Teen Brothers Hide Their Famous Uncle “Bruno Mars”… Then STUN the Judges With an Original Song!

Talent shows are full of surprises, but this audition delivered one of the biggest twists of the season! 🤯 Two teenage brothers walked onto the stage looking calm and humble, giving no hint that they had a connection to one of the world’s biggest music stars. What happened next left the judges—and the audience—completely speechless. 🎶✨

\

As the brothers introduced themselves, they shared their passion for writing and performing music. 😊 They explained that they had prepared an original song, hoping to show everyone who they were as artists. At first, nothing seemed out of the ordinary… until the judges started asking more about their family. 👀🎤

That’s when the shocking revelation came. 😲 The brothers casually mentioned that their famous uncle was Bruno Mars🌟 The audience gasped, and the judges couldn’t believe what they had just heard. Instead of relying on that famous connection, however, the teens made it clear they wanted to earn recognition through their own talent and hard work. 👏❤️

With the spotlight on them, the brothers picked up their instruments and began performing their original song. 🎸🎵 From the very first note, it was obvious they weren’t depending on a famous last name. Their harmonies blended beautifully, the lyrics were heartfelt, and the melody was instantly memorable. 💖🎶

The audience quickly became captivated. As the song built, cheers and applause echoed throughout the theater. 🌈👏 The brothers performed with confidence, authenticity, and a chemistry that only siblings can share. Their passion shined through every lyric, making the performance feel both personal and inspiring. ✨

The judges watched with huge smiles, clearly impressed by the duo’s songwriting and stage presence. 😍 They praised the brothers for stepping out of their famous relative’s shadow and proving they had their own unique voices. Rather than trying to imitate anyone else, they showcased a style that felt fresh and genuine. 🌟🎤

When the final note faded, the entire audience jumped to its feet for a thunderous standing ovation. 🎉👏 The judges applauded their originality, musicianship, and courage to perform their own song on such a massive stage.

After the audition aired, social media exploded with excitement. 📱🔥 Fans couldn’t stop talking about the surprise family connection and, even more importantly, the brothers’ incredible performance.

JD Vance Opens Up About His Wife Usha in a Way That Has People Divided

The renewed discussion also resurfaced earlier interviews in which the vice president spoke about Usha, defended her against attacks, and addressed broader questions about ethnicity and race.

A comment made during high-level diplomatic talks in Switzerland has put JD Vance’s public references to his wife, Usha Vance, back in the spotlight. While some people viewed the remark as a lighthearted joke, others questioned why he has repeatedly referred to her by her ethnicity in public appearances.

The latest discussion began during the high-level talks, where Vice President JD Vance led the U.S. delegation in negotiations with Iranian officials following an interim agreement aimed at ending the conflict. According to the Associated Press via The Hill, the talks focused on the next steps in implementing the agreement.

A Diplomatic Meeting Set the Story in Motion

NPR reported that Vance also met with Pakistani representatives helping broker the negotiations, including Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Field Marshal Asim Munir.

During those diplomatic events, Vance made a remark that quickly spread online. According to a video shared on X, Vance said:

“I have joked that I have two very, very important people in my life. An Indian and a Pakistani. The Indian is my wife, and the Pakistani is Field Marshal Munir.”

As the clip spread online, people began revisiting earlier interviews in which Vance had also spoken publicly about his wife’s ethnicity.

The Switzerland Comment Wasn’t the First

During a July 2024 appearance on The Megyn Kelly Show, he discussed attacks directed at his family while defending Usha.

“I love my wife so much. I love her because she’s who she is. Obviously, she’s not a white person, and we’ve been ACC attacked by some white supremacists over that, but I love Usha; she’s such a good mom. She’s such a brilliant lawyer, and I’m so proud of her.”

More than a year later, Vance returned to the subject during a December 2025 interview with UnHerd.

Vance Later Addressed Ethnicity More Directly

Responding to a question about criticism directed at him and his wife during the interview, he said, “On Fuentes, I’ve criticised him in the past, but let me be clear: anyone who attacks my wife, whether their name is Jen Psaki or Nick Fuentes, can eat [expletive]. That’s my official policy as vice president of the United States.”

He then explained his broader views on ethnicity. “And my attitude towards anybody, again, who is calling for judging people based on their ethnic heritage, whether they’re Jewish or white or anything else, it’s disgusting. We shouldn’t be doing it.”

The remarks represented one of his clearest public statements rejecting the idea of judging people based on their ethnic background.

Online Discussions Reflected Differing Viewpoints

In a 2026 discussion on Reddit, one person wrote, “I don’t get it, how is there so much racism with an Indian wife? I mean both P and VP have immigrant wives. It just feels so contradictory.”

After the Switzerland remarks circulated online, HuffPost revisited Vance’s public references to Usha Vance‘s Indian heritage.

Experts Discussed the Broader Conversation

The publication cited ethnic studies experts who said that, in some circumstances, repeatedly referring to a nonwhite spouse while responding to discussions about racism can be interpreted by some audiences as a rhetorical strategy or a “dog whistle.”

The experts also emphasized that having a spouse of another race does not, by itself, establish a person’s views on race.

Donald Trump Announces Karoline Leavitt Is Leaving Her White House Role

President Donald Trump has announced that the White House Press Secretary will leave her role at the end of August, bringing an unexpected change to the administration less than three months before the 2026 midterm elections.

At 28, Karoline Leavitt has become one of the most recognizable faces of President Trump’s second administration. But the road to the White House podium began several years before she took the job — and the events that eventually led her away from it unfolded much more recently.

Leavitt’s rise through Trump’s political world was already well underway before she became the face of his White House messaging operation. She previously worked in the White House press office during Trump’s first administration and later served as communications director for Rep. Elise Stefanik, according to TheWrap.

Before She Became Trump’s Press Secretary

In 2022, Leavitt ran for Congress in New Hampshire. She won the Republican nomination but lost the general election to Democratic Rep. Chris Pappas.

She later joined Trump’s political operation, serving as a spokeswoman for his transition team and as national press secretary for his 2024 presidential campaign. That experience eventually brought her back to the White House, where she became one of the administration’s most visible public voices.

