged overnight [sic].” Another commented, “She sure aged real quick.”

Swift’s appearance at the Gloucestershire wedding came just days after she stepped out for a girls’ night in London.

Days Before the Wedding, Swift Had Already Been Turning Heads in London

On August 12, she was spotted leaving private members’ club Annabel’s in a lilac minidress by Delphine decorated with metallic floral appliqués and the new hairstyle.

She paired the look with a crystal-covered Christian Louboutin shoulder bag, silver Aquazzura stiletto sandals and her signature red lip.

Swift’s English wedding appearance came during the first weeks following her own highly publicized marriage to Travis Kelce.

A Massive Multi-Day Blueprint

The spectacular union officially kicked off its public countdown after the couple shared their news on August 26, 2025. They announced their engagement via concurrent Instagram posts, showing off a stunning cushion-cut diamond ring with a playful caption about an English teacher and a gym teacher.

During a subsequent appearance on “The Graham Norton Show,” the pop star teased that her wedding would be a massive affair. She joked that there would be “no bubble” for invitations, promising to invite almost anyone she had ever spoken to. According to The New York Times, the festivities kicked off on July 2, 2026, with an intimate gathering of roughly 100 people.

The main event followed on July 3, featuring a massive guest list of up to 1,200 people. To ensure absolute privacy, another report noted that organizers had completely bypassed traditional paper invitations, communicating with high-profile guests entirely via encrypted text messages.

Shutting Down Manhattan

The scale of the wedding was so massive that it required altering the infrastructure of New York City itself. Prior to the nuptials, a prominent event planning company based on the Upper West Side, Winick Productions, had quietly filed an application with the city’s Street Activity Permit Office in early June.

The filing explicitly requested authorization to set up a massive tent and canopy structure directly outside the venue. It also noted that heavy commercial trucks would need dedicated space to load and unload stage materials for days.

As a result, a permit was filed with New York City to close the streets around the venue from July 2 to midday July 4 for the events. This multi-day shutdown completely altered traffic during one of the busiest holiday weekends of the year.

Logistics had already fallen into place across the city as traveling guests prepared for the big weekend. Several members of the Kansas City Chiefs had already booked premium accommodations at the Marriott Marquis in Times Square around July 3.

Furthermore, law enforcement officials actively braced for an unprecedented logistical challenge. Amtrak police officers had been formally told to expect the pop star’s wedding over the holiday weekend.

Meanwhile, the NYPD prepared for an overwhelming influx of onlookers and paparazzi. According to reports from Variety, active patrolling officers confirmed they had been briefed on how to handle the massive expected crowds.

The Million-Dollar Mystery Venue

For months, devoted fans scoured the country for clues, initially descending upon a luxury hotel near her Rhode Island home on June 13 following false tabloid reports. But after that seaside gathering proved to be a false alarm, the true location was finally unmasked. The couple officially hosted their massive wedding spectacular inside Madison Square Garden.

While a massive sports arena might have seemed like an unusual choice for exchanging vows, the iconic venue offered unparalleled advantages for the safety-conscious couple. The entirely windowless environment completely blocks overhead paparazzi drones and long-range lenses.

Additionally, the iconic arena features an indoor underground parking structure and a highly discreet entrance ramp. This allowed black town cars to transport celebrity guests directly inside without ever facing the public.

According to TMZ, renting the legendary arena cost the couple an astonishing $1 million per night.

Sources also told the publication that the venue was secured for at least three full days to allow for extensive set construction, the event itself, and striking the stage. Despite her history of performing eight sold-out shows at the arena, the billionaire singer did not receive any special discounts.

The First Footage Revealed a Hidden Fairytale Inside the Arena

And then, after all that buzz and secrecy, the wedding finally happened. What followed was exactly the kind of spectacle fans might expect from Swift and Kelce: a tightly guarded celebration, a room full of famous faces, and just enough mystery to make every leaked detail feel like a clue.

As the Daily Mail reported on July 4, 2026, breathtaking footage obtained by the outlet offered the first look inside the couple’s top-secret New York City wedding. The video showed Madison Square Garden completely transformed into what one could only describe as a fairytale hidden inside a sports arena.

The leaked footage also showed guests dressed in formalwear inside the transformed arena, adding to the sense of just how elaborate the private celebration became. The glimpse supported reports that the wedding drew a polished mix of family, friends, and high-profile attendees. | Source: TikTok/dailymailau

The ceremony space appeared to be dressed as an enchanted garden, with towering trees, lush greenery, emerald drapery, and soaring archways surrounding the guests. It was a striking visual twist for a venue better known for concerts, basketball games, and hockey nights than whispered vows and couture wedding looks.

Guests could be seen gathering at the altar before later moving through a hidden set of doors into the reception area.