She Took a Different Approach to the Podium

Once Leavitt became press secretary, her role quickly became about more than traditional White House briefings. At her first briefing in January 2025, she announced that the administration would open press credentials to podcasters, social media influencers and other “new media” journalists.

The change reflected her argument that the White House needed to adapt to the way Americans consume news.

Leavitt also presided over a major change in how the administration handled the White House press pool. The Trump administration took control of determining which news organizations would participate, a responsibility traditionally handled by the independent White House Correspondents’ Association.

The move drew objections from the organization and some news outlets over concerns about editorial independence and access. Leavitt also frequently clashed with members of the traditional press corps while defending Trump’s administration, making criticism of legacy media a recurring part of her briefings.

According to CNN, that made her departure more significant than simply losing another White House spokesperson. Leavitt had developed an understanding of Trump’s political instincts and became a key part of the administration’s effort to communicate with the public.

Then Her Life Outside the White House Changed

The next major chapter came in the spring of 2026, when Leavitt prepared to welcome her second child. On April 24, during a press gaggle, Leavitt joked that she was “about ready to have a baby any minute.”

A little over a week later, that moment arrived. Leavitt welcomed her daughter, Viviana, nicknamed “Vivi,” on May 1, 2026. Five days later, on May 7, she publicly announced the birth on Instagram, writing, “On May 1st, Viviana aka ‘Vivi’ joined our family, and our hearts instantly exploded with love. 💕”

She continued, “She is perfect and healthy, and her big brother is joyfully adjusting to life with his new baby sister.” Leavitt also gave followers a glimpse of those first days with her newborn, writing, “We are enjoying every moment in our blissful newborn bubble.”

The photo showed Leavitt holding her daughter in a cozy nursery, dressed casually in a pink cardigan and gray sweatpants. The image offered a rare look at the press secretary away from the podium, surrounded by the softer details of life with a newborn.

She Returned to a Job That Never Slows Down

After maternity leave, Leavitt returned to the White House and resumed one of the administration’s most demanding public-facing positions. That return would ultimately force her to confront a difficult question about how much time and energy she could continue giving to the job.

According to Leavitt’s statement, the months after her daughter’s birth changed the way she viewed the demands of the position. She later explained that serving as press secretary had been “the honor and adventure of a lifetime,” recalling her time in the West Wing, the Oval Office, overseas travel and meetings with foreign leaders and Americans across the country.

But her return after giving birth brought a realization she could no longer ignore.

“The truth is since returning to the White House after the birth of my daughter, I have felt in my heart that I cannot be the best mom my two young children deserve while devoting the constant time, energy, and attention required of the White House Press Secretary — and that is why I have ultimately made the bittersweet decision to depart the White House and embark on a new chapter in my life.”

Then Trump Made the Announcement

On August 12, Trump publicly announced that Leavitt would leave her role at the end of the month. In his Truth Social post, Trump wrote:

“Our wonderful White House Press Secretary, and one of my most trusted aides, Karoline Leavitt, will be departing her role at the end of the month so she can spend more time with her beautiful young children and family, a decision I totally understand and respect!”

The phrase “one of my most trusted aides” offered a glimpse into just how highly Trump viewed the woman who had spent the past year and a half speaking for his administration.

Trump went further, saying, “Karoline will now be one of my top outside advisors, and an influential voice within the Republican Party, as we work to defy History, and conclusively win the Midterm Elections.”

He also praised her work in the White House, saying she had been a real leader and had done a “phenomenal job fighting for Justice, Liberty, and Freedom.” Trump added that Leavitt had been “one of the best White House Press Secretaries in the History of the Office.”

Leavitt Is Leaving the Podium, Not the Movement

Leavitt’s own statement made clear that her political involvement will continue. “President Trump has asked me to continue serving as a top advisor to him on the outside, and I will always remain a vocal advocate for MAGA and the Republican Party.”

She continued, “Our country is facing an existential threat from an increasingly extremist Democrat Party that seeks to destroy everything great about America, and I believe it is incumbent upon all of us who care about this country to fight back against that threat. My fight is entering a new phase, but it is far from over.”

She also thanked Trump, first lady Melania Trump, the Trump family, Chief of Staff Susie Wiles, her Cabinet colleagues, staff, colleagues and friends at the White House.

Her final thanks went to her family. “And of course, thank you most especially to my loving and supportive husband and family for the sacrifices they made for me to serve in this role.”

Now Trump Has to Find Her Replacement

Leavitt’s departure leaves the White House with a major vacancy at a politically important time. Her final day comes less than three months before the November midterm elections, when Trump will be looking to keep his party’s momentum behind his administration.

According to the New York Post, Trump had not yet decided who would replace Leavitt. Among the early names being discussed are Alina Habba, the former U.S. attorney for New Jersey, and Matthew Boyle, Breitbart’s Washington bureau chief.

Habba previously served as one of Trump’s defense lawyers and became known for her televised defenses of the president. She also briefly worked in the West Wing as a counselor before becoming New Jersey’s top prosecutor.

Boyle is another figure familiar to Trump, having interviewed the president several times, including in the Oval Office. Other potential contenders include former White House deputy chief of staff for communications and personnel Taylor Budowich and current White House communications director Steven Cheung.

For now, however, the next person behind the podium remains unknown.

Nicole Kidman, 59, Opens Up About Life After Keith Urban and the Warning She Got Before Marrying Tom Cruise — Photos

Nicole Kidman is looking back on some of the biggest turning points of her life as she begins a new chapter — but one decision she made at just 22 came with a warning she was determined to ignore. Now, after another major change in her personal life, the actress is revealing what it feels like to face a future she never expected.

From a whirlwind marriage to Tom Cruise to her painful split from Keith Urban, the actress has plenty to look back on. Nicole Kidman is stepping into a new chapter with her heart open, but her latest interview shows just how much of her past still informs the woman she is today.

The 59-year-old actress is the cover star of British Vogue’s September 2026 issue, where she sat down with Giles Hattersley in London for a wide-ranging conversation about her career, family, fashion and the changes in her personal life.

Kidman Is Entering a Very Different Chapter

In the British Vogue interview, Kidman comes across as remarkably relaxed despite the enormous attention that has followed her for decades. At one point, she jokingly describes herself as “stealth,” explaining that she has become good at moving through cities without attracting too much attention.

That has not stopped her from enjoying an unusually busy summer. Kidman revealed that she had been traveling between London, Ibiza, Paris and Portofino, calling it her “Euro summer.”

She even found herself unexpectedly onstage with a band in Portofino, tambourine in hand, while also making time for Wimbledon and London theater outings.

Her connection to fashion is deeply rooted in her upbringing, with the actress crediting her mother and grandmother — both skilled seamstresses and embroiderers — for showing her that a love of beautiful clothes could exist alongside an intellectual life.

That lifelong passion was on full display at the Chanel Cruise show in Biarritz in April, where she turned heads in a black column dress and tiny sunglasses.

But when Hattersley asked how she manages to appear so at ease when all eyes are on her, Kidman traced that confidence back to something that happened when she was barely out of her teens.

“Strangely enough, I feel comfortable. Is that weird? That’s so weird,” she said, laughing. “But you have to remember, literally, because of who I married at such a young age, I was thrust into it since I was 22.”

Suddenly, cameras, flashbulbs, and fashion were unavoidable parts of her life, and the actress was constantly aware that people were watching her.

Although Kidman said she is naturally shy, years of living in that environment have made stepping into the spotlight feel almost instinctive. “[My life has been] more time like that than not. My memory of it not being that is quite blurry, because I was really young.”

She Was Only 22 When Everything Changed

That transformation in Kidman’s life began around the same time she married Cruise, whom she met while establishing herself in Hollywood.

“Yeah, I got married so young,” she recalled. “Suddenly I was 22, 23 years old and I had this huge movie star husband. But it just seemed completely natural. We just fell madly in love, and it was that simple.”

The marriage lasted a decade, and Kidman said the experience changed not only her personal life but also the way the public viewed her career. That is where a piece of advice she received at the time becomes particularly interesting.

The Warning Kidman Refused to Take

People around Kidman apparently worried that marrying Cruise could have consequences for her career. The actress remembered being warned that becoming Cruise’s wife could overshadow her professionally — a concern she had little interest in entertaining while she was in love:

“I remember people saying to me, ‘OK, well this is really going to affect your career.’ I’m like, ‘I don’t care. I’m in love. I want to be married.’ And then I was his ‘wife,’ and they were like, ‘See, we told you.’ I’m like, ‘So what? I wasn’t meant to marry the man I love? Of course I’ll throw my career away. I don’t care.”

The irony is hard to miss now. Decades later, Kidman has one of the most recognizable careers in Hollywood, with an Oscar, major film and television roles, and a reputation for taking on projects that constantly reinvent her.

Then Came Kidman’s Second Marriage – And Another Unexpected Ending

Kidman’s second marriage was to country music star Urban, whom she married in 2006. The couple spent 19 years together and raised two daughters, Sunday Rose and Faith Margaret Kidman Urban, before Kidman filed for divorce from Urban in Nashville last September.

According to Vogue, the divorce was finalized in January 2026, with “irreconcilable differences” cited. The former couple agreed to shared custody, neither sought spousal support, and neither had to appear in court.

Kidman did not delve into what caused the marriage to end. Instead, she spoke about what it has been like to find herself facing a future she never expected.

Kidman Is Facing a Future She Never Saw Coming

When asked how she would describe this period of her life, Kidman initially considered phrases such as “Free falling?” and “Jumping off?” Then she settled on a much simpler question:

“Like, where am I going? And what’s next?”

She acknowledged that the past year has not been easy, particularly because the life she imagined for herself did not turn out as planned.

“But at the same time I’m like, ‘OK, I didn’t expect this. I had a different view of what my life was going to be, but this is what it is now.’ You make all these plans, and you have all these ideas of what it’s all going to be like, and then it’s… not. You have to adjust. You adapt. The future, it’s completely unknown to me right now.” She paused, then added, “Strange.”

During the interview, Kidman also admitted that, “There was a point where I was very fearful and deeply vulnerable, which is exposing. And then at the same time [I’m] going,” she said. “Well, I can either really not confront it and just curl up, or I can just go forward with an enormous amount of hope.”

She went on, “It requires time, and I have had so many older women in my life who are incredible mentors,” she says. “I had my mother, and then I have another woman who sort of helped raise me since I was 16.”

“Part of the way they approach life was sometimes [to say to me]: ‘Nicole, you just got to take it on the chin.’ Once you accept that, instead of going, ‘Well that’s not fair or it’s unjust,’ you go, ‘Well, yes, actually it isn’t fair. Because things are not fair,” she added.

Kidman was also asked whether having experienced a highly publicized divorce before had given her any useful preparation for navigating another major breakup.

Her reaction was immediate. “It’s all new.” When asked if she meant every time, she laughed and replied, “Every time!” Rather than suggesting that age or experience had made this particular transition easier, Kidman emphasized that she is still learning how to handle whatever life puts in front of her.

“I’ve approached my whole life like that,” she said of her tendency to lead with her feelings. “That’s just who I am. I don’t overthink things, and I’m probably not that analytical.”

“I’m far more feeling-centered, and I lead with my heart. I just go, ‘OK, what do I feel here? I’ll give it a go.’ It throws people, because I think they think I’ll be far more measured and I’m not,” she continued.

She said she wants to continue living with an openness to mistakes, failure, love and possibility.

I can still approach things intellectually,” she continued, “but my desire is not to be ruled by my head. I’ve always wanted to live a well-examined life, so what does that entail? Trying things, making mistakes, failing, getting back up, moving on, embracing love, staying open, keeping the heart open and the possibilities.”

Her Children Remain at the Center of Everything

For all the uncertainty surrounding her personal life, Kidman made one thing clear: her children remain her priority. She described family as “an extraordinary purpose” and said everything else becomes secondary when it comes to her children.

Her message to them is simple and reassuring. “‘It’s OK, we’re here. You’ve got people who love you, who are going to hold your hand and get through it.'”