The footage reportedly captured the room buzzing as Candi Staton’s disco anthem “Young Hearts Run Free” played. Stars dressed in formalwear filed through the doors behind the altar after the ceremony, where Swift reportedly walked down a raised, stage-like aisle to a string arrangement of one of her own songs.

One guest told the outlet that after the vows, attendees “headed into the festivities room behind the altar’s magic doors,” where the real party began. The same guest divulged that the interior had a “whimsical Tinker Bell fairytale” theme, and the footage certainly matched that description.

Arrangements of green foliage and large trees leaned fully into the garden-party atmosphere the bride was said to have wanted for her big day. Emerald green drapery hung from the ceiling, adding to the dreamy ambience.

Even the arena’s usual blue seats were transformed, covered in nude-colored fabric to soften the massive space and make it feel less like MSG and more like a private castle garden.

A towering ceiling-height structure with gray embellishments and archways dominated the space. The feature resembled a chapel — or perhaps the very “castle” that had sparked frenzied speculation before the wedding.

The leaked footage also showed a romantically lit hallway with pink walls, peach drapery, and matching carpet. It appeared to sit just beyond the glamorous, carpet-covered stairway that some guests had posted on social media.

But the hallway held one of the most sentimental details of the night: Photos of Swift and Kelce from throughout their relationship were displayed on the walls inside large gold frames, including images from the couple’s August 2025 backyard proposal.

In the center was a large “T and T” logo, which seemed to have appeared in other parts of the nuptials too. Another section of the footage showed the ceremony space itself, where elegantly dressed guests lined up in what appeared to be the area where Swift and Kelce exchanged their vows.

“Good Morning America” host and wedding guest George Stephanopoulos later summed up the transformation with a phrase that felt tailor-made for the occasion. “It was really this garden inside The Garden,” he said on Saturday. “It was just so beautiful.”

AMC CEO Adam Aron also gushed about the magical transformation in a since-deleted post on X. He wrote that immediately upon entry, everything — floors, walls, and ceilings — was draped in peach and white.

Aron also said large blown-up pictures of Swift and Kelce at each age, year by year from one-year-old to late teenage years, were on display. He added that the space was “devoid of any notion that a basketball or hockey game [had] ever shared the space.”

The Outside of MSG Carried Its Own Newlywed Message

Outside, Madison Square Garden was bathed in pink light to mark the occasion. The giant illuminated screens displayed “JUST&T MARRIED!” — a cheeky nod to the newlyweds.

Industry experts estimated that Swift and Kelce, both 36, spent more than $15 million turning MSG into their dream wedding venue. A source told The New York Times that lighting, sound, catering, flowers, decorations, and labor alone could cost between $10 million and $12 million.

The days leading up to the event were reportedly packed with movement around the venue. Dozens of staffers were seen unloading equipment, boxes of food, and decorations from a fleet of trucks and caravans.

Security, Secrecy, and NDAs Kept the Celebration Under Tight Control

Security was also a major part of the production. Several NYPD officers and security members reportedly patrolled MSG ahead of the wedding, with the cost said to have reached about $1 million for taxpayers. The massive event did not escape criticism either.

Some local business owners reportedly complained that business was disrupted during a holiday weekend because of street closures. Still, inside the venue, the celebration seemed to be every bit as grand as fans imagined.

Shortly after the couple said “I do,” Swift’s publicist issued a press release sharing several intimate details from the nuptials. Adam Sandler officiated the wedding, while the couple wore custom Christian Dior Haute Couture. Swift opted out of bridesmaids and chose her brother as her “man of honor.”

Times Square Incident: Facts About Erin Piacenti, Her Final Post, and the Second Victim’s Identity Revealed – Plus What the Attacker’s Family Said About Her

A matter of seconds connected two strangers in a tragedy that has since uncovered deeply personal details about the lives behind the headlines.

What began as an ordinary Monday afternoon in one of New York City’s busiest tourist districts turned deadly within seconds. In the days afterward, the identities and deeply personal stories behind those caught in the violence revealed just how random the encounter appears to have been.

A Sudden Attack in the Heart of Times Square

The violence unfolded around 4:24 p.m. near West 41st Street and Seventh Avenue on Monday, August 31, 2026, according to a Daily News report.

Police Commissioner Jessica Tisch said 49-year-old Queens resident Pamela Cisneros approached a 68-year-old man who had just emerged from a nearby subway station and was waiting to cross the street with his wife.

A witness told investigators that Cisneros removed two knives from a red Target bag before attacking the man, stabbing him in the abdomen. Within roughly 20 seconds, police said, the violence continued.

Cisneros moved north toward West 42nd Street, where she allegedly then stabbed a 32-year-old woman in the abdomen. The woman would later be identified as Erin Piacenti. Officers confronted Cisneros near an NYPD substation around West 43rd Street, beginning an approximately four-minute standoff.