That perspective is especially notable given Kidman’s complicated history with her two older adopted children, Isabella and Connor Cruise, whom she shares with the “Mission: Impossible” actor.

In a previous interview, Kidman has said, “I’m very private about all that. I have to protect all those relationships. I know 150 percent that I would give up my life for my children because it’s what my purpose is.”

Speaking specifically about her adopted children, she added, “They are adults. They are able to make their own decisions. They have made choices to be Scientologists, and as a mother, it’s my job to love them.”

She continued, “And I am an example of that tolerance, and that’s what I believe – that no matter what your child does, the child has love and the child has to know there is available love and I’m open here.”

The Family History Has Always Been Complicated

Kidman’s relationship with her adopted children has remained largely outside the public eye.

In a previous Hollywood Reporter interview, she similarly declined to publicly discuss the family’s private dynamics, saying, “I’ve chosen not to speak publicly about Scientology. I have two children [adopted with Cruise] who are Scientologists — Connor [the Red Dawn actor is now 17] and Isabella [20] — and I utterly respect their beliefs.”

That history makes what happened after Kidman’s latest British Vogue appearance particularly noticeable.

After British Vogue shared its post promoting Kidman’s September cover and interview, the actress’s adopted daughter appeared to show support for her mother in a subtle way: She liked the post.

The post described Kidman as “spellbinding” and promoted the interview as a conversation about “power moves, mega fashion and the art of a fresh start.”

The accompanying image showed Kidman standing in a doorway, one hand resting above her head as she looked directly into the camera. She wore a white funnel-neck top beneath a blue-and-red sweatshirt, straight-leg jeans, brown heels and sunglasses, with a handbag tucked behind her shoulder.

Kidman herself marked the Vogue cover with a message of her own on August 13, writing, “What an honor, thank you for my first @britishvogue cover @chiomannadi @venetialscott @gileshattersley @sergiokletnoy @poppykain @hairbyadir @fulviafarolfi.”

The Vogue moment also comes after Nicole Kidman‘s May 10 Mother’s Day post, in which she celebrated her daughters with the “But for the Grace of God” musician. She captioned the post, “To my beautiful girls, the greatest joy is being your mother. Happy Mother’s Day to all the mothers in the world. 🩷🩷🩷”

Kidman Is Looking Forward, Even Without Knowing Exactly Where She Is Going

She has returned to a perfume she had not worn since her early 20s, immersed herself in poetry and art, traveled through Europe, spent time with her daughters and continued working at a remarkable pace. She is also preparing for the release of “Practical Magic 2,” nearly three decades after the original film became a cult favorite.

But beneath the fashion, movie promotion, and glamorous summer snapshots, her British Vogue interview reveals something much more personal: Kidman is learning to live with uncertainty without letting it close her off.

“I know my character. I know my talent. I know who I am,” she said. “If I make a mistake and it doesn’t connect, or something goes wrong in my life where it’s humiliating, it’s OK. Other people have had that, and that’s OK. Take the onus off it.”

Céline Dion Opens Up About Her Life Now as She Prepares for Her Long-Awaited Return to the Stage

For years, Céline Dion’s return to the stage seemed like a question without an easy answer. Now, as she prepares to perform in Paris again, the singer is revealing just how much had to change before she could even imagine making that comeback.

In a new Harper’s Bazaar cover interview, Céline Marie Claudette Dion opens up about her health, her relationship with performing, and the grueling work she has put into getting her body ready for her next chapter.

Her five-week Paris residency is scheduled to begin in September, marking her first headlining concerts in six years. For the “It’s All Coming Back to Me Now” singer, though, getting back onstage is about much more than booking another run of shows.

The Comeback Began with Getting Her Body Back

Dion had already tried to return to the stage before revealing the full extent of what she was facing. In May 2021, she announced plans to return to the stage at Resorts World Las Vegas, but the shows were postponed because of health problems, according to her official biography.

On December 8, 2022, the Canadian singer publicly revealed that she had been diagnosed with stiff-person syndrome. This rare autoimmune neurological disorder can cause severe muscle stiffness and, in some cases, leave people barely able to move.

Before the diagnosis, however, Dion had already spent years trying to understand what was happening to her. She told Harper’s Bazaar that she had been experiencing symptoms for 17 years before finally receiving a formal diagnosis.

During that time, she sometimes canceled performances citing a sinus infection or cough, when the problems she was actually experiencing were much more serious.

At her worst, the pain could make it difficult for her to walk. She also described days when she needed a high dose of Valium simply to function.

The extent of what she was living through became even clearer in the 2024 documentary I Am: Céline Dion, which showed her struggling through an episode that left her crying, unable to move or communicate.

For someone who had performed since childhood, the forced distance from the stage was particularly painful.

The “That’s the Way It Is” artiste had performed only once in the six years leading up to the Harper’s Bazaar interview — at the 2024 Paris Olympics — and she has spoken about how difficult it was to disappoint fans without being able to fully explain what was happening.

She eventually suspended her tour in 2023, after years of canceling shows and trying to keep going despite symptoms she did not yet understand.

Her Comeback Required More Than a Microphone

Once Dion finally had an answer, there was no quick fix. She committed to intensive rehabilitation, including new medications, physical therapy, vocal therapy and immunotherapy.

And that was only part of the work. As she prepares for the Paris shows, Dion is doing 90-minute Pilates sessions three times a week. On two other days, she takes ballet classes with a local company.

The routine is demanding, but movement has become especially important for Dion because stiff-person syndrome can cause her muscles to freeze. Her trainer, Naomi, even told her that she was becoming more flexible during one session. Dion’s immediate response was to ask, “Too flexible?”

The answer, thankfully, was no. The physical progress has given Dion something she had been working toward for years: greater control over her body and its abilities.

She described the period as repeatedly falling and getting back up, and said she is proud of achieving something her body was not “born to do.”

The Three Things Dion Wanted Her Body to Do Again

That determination reaches back much further than her diagnosis. As a child, Dion dreamed of becoming a gymnast after watching Nadia Comaneci earn perfect scores at the 1976 Olympics. She eventually abandoned that dream after becoming too tall for gymnastics, but the desire to push her body never completely disappeared.

Years later, she set herself three simple physical goals. The first was to be able to sit straight. “I wanted to sit straight, and I could not. I basically sat like this,” Dion recalled during the interview with Harper’s Bazaar, demonstrating the hunched posture she once struggled with.

The other two goals were to touch her toes and do the splits. Now? she can do all three. And the image of Dion sliding into a wide split during her Pilates session is a striking measure of just how far she has come.

She Spent Years Hiding From the Fans Who Never Left

The physical transformation was only part of Dion’s recovery. After her symptoms began flaring in 2020, she spent years largely isolated. She said she did not want fans to see her and assume she was living a full, happy life while continuing to cancel performances.

During that period, she found comfort in nature and came to see her situation differently. Dion described imagining herself disappearing among the leaves of a tree because she could no longer give fans the “apples” they had always come to her for. Then came a thought that stayed with her: “But we did not come for the apples; we came for the tree.”

For Dion, the realization was profound. Her fans had not simply come for perfect performances. They had come for her. That helped her understand why she felt she owed them an explanation after years of uncertainty.

“They paid for tickets,” she said. “They bought my records. They gave me that luxury. So the least I can do is tell them that I’m alive.”

Her Comeback Is Bigger Than a Paris Residency

Dion announced her return to Paris in a video shared on her official Instagram account, telling fans that she was feeling stronger and was ready to perform again.

“I wanted to let you know that I’m doing great, managing my health. I’m feeling good, I’m singing again, even doing a little bit of dancing, obviously, I love it so much,” she said.

She then revealed the news she had been building toward. “But I have to tell you something very important. Over the last few years, every day that’s gone by, I’ve felt your prayers and support, your kindness and love.” Dion described the opportunity to return to the stage as a deeply personal gift:

“This year, I’m getting the best birthday gift of my life. I’m getting the chance to see you, to perform for you once again in Paris, beginning in September.”

She acknowledged that the comeback came with mixed emotions. “I’m feeling good, I’m strong, I’m feeling excited, obviously a little nervous, but most of all, I’m grateful to all of you. I love you all, and I’ll see you soon.” The response from fans was immediate. Tickets sold quickly enough that additional dates for a 2027 residency have already begun selling.

Dion knows the comeback will require more than simply walking onto a stage again. According to the interview with the publication, the singer’s head of wardrobe and creative adviser, Annie Horth, teased a “grandiose” production designed to show the different sides of the singer, from intimate moments to the full force of her voice.

This ‘Beverly Hills, 90210’ Heartthrob Left Fame Behind Years Ago — See His Life Today in Photos

A former “Beverly Hills, 90210” heartthrob seemed to disappear from Hollywood at the height of his fame. Years later, photos of his life tell a story few fans ever saw coming.

For a generation of TV viewers, he was the dark-haired musician who suddenly appeared on one of the biggest teen dramas of the 1990s. But while many stars chased bigger roles after tasting fame, this former teen idol quietly chose a very different path.

Decades later, his photos reveal a man who looks strikingly familiar, even if his life no longer resembles the one fans once watched unfold on television.

Before He Became a Teen Idol, He Was Just a Kid With a Guitar

Long before he found himself walking red carpets and appearing on magazine covers, the future star was simply a boy growing up north of Boston with a passion for music. According to his IMDb biography, he was born in Marblehead, Massachusetts, and discovered music early in life.

In a 1995 interview, he explained that his father gave him a guitar when he was 12 years old and that the instrument quickly became more than a hobby. “My dad gave me a guitar when I was 12. His hobby was music. I got influenced by Jimi Hendrix,” he said in an interview published by the Toledo Blade.

He began playing in garage bands around age 13 and later moved to New York, where he studied film at New York University and trained at The Actors Space.

Acting, however, was not part of his original plan. He once admitted that if he had been forced to choose between acting and music, he would have preferred the latter.

A No. 1 Song Changed Everything

His first brush with major fame arrived in 1991. After appearing in a Levi’s 501 commercial and starring alongside John Travolta in “Shout,” he landed a role in Fox’s short-lived musical drama “The Heights.”

The series did not last long, but it produced an unexpected hit. The show’s theme song, “How Do You Talk to an Angel,” soared to No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100, instantly turning its singer into a recognizable face and voice.

Music remained his first love, and industry executives hoped he would become much more than another actor trying his hand at singing. A 1995 Billboard report noted that Atlantic Records signed him before he ever joined “Beverly Hills, 90210.” At the time, his self-titled album had climbed to No. 4 on the Heatseekers chart, while his single “Hold On” was making its way up the Hot 100, ultimately peaking at No. 16.

Even so, he understood that success on television could become both a blessing and a burden. “It’s a double-edged sword,” he told the magazine.

“I get to be on a hit show that tons of people watch, play music on the show, and at the same time, I have to take crap from everyone for being on that show. And I will continue to get flak for it. It’s a drag.”

The Character Viewers Loved to Hate

His next role introduced him to millions of new fans. Joining “Beverly Hills, 90210” as aspiring musician Ray Pruit, he quickly became involved with Donna Martin, played by Tori Spelling.

At first, the pairing appeared to be a perfect fit. After all, producers had specifically sought an actor who could sing. “They were looking for someone who could sing to bring something different to the show,” he said in the Toledo Blade interview.

“I’m lucky because I get to sing my songs.” But what initially seemed like an opportunity to showcase his music eventually turned into something much more complicated.

Ray’s storyline darkened as writers explored domestic abuse through his relationship with Donna, culminating in one of the show’s most controversial moments.

Years later, the actor recalled being shocked when he first read the script. “What the [expletive] is this?” he remembered thinking during an interview with Entertainment Weekly.

“Like, this is not good, this is not good for my career.” Producers assured him they were trying to address important issues, but viewers struggled to separate fact from fiction.

People confronted him in grocery stores. Some scolded him for hurting Donna. Others sent hate mail. One woman experiencing chest pain even recognized him during an emergency call years later and asked why he had been “so mean to Donna.”