According to Tisch, officers repeatedly ordered Cisneros to drop the knives. She allegedly responded, “I’m not dropping anything. I would rather kill both of you. I will kill you.” Police attempted to use a taser as Cisneros approached officers while holding both knives. When those attempts failed, two officers opened fire.

“This was an extraordinarily dangerous situation unfolding in the heart of Times Square, the crossroads of the world,” Tisch said, adding that the officers had been facing “a rapidly evolving threat with countless innocent people around them.”

The two stabbing victims and Cisneros were transported to Bellevue Hospital. Piacenti and Cisneros died, while the male victim was expected to survive. Mayor Zohran Mamdani asked New Yorkers to keep the surviving victim in their thoughts while thanking officers for intervening before the violence could escalate further.

Two knives were recovered from the scene, police said. The afternoon attack stunned people who happened to be nearby. Construction Worker Jorge Disla said he recorded Cisneros during the confrontation with officers and recalled police repeatedly telling her to put down the knives. Another witness, Linda Ruiz, recalled encountering a man bleeding heavily and pleading for help.

“I went to get a cop on the corner and there was another lady on the floor. She was stabbed in the back or in the chest. I couldn’t tell. There was a lot of blood. She wasn’t conscious. The police were trying to resuscitate her. But she wasn’t moving. It was horrible,” Ruiz explained.

Video footage later shared by The New York Times shows Cisneros holding knives during the confrontation with officers, as well as scenes from the aftermath of the stabbings. But as investigators worked to understand what had happened, attention increasingly shifted toward the woman whose life had been taken.

Erin Piacenti Had Just Returned from Maternity Leave

Piacenti was not simply another commuter passing through Midtown. According to The New York Times, the 32-year-old Bank of America vice president was in her first week back at work after five months of maternity leave.

She had reportedly been walking home from work through Times Square when she was attacked seemingly at random. Just four days earlier, Piacenti had shared what would become a heartbreaking final social-media update.

In it, she posted a family photograph while holding her newborn daughter beside her husband, Frank. She wrote about how grateful she was for the five months she had spent on maternity leave, during which her daughter had recently been baptized.

The young family had also spent time traveling together, visiting Long Beach Island in New Jersey, Rhode Island, and Maine. The joyful update now stands in painful contrast to what happened only days later. Piacenti’s Instagram account is private, and her profile image features her alongside her husband.

The couple lived in Chester, New Jersey, and both graduated from Fordham Law School in 2021. Bank of America said it is “shocked and deeply saddened” by the loss of its colleague, describing Piacenti as a valued teammate who will be greatly missed.

Her death has also deeply affected the community where she lived. “This definitely shakes us up,” Chester resident Megan O’Hara said, noting that many residents in the area commute to New York. “It’s like a family member passed away,” she added.

Dan Matlaga, who previously worked in Manhattan, focused on the cruel randomness of what happened. “She was just somebody on their way home from work,” he said. “This is heartbreaking.”

A Standout Law Student with Another Side Few May Have Known About

Piacenti’s achievements stretched well beyond her career at Bank of America. She attended the University of Pennsylvania before attending Fordham Law, where she met her future husband.

Piacenti graduated magna cum laude and was inducted into the Order of the Coif, an honor society recognizing accomplished law graduates.

Fordham Law Dean Joseph Landau remembered her warmly in a message to alumni. “Erin was a vibrant and cherished member of the Fordham Law family,” he wrote, praising her “academic devotion, sharp legal mind, warmth and generosity to her peers.”

During her final year at Fordham, Piacenti served as editor of the Kaufman Competition, an annual securities-law tournament involving teams from schools across the country. Former fellow Fordham student Ashley Slater explained just how demanding the responsibility was.

“It takes someone who is highly dedicated, very intelligent and very organized,” Slater said. “It’s a very difficult position, and she made it look easy.” Yet there was another part of Piacenti’s life that showed a more creative side. While at the University of Pennsylvania, she belonged to an a cappella group called Dischord and appeared in videos of its performances.

An April 2015 YouTube performance shows Piacenti performing as a soloist with background vocalists on Ariana Grande’s “Love Me Harder.” It is a small glimpse into the life she lived long before becoming a lawyer, executive, wife and mother.

The Second Victim Has Now Been Identified

For a time, the surviving victim was described publicly only as a 68-year-old man. His identity has since emerged. The second victim was Tak Kam, a Rhode Island resident who had traveled to New York City to visit his son.

Kam had reportedly just left a subway station and was standing with his wife, waiting to cross the street, when Cisneros approached. According to USA Today, investigators were told that Cisneros pulled two knives from the red Target bag before waving them and stabbing Kam in the right side of his abdomen.