The backlash eventually spilled over into his music career. Speaking to Entertainment Weekly, Jamie said fans struggled to separate him from Ray and that many stopped supporting his records after the abusive storyline aired.

By the end of Season 6, Ray was written off the show. Looking back, Jamie suggested producers may have realized there was little room left for the character after making him physically abusive toward Donna.

“I think they realized they kind of painted themselves into a corner,” he said. Yet despite the backlash, he still speaks warmly about his castmates and remembers traveling with Spelling for promotional appearances. “Tori was a lot of fun,” he later said. “We just had a good time.”

The Heartthrob Behind Ray Pruit

By the mid-1990s, his popularity had spread far beyond television. Teen magazines featured him regularly. Mall appearances attracted thousands of screaming fans. Record executives hoped he could become one of the decade’s next major music stars.

And while viewers debated Ray Pruitt’s on-screen actions, the actor portraying him, Jamie Walters, was experiencing a whirlwind romance off-camera.

It involved one of Hollywood’s biggest young stars. At the time, however, he rarely spoke publicly about the relationship. Instead, he hinted that it had already taught him something important.

In 1995, while discussing his personal life, he offered a surprisingly candid remark. “I learned my lesson,” he added, saying he was engaged to an actress at the time.

Then came an even more memorable line. “Actresses drove me up the wall.” The comments sparked curiosity among fans, especially since the pair had once seemed inseparable. But that relationship — and what happened after it ended — would leave a mark on him in more ways than one.

A Romance That Once Seemed Headed for Marriage

Fans who followed his career in the early 1990s may have remembered that the actor was involved with another rising Hollywood star. The relationship began in 1992, shortly after she gained renewed attention following “Poison Ivy,” and while he was enjoying the success of “How Do You Talk to an Angel.”

According to a podcast episode discussing the July 1992 issue of Interview magazine, the actress, then 17, appeared in a controversial photo spread alongside Jamie, her then-boyfriend, who also took part in the interview and several of the photos.

Soon after the magazine was completed, the couple became engaged. That actress was none other than Drew Barrymore.

Years later, Jamie looked back on their relationship fondly. In an interview with The U.S. Sun, he recalled being introduced to Drew through their shared agent. “My agent was like, ‘Hey, Drew Barrymore is interested in meeting you, and she invited you to this party,'” he said. “So, I went, met her, we ended up hitting it off, and we were together for a couple of years and had a great time.”

He revealed that they eventually moved in together and even planned for the future. “We ended up living together and were engaged for a little while,” he said. “That was a fun time in my life. She was great, we had a great relationship together.”

Why He Said He ‘Learned His Lesson’

Despite their romance, the engagement ultimately ended in 1993. Asked years later what happened, Jamie offered a simple explanation. “I think we were just both really young and we were busy with our careers and that’s why it didn’t pan out.” He added that he still had “really fond memories” of their relationship and was pleased to know Drew appeared to feel the same way.

Yet his comments from the 1990s suggested the breakup had also taught him something. In a November 1994 interview summarized by Gannett News Service, Jamie admitted:

“I really learned a lesson …”

Friends had warned him against making one particular decision. “Don’t do it! You get her name on you, man, anywhere, and within a year it’s gonna be over.” By then, fans had discovered that Jamie had tattooed Drew’s name across his back. After their split, he decided to alter it. “I had it touched up… It’s not exactly gone, but the specifics have changed,” he explained.

Drew Had Something to Say Years Later

Decades after they called off their engagement, Drew unexpectedly brought Jamie’s name back into the spotlight. As reported by Entertainment Tonight, she reunited with Tori Spelling and Jennie Garth on “The Drew Barrymore Show” and fondly remembered their past romance.

“Oh my god, Jamie Walters! My boyfriend at the time,” Drew exclaimed. “I totally dated Jamie Walters. I was engaged to him!”

Tori described him as “such a good guy,” while Jennie quickly chimed in, “He still is.” Jamie later admitted he was touched by their comments. “I’m flattered that she still thinks highly of me,” he said.

Trading Hollywood for Something Entirely Different

By then, however, Jamie’s life looked nothing like it had during his teen idol years. The actor and musician eventually decided that fame was no longer enough.

In his late 20s, he began thinking about stability and family life. According to Entertainment Weekly, he realized he wanted to “start a family and do some other things” with his life.

He began applying to the Los Angeles Fire Department. The process proved grueling. “I started having second thoughts about this career path, and I’d always been interested in becoming a firefighter,” Jamie told The U.S. Sun.

“It took like three years, the process, from the time you take the written and you have medical exams, background checks, psychological, more physical agility checks.” He finally entered the training academy in 2003.

Today, Jamie works as a firefighter-paramedic and has spent more than two decades serving with the Los Angeles Fire Department. “I’ve been with the fire department now for twenty years, and I’ll continue with this until my body says I can’t do it anymore,” he said.

He is also a father of four. His personal life also changed significantly after he left Hollywood. In 2015, TMZ reported that Jamie’s wife, Patricia Walters, filed for divorce after 12 years of marriage.

The outlet reported that the former actor, who had already traded show business for emergency services, would share custody of their children if Patricia’s request was approved.

A few weeks later, TMZ revealed that Jamie had requested spousal support for himself. At the same time, court filings reportedly showed that Patricia, a podiatrist, had become the family’s primary breadwinner while he continued working as a firefighter-paramedic.

Despite the changes in his personal life, Jamie has said he has no regrets about stepping away from acting. “I’m thankful that I was able to switch gears and do something that I’m proud of and that my kids find interesting and cool,” he told The U.S. Sun.

“I still have a lot of friends that are in that business, but it’s a tough business. Unless you’re doing well, it’s a struggle to raise a family.”

Though he stepped away from Hollywood, music remains a major part of his life. According to Entertainment Tonight, fans even got a chance to see him back in the “90210” orbit in 2019, when Jamie made a guest appearance as himself on the meta-revival “BH90210,” nearly two decades after the original series ended.

And while acting may no longer be his full-time job, Jamie hasn’t ruled out returning someday. “I would love to get back involved in acting if the opportunity arose when my time with the fire service comes to an end.”

When media of the now-57-year-old began circulating online, fans who remembered the brooding heartthrob of the 1990s were caught off guard. A Reddit thread in the r/BeverlyHills90210 community captured the moment fans got their first good look at Jamie’s life today — and the reactions said it all.

“It’s weird that he looks completely different, yet exactly the same. Can you imagine calling 911 and he shows up to help you? He can rescue me in an emergency any time,” marveled one fan. Another kept it simple: “He looks great! Good for him for having a a [sic] good job that helps people.” Others were more blunt: “Almost unrecognizable! So happy for him!” and “He looks so different.”

For someone who once seemed destined to spend his life in front of cameras, Jamie ultimately chose a profession far removed from television sets and screaming fans.

Yet decades after “Beverly Hills, 90210,” his former co-stars, his famous ex-fiancée, and longtime viewers still appear to remember him for something other than Ray Pruit — simply for being, as Tori once put it, “such a good guy.”

A Promising Star With Everything Ahead

Long before the headlines turned tragic, Jack was the kind of player programs dream about. A four-star recruit out of Columbus, Ohio, he quickly made a name for himself as a versatile, high-upside athlete who could dominate on either side of the ball.

According to reports on his recruitment, coaches and analysts alike saw a future star in the making. By the time he committed to Wisconsin, the decision seemed like a perfect fit — his family even described how he “checked every box” before proudly declaring,

His father, Dan Pugh, told AllBadgers.com, “He checked every box, and so he said, ‘You know, I’m a Badger.’ He just told us in the car ride home.”

Life Beyond the Field

Jack spent the 2021 to 2023 seasons with the Wisconsin football program, building relationships that teammates would later describe as genuine and unforgettable.

Before that, he had already gained national attention as a four-star prospect, as detailed in a recruiting coverage highlighting his versatility and rising profile. Off the field, he was known for something even more lasting — his personality.

A Sudden Goodbye to Football

Then, in 2023, came a decision that caught many off guard. At just 22 years old, Jack stepped away from football.

At the time, it was simply explained as a personal choice — one rooted in a desire for a different path. To outsiders, it seemed like a young athlete choosing life beyond the game.

But the full story remained hidden.

“Born on August 22, 2001, in Columbus, Ohio, Jack spent his formative years in Hilliard and Plain City, where he became known for his infectious smile, his humility, and his vibrant energy,” it added.

It continued,

“He was a proud graduate of Wisconsin University, where played football and pursued his passions with vigor and dedication. His love for sports was matched only by his love for people. Jack had a huge heart and an innate ability to connect with everyone he met.

The obituary added, “Jack had a huge heart and an innate ability to connect with everyone he met. His warmth and kindness touched the lives of many, leaving an indelible mark on family, friends, and colleagues alike.”

Tributes Pour In After Tragic Passing

Wisconsin’s football program shared a heartfelt message on their official social media, expressing deep sorrow and remembering him as a “positive light” who was loved by teammates and staff.

“The Wisconsin athletics family is deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Jack Pugh. Jack was a positive light and brought a genuine spirit to our football program. More than that, he cared about people and was loved by teammates and staff,” the report read.

Another post from the team offered support to his family during the devastating time, echoing the heartbreak felt across the community.

Friends and loved ones followed with emotional tributes. One family member, Kenna Lyn McClelland, described Jack as more than a cousin — a best friend, a constant source of laughter, and someone who could brighten any room, in a deeply personal message shared on Facebook.

A Teammate’s Quiet Warning

Even before the news became public, subtle signs began to surface. One of Jack’s former teammates posted a short but powerful message in a post shared on X.

At the time, it seemed like a general reminder. Now, it feels like something much deeper.

The Hidden Struggle Behind His Decision

It wasn’t until after his passing that the real reason behind Jack’s early retirement began to emerge.

In a message he shared on his now-private Instagram, NBC News reported that Jack revealed that stepping away from football had little to do with the game itself.

“My physical health was not near perfect, but my mental health was the reason I decided to hang it up,” he wrote. He opened up about years of prolonged depression and substance abuse, admitting he had been digging himself into what he described as a “deeper darker hole.”

“Over years of prolonged depression and substance abuse, I decided I deserved a better life and to finally find happiness.”

“I never had prioritized my mental health all along, digging a deeper darker hole. I want to thank the amazing Coaches, Teammates, Friends and Family @badgerfootball has provided me with over the years for helping me find a life I’m happy and proud of, and to finally create a relationship with God. I’ll never forget the memories. Love y’all.”

A Pain He Kept Mostly Private

Jack’s words painted a picture far more serious than anyone outside his inner circle may have realized.

He explained that he had spent years not prioritizing his mental health, despite everything happening around him. And then came the line that now feels impossible to ignore.

A Life That Meant So Much to So Many

Despite his struggles, Jack continued to impact those around him in meaningful ways. He graduated from the University of Wisconsin in 2025. He remained deeply connected to the people who supported him throughout his journey, as noted in the tribute from Wisconsin’s football program.

“Jack proudly earned his degree from UW-Madison in 2025 and will forever be remembered and loved.” Those closest to him remember not the pain he carried — but the joy he gave.

A Lasting Message

Looking back, his decision to leave football now feels less like a mystery — and more like a quiet act of survival. What once seemed like a sudden career change was actually something far more profound: a young man trying to reclaim his life.

And while he may have stepped away from the spotlight, his story is now shining a light on something bigger. Jack’s journey is one that resonates far beyond football. It’s about the battles people fight in silence — and the importance of speaking up before it’s too late.

Because sometimes, the strongest players on the field are carrying the heaviest burdens off of it.

Grizzlies Star Brandon Clarke’s Final Weeks Revealed as Teammate Shares Last Conversation Details

A FaceTime call, a mysterious investigation, and a traffic stop that raised eyebrows — Brandon Clarke’s final weeks are now drawing intense attention after his sudden death at 29.

As tributes continue flooding in for the Memphis Grizzlies forward, several unsettling details from the last stretch of his life have slowly begun surfacing, painting a far more complicated picture behind the scenes.