He was transported to Bellevue Hospital and was listed in stable condition. Authorities subsequently said Kam was expected to recover. Like Piacenti, there was no indication in the information released that Kam had any prior connection with Cisneros.

The two victims were attacked in rapid succession, turning what appeared to be an ordinary afternoon for both into something unimaginable.

Police Had Encountered Pamela Cisneros Years Earlier

Questions quickly emerged about Cisneros and whether authorities had previously encountered her. As it turns out, they had. Police Commissioner Tisch said Cisneros had two previous encounters with the NYPD, although she had no New York City criminal record. The first came on December 20, 2018.

Officers reportedly found Cisneros screaming and behaving belligerently on Lexington Avenue near East 49th Street in Midtown Manhattan. Police determined that she was intoxicated. Less than four months later, on March 6, 2019, Cisneros was involved in another serious incident.

According to the police report, she attempted to jump in front of a southbound E train at the Kew Gardens-Union Turnpike subway station in Queens. She survived. Those incidents became even more significant after Cisneros’ family began describing what they said had been a decades-long struggle with mental illness.

Her Brother Says the Family Never Expected Violence

Cisneros’ brother, Patrick Peralta, spoke about his sister’s history and her final years in a separate Daily News interview. Peralta said his sister had dealt with mental-health problems for approximately two decades, including multiple hospitalizations, post-partum depression, and the 2019 suicide attempt with the subway-track incident.

But he insisted that what happened in Times Square was unlike anything he had known her to do before. “I don’t know what was in her head,” Peralta said. “I can’t tell you what she was thinking or if she just completely went blank. I don’t know where that rage came from.”

Peralta remembered his younger sister very differently from the images that later circulated from Times Square. “She was a happy-go-lucky kid,” he recalled. He said her mental-health difficulties developed after she gave birth to the second of her three daughters. “She went off track after that,” he said.

According to Peralta, Cisneros had been hospitalized several times and received psychiatric treatment. He said she had previously taken medication through monthly injections because she struggled to consistently take daily medication.

“For the last six years now, she was getting injections and nothing was wrong,” he said. “As long as she got the medication, she was fine.” Peralta also noted he had recently learned that Cisneros had begun administering the injections herself.

He therefore wondered whether she had missed doses, though that was his speculation and has not been established as the cause of the attack. Cisneros had reportedly lived alone in Woodside and had been out of work before securing a job approximately three months earlier as an administrative assistant for a lawyer.

Her family had also noticed something unusual shortly before the incident. Peralta said Cisneros normally ate dinner with their parents almost every evening, but she did not show up during the week before the attack, prompting relatives to call and check on her.

He last saw his sister on August 8 for their father’s birthday. “She was fine. Normal,” he said. Their mother spoke with Cisneros by phone on Saturday, according to Peralta. Cisneros reportedly told her that she was fine.

A Facebook Message from Months Earlier Takes on an Eerie New Meaning

There was another detail that resurfaced following the attack. Months earlier, Cisneros had published a lengthy Facebook message centered on religion, what she described as the “end times,” and signs she believed were visible in the world around her.

Among wars, earthquakes, homelessness, drug use, and other societal problems, Cisneros referred to what she described as “the disminished [sic] love of people to the point of stabbing others for no reason.” The wording is particularly unsettling in light of what police say happened months later.

Elsewhere in the post, she wrote extensively about repentance, salvation, hatred, spiritual warfare, and what she described as voices telling people to harm themselves or others. At another point, however, Cisneros urged people to stop hating each other, writing, “Life is too short to be hating on each other.”

She concluded by encouraging people to help others and “be an agent of love.” Those contradictory themes have taken on new significance after the fatal encounter, though authorities have not publicly established that the post explains her actions months later.

Her Family Learned What Happened from the Viral Footage

Peralta said he recognized Cisneros after seeing cellphone footage of the Times Square confrontation on television. “I was shocked,” he said. “I’m still numb.” Something about the woman in the footage made him think she resembled his sister, prompting him to contact the Midtown South precinct.

Police later confirmed the devastating news. Peralta was then faced with telling two of Cisneros’ daughters, who live in Florida with their father, what had happened. Her third daughter, who Peralta said is autistic and nonverbal, lives in a Brooklyn group home and had regularly been visited by her mother.

Cisneros’ family expressed sorrow not only over her death, but also for the strangers she was accused of attacking. “My entire family feels so sorry for the two people, the one that passed away and the one who was hurt,” Peralta said. “We are so sorry. We never thought this would happen.”

For Piacenti’s family, meanwhile, the tragedy came at what should have been an especially joyful time. She had a five-month-old daughter, had recently returned to a career in which she had already risen to vice president, and had shared her gratitude for the months she had just spent with her new family. Four days after that final celebration, a routine walk home from work became her last.