For days, fans were left searching for answers after news broke that Clarke had died unexpectedly. But while teammates remembered him as a beloved figure in Memphis, investigators quietly confirmed that key questions surrounding his death had still not been resolved.

Now, a recent arrest, a string of painful injuries, and an emotional final conversation with a former teammate are all becoming part of the growing timeline surrounding the NBA player’s final weeks.

Investigation Still Ongoing

According to the New York Post, the Los Angeles Medical Examiner has cleared Clarke’s body to be released to his family.

But one detail in the report immediately stood out.

The Medical Examiner’s office said Clarke’s cause and manner of death were deferred, describing the case as “pending additional investigation.”

The brief statement left major questions unanswered and fueled even more speculation online as fans waited for additional information.

The update came shortly after Clarke’s death, which shocked the basketball world, especially because the 29-year-old had remained connected to current and former teammates despite largely staying away from the spotlight recently.

A FaceTime Call That Now Feels Different

Among those struggling to process Clarke’s death was former Grizzlies player Kyle Anderson, who revealed he had spoken to him only weeks earlier.

Speaking to The Athletic, Anderson described Clarke as someone who naturally brought energy into every room.

“Just a really good person, a really good teammate, obviously someone who was really good on the court. Just someone I could instantly see and we would start laughing and start sharing jokes. He was Memphis’ own, for sure. He did his part in the community,” Anderson said.

But it was his next comment that hit hardest. “It’s just crazy. It really don’t make no sense. I was on the phone with him two weeks ago on FaceTime. It’s really still raw.”

The Injuries That Kept Piling Up

Long before the latest headlines, Clarke’s basketball career had already taken several difficult turns physically.

The former Gonzaga star entered the NBA as the No. 21 overall pick in 2019 and quickly established himself as one of Memphis’ most reliable rotation players. But over the next few years, injuries began interrupting both his momentum and availability.

According to another New York Post report, the first major red flag came in March 2023, when Clarke suffered a torn left Achilles tendon.

The injury occurred only months after he signed a four-year, $52 million contract extension with Memphis and forced him into a lengthy recovery process that limited him to just six games during the 2023-24 season.

A second setback followed the next year after Clarke appeared in 64 games before suffering a high-grade PCL injury in his right knee.

The knee injury caused him to miss the beginning of the 2025-26 season. Then came another issue.

After returning for only two games in December, Clarke was sidelined once again because of a right calf injury, adding another frustrating chapter to the final stretch of his career.

What Officers Found Inside His Car

As details about Clarke’s final months continued to emerge, another incident from shortly before his death also resurfaced.

The New York Post reported that Clarke had been arrested in Arkansas on April 1 on charges that included trafficking a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance, fleeing in a vehicle exceeding the speed limit, and improper passing.

According to the Cross County Sheriff’s Office, Clarke had allegedly been seen “passing several vehicles in a no-passing zone at well over 100 mph” before officers pulled him over.

During the stop, authorities reportedly discovered 235.6 grams of kratom inside a blue duffel bag resting on the passenger seat of the Corvette he was driving.

The details were outlined in a probable cause affidavit obtained by The California Post.

The arrest became one of the final public incidents tied to Clarke before news of his death stunned the NBA community weeks later.

For now, many of the biggest questions remain unanswered as investigators continue examining the circumstances surrounding the Grizzlies player’s death.

As we had previously reported, Clarke’s sudden death on May 1, 2026, was followed by the emergence of court records tied to the Memphis Grizzlies player. The documents pointed to legal issues he had been dealing with in the weeks before his death.

Brandon Clarke Was Due in Court Days Before His Death

The NBA player was pronounced dead Monday after emergency responders were called to a Los Angeles home around 5 p.m., according to TMZ. The outlet reported authorities are investigating the death as a possible overdose after drug paraphernalia was allegedly found inside the residence.

But as details surrounding Clarke’s death emerged, court documents obtained by the media outlet revealed the 29-year-old had also been scheduled to appear before an Arkansas judge on May 15 in connection with multiple criminal charges tied to an April traffic stop.

According to the records, prosecutors charged Clarke with felony trafficking of a controlled substance after authorities allegedly discovered illegal narcotics during the stop. The substances reportedly included Kratom, a pain-relief substance regulated differently across the United States.

Clarke was also charged with felony fleeing in a vehicle exceeding the posted speed limit after authorities alleged he attempted to evade officers during the incident.

The filings further list three misdemeanor charges: possession of a Schedule VI controlled substance under four ounces, improper passing on the left, and speeding more than 15 miles over the limit. Following Clarke’s death, the criminal case can no longer proceed.

NBA Community Reacts to Brandon Clarke’s Death on X

Tributes for Clarke quickly spread across X following news of his death. The Memphis Grizzlies shared a statement describing him as a respected teammate whose impact extended beyond basketball, while offering condolences to his family and loved ones.

On the same platform, sports agency Priority Sports posted a memorial message highlighting Clarke’s relationships with friends, family, teammates, and coaches. The agency also remembered him as someone who consistently supported the people around him throughout his career.

Clarke had also spent much of the past year dealing with injuries that repeatedly interrupted his time on the court, including one setback that kept him sidelined for months

Clarke Battled Injuries Before Returning Late in 2025

Fox Sports records show Clarke spent much of the 2025 season battling injuries, with the Grizzlies forward sidelined at different points by knee, back, lip, and calf issues.

According to the NBA, one of his most serious setbacks came on March 19, 2025, when he suffered a right knee injury that required offseason surgery and sidelined him for eight months.

The athlete returned in December 2025 during Memphis’ win over the Minnesota Timberwolves, recording six points, three offensive rebounds, an assist, and a steal in nearly 17 minutes.

His return marked one of the few positive moments in an injury-filled season for the Grizzlies. After the game, Clarke said he felt encouraged by his recovery progress.

“I can jump higher than I did last year, according to the trainers,” Clarke said. “I’m feeling good. Just keep working and everything is going to come together nicely.”

Clarke’s death followed another loss that affected the basketball community in late 2025, when former NBA player Elden “Easy E” Campbell died unexpectedly at 57. His family later shared details about the hours leading up to his death.
